Nice little hidden gem!!! Summer garden is lovely...when there is good weather to enjoy it

Best place around for Sunday lunch. Good home cooked food and great value for money. Nice friendly staff. Easy parking too.

My first visit for a Sunday Roast after hearing good reviews. The Rose did not disappoint a lovely prawn cocktail to start and a roast beef dinner. The portions were huge. Lovely atmosphere and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon thank you.

Lovely pub on the edge of town. Very friendly bunch of locals and staff. Can't fault my visit there.

Great little pub, lovely food and a good selection of beers, brilliant staff, definitely on the list to revisit, we were a group of six and nothing was too much trouble, excellent service.

This is one of many visits to the Fantastic Rose last Sunday we took our family grandchildren etc so there was six of us. Yet again The Sunday Lunch was absolutely top draw. The service was brilliant nothing was to much trouble so with two grandchildren that goes along way . The Rose takes Sunday Lunch to another level . We cannot wait for our next visit

It's a lovely pub with good selection of drinks, pool tables & lovely large back garden. I & mate had a wonderful evening. If I only known they served food we would have some food. I do recommend this pud for those whom what a wonderful, relaxing experience & also family friendly.

Best Sunday Roast in Dartford, very large portion and home cooking to perfection. Delivered hot and potatoes still crispy . Highly recommended

Nice pub, pool tables are not great but still playable , dart boards available and a good pint poured well by friendly bar staff, no agg and a nice garden to enjoy your cold pint

Delicious food, lovely staff and gorgeous location. This is a surprising gem, and within very close walking distance to the station and the orchard theatre. Would recommend this charming pub and will definitely be coming back again.

The food and service were excellent. Staff very accommodating, even offering low fat dressing to accommodate for slimming world. Garden is enclosed and very peaceful. Good quality at very reasonable price.

Visited to book the Wake for my step mothers funeral and stayed for a late lunch. Great menu, proper pub lunch, good portions, very tasty and a fab price. The service was also great. Very nice garden area too. The cost for the Wake refreshments provided by Angela was brilliant and the food that will be included was much more than I anticipated. All in all a lovely little pub off the beaten track of Dartford Town centre. I will definitely be returning.

Definitely worthy of a visit. My daughter had her 50th birthday party here. We had delicious snacks which were replenished all afternoon. We were placed in the covered and heated garden room, and spilt out ino the garden. The children loved playing in the garden too. The staff were really helpful when I asked for a place to park my mobility scooter, and helped me go through the pub, which has a couple of high steps, so it would be fine for people with limited mobility, but not suitable for a wheelchair.

Food and staff were lovely. The one downside was that I thought the car park was part of the pub and I got a parking fine. Might be an idea to have a notice in the pub about paying for parking

You really cannot beat The Rose Sunday roast. Beautiful home cooked food and plentiful portions. Never disappoints! Cheerful and helpful staff too. Can’t recommend enough.

Had a lovely family Sunday roast ( just the oldies) on 12th Feb, there was 7 of us and it was beautiful, would highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff too. We will definately be back.

I have lived in the area for over 20 years and never been in the "Rose". I had a family dinner today 😋 and it was very nice. Nice pub friendly and has a very nice pub garden. This place was recommended to us . 10/10 thank you be back soon for a drink night out.

Another visit to a wonderful pub. Just noticed they have some interesting clocks. I found a Mars, a Uranus and a Pluto. I am looking for the rest. Guinness is still excellent as it the Tribute

First time at the Rose today for my mums birthday. There were 10 of us so quite a big table to serve. When we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly which gave the pub a lovely atmosphere. I had heard that the food was good but it was absolutely delicious! The starter of Tempura cod was very tasty and the Roast dinner exceeded all our expectations 😋. Would thoroughly recommend it and thank you to all the staff for looking after us and making it a very special occasion.😊

Nice friendly vibes little gem of a pub

First time having visited this venue and found it very pleasing. Hsd Sunday lunch and altough there was 22 in our party , it was excellent. It was a beautiful sunny day and the staff were very personable and efficient. Certainly to be recommended.

First visit my grandson took me for Sunday lunch, lively atmosphere very friendly staff and a wonderful roast.

Lovely pub, good atmosphere and a great menu for food. Staff are always very welcoming. It's rare you have a good pool table at pubs and here you'll find two of them. Outside seating area is well maintained and now have heating and shelter.

