dirty tables dirty floors staff talking to each other all the time . food tastes of burnt fat plus black burnt bits on all your fried food . not good at all wont be going there again

Amazing, not been for some time and still consistently good, so good I went 2 days in a row. On both days I had a Dolly's Delux (sausage, bacon, egg, chips, plum tomatoes with 2 toast and a cup of tea) and both days it was absolutely fabulous. Hot and tasty with great service. Recommended.

We came to Longfield to collect a truck and were pleased to find this cafe while we were waiting for the garage to open. We received great service from the friendly waitress and our bacon rolls were fresh and good value, nice strong mugs of tea too.

Been using this place about 5 years always outstanding. I’ve eaten in and taken away, my son had a fantastic burger. Very friendly and helpful

Absolute shocker of a meal this morning. I have been using the cafe for over 10 years. Food was disgusting, cold and my partners veggie breakfast has 3 slices of bacon added to it. When I said my breakfast had missing items was told the cafe was busy and he made a mistake. No refund and instead more undercooked food arrived. This has put me off using the place again and they have lost a repeat customer.

I went there today to do some work on the owners vehicle and I had to wait a short while for him to arrive and while I was sitting there I saw many meals taken out and they all looked fabulous but what really impressed me was the cleanliness as I could see right into the kitchen and believe me it was spotless They even gave me a Bacon Sandwich for breakfast and it was really nice with good quality bacon and bread if I lived local and not 30 miles away I’d be in there every day

Phone order for lunchtime takeaway. Three cheese half pounders, one with fried onions and mushrooms, one with fried onions and mushrooms, salad and chips, one with fried onions, salad and chips. Ready in 15 minutes, popped them in an insulated bag, drove home and dished up. All still café hot, very tasty. Definitely recommend.

Full Monty and Dolly’s deluxe. Really yummy and tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere packed this morning. Lovely food served quickly.

A lovely time was had by all, various different meals, all large hot and very tasty (would satisfy any healthy appetite) accompanied by teas coffees and cold drinks. All the staff were very friendly, patient and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Always a pleasure to meet up there. Still recommended.

Been here a few times, usually just for coffee but have had their breakfasts and such. Staff are friendly, and the food is good. They have expanded their menu aswell, it’s worth looking into, and the pricing is decent.

Awful food, hard eggs, vile sausages and cold and quite expensive for a local caff. Never again . I’ve had much better for a lot less money.

Food was really good can’t fault the chef but the service is a joke. Will literally ignore a waiting customer to flirt with someone, ignore the chef calling out for a meal that someone is waiting for while all the rest of there party are eating (about to Go up and get it ourselves) and will have you wondering whether they are giving bad service on purpose. Do not recommend

Very average and overpriced food, eatable but that’s about all, much better cafe’s around, will not be using again...

Awful food, the bacon must have been cooked about 12 times, as hard as rock, I asked for soft fried eggs, they came out like salad eggs. Worst sausages ever. And bloody Marge on the bread. Avoid this place.

We had breakfast at this place. Plate is well served and you could even share. I am not a person that eats too much in the morning, as an example. Fair price. Very typical English food.

Four adults and 2 children. Varied snacks and meals. All very generous and very tasty. Definitely Recommend.

Come here for brunch on Saturday, quick polite service by all the staff. Ordered ham and cheese omelette and burger and chips with 2 coffees come to a very reasonable £13. Would definitely come back quality of food was good and not greasy like other cafes I've been to.

Not actually a diner but I would not want to spoil the alliteration. Good food, friendly welcome and great service. The tiny kitchen is open which exudes confidence. Very popular with trades people. All the food is freashly cooked and brought to your table with a smile. Proper mugs of tea. Excellent value.

Found bacon tasteless sausages powdery fried bread was just a soggy bit of mess. Tea tasted soapy and weak. First and lsst visit

Lovely food and fast! I had a bacon sandwich - you can’t fault the bacon. I would have loved fresh baked bread but I understand that it would slow things down. My cup of coffee was steaming hot!

Although busy at lunch, staff remained cool and polite. Handily placed opposite the station and with an uncluttered interior, I ordered an all day breakfast which was well cooked and quickly served. Perhaps fresh tomatoes should be served and not tinned, that aside, no moans.

