Highly recommend!! Impulsive call in for food before a long drive back to Nottingham and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Perfect crispy fish and chips with yummy spicy curry sauce in a pot, service with a smile and friendly advice on where to go to enjoy my chips alfresco, thank you ☺️ Will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Arrived at 8.50pm, just before closing at 9pm. The guy serving offered fantastic customer service, fish cooked to order, tasty and great size portions of cod and chips. Would definitely recommend 👍

We have had takeaway from here before a couple of times and it’s always been great. So much so that we travel the extra distance as opposed to going to our local chippy. However, this time the chips were so soggy and pale. They definitely needing more cooking time. My partner had a skinless battered cod which I waited an extra 15 minutes to be cooked - not an issue at all. But a few hours later he’s been throwing up for hours. This will definitely put us off going here again.

I ordered one large cod and a small chips. Fish was nice but not fresh and flaky like cod should be why very fresh and the chips are never crispy and they always look anemic. So if you decide to buy and fish and chip meal from Humble fish and chips in Weybridge I would ask for for crispy chips and fluffy potato on the inside. The fish is always swimming in fat when you get it delivered they don’t let the fish sit in there counter cabinet for the cooked fish to lose the oil soaked batter.

I am fortunate enough to have a good amount of fish and chip shops near me, but, Hamble Lane chip shop is by far the best. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful. The service is quick and nothing is to much trouble. I think I can best sum this establishment up by saying that the overall experience makes me visit them, and therefore eat more fish and chips, than I should.

Been there many times, never disappointed. Good prices and good service. Friendly staff. Parking not a problem.

Just had a 3 day holiday down in Hamble Marina. We passed this chippy whilst driving down to the Hamble. Went there in evening and had the best cod & chips we have ever had for years. Cod was so fresh & moist. Batter was near perfect. Will go again when in area.

Passing by whilst staying at Mercury Marina & Holiday Park. Decided to get a meal there. Wow, this was the best Cod & Chips we have had for many years !!! Fish was so fresh & moist, batter near perfect. Think Gordon Ramsey would agree 👍 Will certainly go there again 100% perfect.

Very good fish and chips, good size fish nice thin crispy batter, good size portion of chips and great service and proper mushy peas !

Overall a better chippie than Lowford fish bar - food is really well cooked The only downside is the choice is food is less than Lowford fish bar
