Visited The Vine for the Boxing Day performance of King John Morris men. Every Boxing Day they perform a Mummers play & dances. They are brilliant!! Highly recommended.

Really friendly locals pub, but the locals are a good chat so I wouldn't be afraid! as a first timer in this pub I was impressed by the selection of lager and draught ales. absolutely great atmosphere and the barman was very friendly.

Follow Mr & Mrs R on TikTok. What an amazing find! Best real traditional pub in the area. Sat down to sample 2 dishes off the specials board. A gammon steak and the pan fried sea bass. This was followed by 2 proper English pubs, fruit crumble, plus a bread and butter pudding. (NO STICKY TOFFEE OR CHOCOLATE BROWNIES HERE!) All well prepared, good sized portions of wholesome home cooked food. As they say “use it or loose it” a great real ale 🍺 pub in a beautiful location. I will be coming back soon to try their Sunday roasts and more traditional homemade puddings.

We just walked into this pub, I am pregnant and have a 2 year old toddler. The sign said bookings only but a white family in front of us were allowed in with a table. When we went in next, we were told that it was bookings only, the chef had walked out and it was an hour wait for food. The family in front were told none of this. We said we were happy to wait but they refused to allow us through. There were empty tables and people clearly walking I'm without bookings. Absolutely appalling service just because we were Asian, and even more disgusting because I am pregnant. I will be writing to the chain owners about pregnancy discrimination under the equality act 2010.

Excellent atmosphere friendly and good beer

We’ve been for the Sunday roast a few times and I have to say, it’s the best around. Such a friendly little pub and the staff are lovely. All the food is cooked superbly and is so fresh with a good selection of vegetables and it’s all fresh. Can’t recommend this little pub enough!

Fabulous little pub! I come here every time I am in the village, it’s a must. Very friendly, amazing home cooked food & great booze. Always happy when leaving, best pub around here :) the meat draw on Sundays is so fun too!

Second Sunday roast I have had at the vine. Both were amazing with five different veg and home made gravy. The traditional puddings are a good size and delicious. We had our little dog with us and the landlord made a special effort to make sure she had water and a mat to lay on and also treats. It wasn’t too noisy like some pubs can be with music, we were able to chat in the lovely warm comfy surroundings. It’s in a great position for dog walking too. We will definitely be back soon Thank you

A friendly local pub in the heart of Old Bursledon. Don’t expect bells and whistles with the food but it is homemade, tasty and the drinks go down well.

This is a very nice and cosy village pub, that is a bit off of the beaten track but nevertheless is situated in a very picturesque location.

Lovely friendly staff. Landlord is very welcoming. Regular things going on. I was too late to try the food but the menus were varied and looked interesting. Cosy atmosphere with a mix of hard and soft seating. Great venue for an intimate night out or a large group.

Good old fashioned proper pub. Great food, beers and natter. Events and music.

The most friendly pub I have been to in ages, good burger as well.

Lovely little pub, cosy and like the small pubs of days gone by. Recommended for the home made food and good beer. Friendly landlord Andy was very accommodating. A great find.

We call this our secret pub as its tucked away and is a hidden wee gem. Full of friendly locals and banter its extremely homely and feels how pubs used to be.

Always a warm welcome, good beers and wine plus great Sunday lunches with splendid vegetables.

Very nice. First time for us. Basic pub food, good pint of bitter, good service, good prices, had to park a short distance away from the pub, about a minute walk. We will be going back.

A delightful pub full of delightful people, the owners were friendly and welcoming, the room was warm and had a happy atmosphere me and my friends loved it and are planning to return for one of their quiz nights! Good value for money, it is a beacon of hope in a dying industry of the quaint independent British pub. Keep up the good work!
