The best restaurants serving British food in Dartford South East

Don’t know where to start but terrible is probably the best place. I have no clue what people are raving about meat tasted off and no butter!!!!!

You know how a cup of tea away from home is never as good as at home? Well that’s not the case at All Day Cafè in Dartford, it’s just a good as home made. I usually get a bacon sarnie and they’re not skimpy with the bacon, which is great. Those huge plates of sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, black pudding etc, look amazing too and it’s always bustling with local people - a good sign. I highly recommend this excellent place. Keep up the good work ADC!

Great food as always!! Always feel welcome, well worth a divert Homemade food, great quality and delicious. Pleanty of it!!

we went out for a family meal and we had the most lovely server, her name was abi, she was so kind brought out all our food and drinks so quickly, she was so friendly and made our night so much better. 10/10 service would definitely come again if she was our server. She also said that she usually works behind the bar and not front of house but she absolutely nailed it.

Kirsty was really friendly and professional. She asked us if we had put our reg in, and if we had booked our table- and made us feel welcome throughout.

Popular local pub quite busy drinks reasonably priced, and have meal and drinks specials over all food is not too bad and comes out fast good for a afternoon lunch.

10 of us, including 4 children under 7, went to the Ship Inn for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday. The meals were lovely and even though they were very busy, the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We've been twice in two weeks, just because the food is so amazing. We've come here for years, the food has hi's and lows. Currently the best it's been, the Miso roast chicken is superb, the ham hock too. Calamari and humous starters delightful. Service is great, even when busy. Only thing spoilt our visit was people letting their toddlers run up and down the length of the bar, using it as lunchtime playground.

Having eaten here on previous occasions and been very happy with the food, we were disappointed today. There were 5 of us and 2 people had fish and chips. The chips were cold and the fish poor standard. I had a piece of Frittata with salad.The Frittata was fine but the salad choice was very limited and uninspiring unlike the choice on previous visits. What has gone wrong ?

Took a chance as we hadn't booked for lunch and so glad we did. Great choice of food and very reasonable prices. Served quickly at the bar and food followed without too long a delay despite them being busy serving Christmas lunches. Nice and hot, very tasty and generous portions. We all enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely visit again

Perfectly functional venue selling reasonable snacks (not the cheapest) but traffic seem efficient and organised. Clean and serviceable.