After having read some many great reviews about this pubs sunday lunch. Me and a friend decided to try it and I must say what a excellent Sunday lunch it was the roast beef was very tender and well cooked just as I like it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a pub I certainly would return to for a meal when i'm in the area.

I visited my friend and she took me to her local pub . Very nice pub. Superb food and service. I love atmosphere over there. Very nice beer garden. Close to station. When in this area you must go there. Beer is spot on. Definitely I will come back.

Went for the 1st time sunday lunch with friends and i will 100% be returning. The dinner was amazing. so fresh and lots of it !! service was table service due to the new rules but staff were so attentive and always on hand if you needed anything. Had such a lovely day. facilities clean and well sanitised.

I go there and have LUNCH ANDHAVE IT IN THE GARDEN WHICH IS VERY BIG IÌAND KEEP VERY LOVELY. FOOD IS GOOD SUNDAY LUNCH IS AMAZING

Sunday roast take out delicious today, brilliant service, tasty and very good value. Thank you ladies for another wonderful meal.

It has good parking and is adjacent to the town centre. The decor is of a high standard and service matches that. The rear garden is immaculate and tasteful garden furniture has been installed. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable pub.

Ange, Shaun and staff run this amazing pub and their hospitality and food are second to none. They have to be highly commended for their stringent Covid regulations too... it's reassuring and makes dining in a very safe environment to enjoy exemplary food. Had a lovely roast with my partner very impressed with the service and the food thank you so much I had the onion soup and the beef and my partner had the lamb we were both very happy with every thing the garden was perfect the sun was out which made it all a 10star meal

I have never been here before we went with my brother his wife his two year old who looks more like a four year old and friend’s with their children. Very organised phone number/numbers taken for the just in case need to contact and trace, plenty of hand sanitiser in obvious places. The pub has been updated and modern the gardens are a good size and well laid out not close to anyone table, A good and thoughtful layout. Staff very welcoming and very pleasant considering there was 4 children and all boys but enough space for them to run around without being close to other people enjoying their day in the sun. The gardens are lovely to sit outside in the September sunshine, spent the day being served and eating and drinking, by good attentive staff. Food good, pub food at a reasonable price, we got a train back to Bexley afterwards and then home. Many thanks Rose Pub, we will be back.

Sunday Roast We came here for the first time this Sunday, was blown away by the quality of the food. Really lovely pub. Very welcoming and very reasonable. Would definitely come here again.

We live in Dartford and have been going by and not gone in it but had to meet someone so went in and had a very good surprise at the lovely garden at the back in which we had a lovely time bar staff could not be better we will definitely go again thank you.

Went with a friend for a meal pre-covid and was absolutely stunned at the attitude of the staff. No idea how this place stays open if they are this consistently rude to customers.

Great friendly service ,spotless inside the pub and the table in the garden. They garden is beautiful with plenty of space between table. Hand sanitizer was available by all door.

I wish I'd realised sooner that we have such a gem of a pub right next door! Booked in for a Sunday roast for my partners birthday. Food was absolutely wonderful, all freshly made and full of flavour, not too expensive either. We were told there would be a wee wait as they were very busy but everything came in good time. Most of the service was really great, although you could tell some of the staff were feeling the pressure and seemed quite stressed, left us hanging for a drinks order so ended up just leaving it but let's face it, we'd all be stressed having to work a busy Sunday in these crazy times! A gorgeous friendly wee local, great food, good service and a cracking beer garden. Will definitely be back soon.

The best afternoon tea thanks to the Rose. I ordered it for my mum & dad for a Father’s Day treat and wow they didn’t disappoint, I have never seen my dad enjoy a tea so much. Perfect touch was the home made sausage rolls & quiche as well as the well filled sandwiches much better then Iv had at other teas, it was so nice to have all home made scones and the cake choice was great esp the carrot cake and my dad loved the profiteroles. There was the option of delivery or collection, I opted to collect and service was great and the tea well packaged and placed in my car. Thank you to the Rose will def order again great value for money.

Came to The Rose for a Sunday roast and it was probably the best meal I've eaten in any pub anywhere in the country. The quality of the food as well as the staff was absolutely slot on. Will be going back there to eat again without a doubt.
