We met with a large group of friends with numerous children in the garden on a Saturday afternoon and the bar staff were brilliant all day and well into the evening. From the huge masses of bar food that was ordered, that all arrived swiftly and was lovely!! To the constant clearing of plates and empty glasses by every one of the members of staff!!! Made our day even more enjoyable. Will be back for sure, if you'll have us all again!!

Only had drinks and a bowl of chips. Staff were friendly and the Chips were amazing!

Great food, great service, lovely garden

Staff were lovely and friendly, and I see that the Sunday roasts have good reviews. However, I had roast lamb, but it was not proper carved meat. The vegetables weren't that brilliant, and the pudding I had seemed like it was bulk bought, not homemade. I guess I like real food too much but most of my friends liked it, so I hope you do too.

Under new management, it closes a little earlier. A good selection of drinks and good food. Plenty of parking space in the carpark.

Not the first time we have visited this pub but yesterday we came here with friends for a little pre Easter meal and catch up. Service, food and atmosphere all 5* Can't rate this pub enough. Family friendly and the staff are so lovely. Will definitely be coming back more this summer!

Had theeeee most delicious Sunday roast for Mother's Day at The Plough. The meal was hot, delicious and a good assortment of vegetables. Puddings were to die for. The staff were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Lilly and the rest of the ladies serving are an absolute joy ..... not to mention the dirty fries, a thing of wonder!!

New to the area and had a lovely Sunday roast here with my partner. Food was excellent (minted lamb shank should be award winning) and the chocolate fudge cake 10/10. What topped it off was the service. Everyone smiled at us and were welcoming from the moment we came through the door. Special shout out to Lily who served us throughout with great humour and a beaming smile. We will be back!

We was greeted by Lily who was our waitress, she was just amazing, her customer service was outstanding, what a lovely place for a Sunday roast…. Traditional home cooked and so delicious, definitely recommend.

We went to The Plough the over day for dinner and overall had a lovely experience. A big thank you to Izzy to helped open the doors / move chairs around to accommodate my dads wheelchair - you made the experience so much easier! Would definitely return here again.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast today phoned in the morning managed to fit us in food was 1st class as was the service 👌 100% will be returning in the future.

Food very nice and decent portions. Play area in the garden really good for the children, although very muddy. Car park had plenty of spaces.

Great roast dinners and lovely garden

Staff were amazing for Nan's 90th birthday meal. Very attentive and patient with our party of 12 which included 3 children. The roast dinners were exceptional and the desserts were amazing too. Portions were spot on for a hungry family. Staff helped us with dishing out a birthday cake we'd brought ourselves, and joined in with the singing and celebrating. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the decor is very tasteful. After the meal we went and sat in the garden while the kids played on the swings, and the service remained exceptional outside too. I'd heartily recommend a visit to the Plough on a Sunday for a roast dinner with your family. We will return. Thank you.

Went today for lunch for the first time. What a lovely friendly pub service was excellent and the food is to die for. They have an extensive menu and specials each day. Would highly recommend and will be returning very soon.

Friendly helpful staff, and lovely food choice of 3 different meats served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Also serve child size portions.

Went here for the first time since the new owners have taken over with my mum for her birthday for a meal , had to wait a long time for our food but was worth it because it was really amazing.

Went to the plough this afternoon with the family, 12 of us in total so a big group. usually apprehensive going out for Sunday dinners because they never compare to a home cooked roast. The plough Sunday roast was a serious contender to ‘ mums roast’ . Huge portions and cooked to perfection, I would go as far to say easily the best roast I’ve ever had out in the area! And considering we were a group of 12 the staff managed everything fantastically. We will definitely be back in the new year. Huge thanks to all the staff at the plough for a wonderful afternoon

Just had the pleasure of having Sunday lunch in the Plough in Wilmington this is the first time we had been there since the new owners have had The best way to describe is Whow the food was delicious the staff are so friendly and efficient definately worth a visit can't wait to go back

A lovely meal, speedy and polite service made our lunch a real treat.

Although we had to sit outside, the weather wasn't to bad. Very thorough bar staff taking our orders then not long to wait for our drinks to come to us.

Fantastic lunch here today, what a treat to go into the NEW plough, so welcoming, so clean and modern, will definitely recommend to everyone we see, looking forward to summertime in the pub garden too. Well done to the refurb, couldn't believe how different it is all the way through.

It is situated in peaceful Wilmington and whilst retaining the original small cosy bar it has been extended and refurbished throughout to a high standard. At the rear now is more seating which is used for restaurant purposes. With good parking at the rear it makes a very pleasant venue to visit.

But The Location Was Wrong I Was In The House Next Door 😅👍
