The best restaurants serving Default food in Dartford South East

I called into this grade 2 listed pub yesterday and had a bottle of Budweiser while watching some of the Olympics, the pub has had a makeover since my last visit some years ago.

The floor is an absolute disgrace and appears to be being held together by hazard tape.

Have driven past this a number of times. Just off the M25 on a roundabout. Plenty of parking. Have to register to park. Fantastic menu. Good value. Not cheap but great streaks. Extremely friendly service. Really nice inside. A little surprised by this but should not be. Good bar. Great ambience. Clearly very popular. A great treat. Lots of special from the app if you have it. In the area? Great place to eat with the family.

Ok so its new years eve to give context however we arrived at 7-20 not late in the evening and found we were having long waits between services, food that was cold and dry chicken (not there normal stranded).Staff was way overworked and food orders were mixed up for other tables or cold. The issue is this was always going to be a busy day so why allow online delivery as a priority over in house customers this service should have been closed for the day as clearly all issues stemmed from the kitchen. It will be a long while till I come back if ever.

The Ship Inn is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere, excellent food, and consistently good service. The menu is well thought out, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions. The Sunday roast is always a highlight, well-cooked and full of flavour. A recent Mexican night featured a brisket burrito that was particularly impressive—it would be a great addition to the main menu. The service is friendly and efficient, making each visit enjoyable. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a great bonus for those looking to bring their pets along. A well-run pub that’s definitely worth visiting!

Lovely food but did not enjoy having my meal and conversation interrupted by a member of staff who then stood over me and told me to leave a review. He refused to leave until I did so!

Really enjoy meeting my family here for lunch. Friendly, clean and a good menu.

New owners doing a better job in my opinion..Guinness was poured to perfection, went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the free bar roast potatoes.

Absolutely disgusted with their service. Waited an hour for the food to be delivered which is understandable but food was cold upon arrival and when calling to discuss I was accused of lying and there was no apology. I was cut off by lady on the phone.

Website says close at 11pm. Walked 1.2 mile to get there to find out door was locked at 10.05pm. Man shouted through letter box that they had shut early. Only been here a few times and have enjoyed the atmosphere and food but given the amount of other Indian restaurants around, I doubt Raj will be me choice again anytime soon

Great bar staff. Very competitive priced drinks local were very welcoming.

I have fried egg and bacon Baguette every day with 2 cups of tea For £7:50. The Baguette is always very fresh. The food quality is great and great value