Popped into Dollys Diner for breakfast and wasn't too impressed that the girl who was taking the money at the till also picked up my toast and carried it to the kitchen. Imagine the germs from the coins?!

We went because it always looks fairly busy. We had breakfast and it was undoubtedly the worst breakfast we have ever had anywhere. The sausage was cut in half and pressed until over cooked,it was all over cooked in the worst possible way. Not again for us.☹️

Very nice small diner on side of road...food cooked with some love and quite tasty. Friendly atmosphere. Fantastic for a quick stop to feed the hunger beasts.

Visited today have been before but a very long time ago.Always looks busy and was a constant flow of traffic today and fully seated at times to. I always say if it's busy it must be good and we was not disappointed.Even though it gets busy it took no longer than 10minutes to get our food out to us. As my partner is watching her weight she was surprised there was something called the calorie counter which she obviously had and I plumped for the French stick. We had a calorie counter - 2 bacon , scrambled egg , tomatoes and 2 toast , & a sausage , bacon & egg French stick with 2 coffees . The total was £9.80 food was lovely , staff were nice and we would go back good value for money.Thanks all

Dolly's is a local favorite diner and is popular with families and tradesmen alike for a typical cafe cooked breakfast. It's open most of the day but I've only used it for breakfast as it opens early. Food is basic, simple but wholesome and the service is fast and friendly. Unlike a lot of builders cafes I've used, it's kept clean and tidy.

Always a pleasure to find a good breakfast. Not one swimming in grease but one that is freshly cooked and looks good. Bacon sandwich is a favourite of mine but many other sandwich options available for eat in or takeaway. Recommended.

This is a great little cafe, a real proper cafe.Popped in for a coffee and toast with a friend this week and service at the till was friendly and efficient. Lovely toast but please, please , please buy a proper coffee maker and do better coffee!

Only found Dolly's in recent months, but so far had no reason for complaint at all. Friendly staff who actually recognise you after just a couple of visits, fast service on both take away and eat in, good quality ingredients (specially my little bug bear - sausages!) and they can make 'proper' scrambled eggs.Become my regular since I took over business premises round the corner earlier this year. Look forward to more....

Well this place has saved my bacon a few times! I have more often visited this place nursing a hangover, but it's always seen me through. Very nice staff, great portions and decent quality food. Not too greasy either. I am particular about my fry up and would always choose this place. They do lots of other lunch-type meals too but I've only ever had the fry up and it's delicious. Not too expensive too. Definitely recommend it!

It's clean, the food is pretty good and they serve you quickly. They are kiddy friendly too. It's not cheap, but what is?!

This place is excellent, it is busy all the time which speaks volumes. The food is of good quality and reasonably priced. It has parking nearby so perfect for those needing to eat after leaving the house.

In an age of frappe serving coffee shops with breakfast Panini and pastries - a good cafe is a thing to be cherished.Dolly' is a proper cafe, serving up good old fashioned English Breakfasts that are fresh and not greasy. An institution to be savoured!!

There is a lot of choice, at a very reasonable price.The service is excellent, and the food is well cooked and presented.

Ordered a cup of Tea was truly disgusting and a little tangy, totally undrinkable. Also had chips and beans the chips were fine but beans were cold. My friend had nugget and chips, the nuggets were horrible pink and brown bits inside. This place had been recommended to us by a friend, we didn't complain but will never go back. Kitchen needs a good clean as well.

I've been here quite a few times now and they make the food just like you ask for it. I don't like butter on my roll and it's never appeared on "auto pilot" like it can in other places. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. :-)

Well, I've been in some 'greasy spoons' in my time, but this place excels.We waited at the counter as none of the empty tables had been cleared, to then be totally ignored by the disgruntled waitress who came out behind the counter and started to clear a space. At that point in surveying the area my confidence was shot in what I might be given, so I left.The place is grubby, extremely greasy to the point where you can taste it in the air, and I was that 'put off' that I really couldn't bring myself to try any of their offerings. All in all a very poor showing, and I know that I certainly will not be visiting again.

Even though they were very busy had quick service and food was made very quickly.Jacket potatoes very nice and came with a salad.Friendly staff would recommend thank you .

Regularly come here for a Sunday morning breakfast. Staff very friendly and welcoming especially with my little girl who always leaves lots of mess. Food really nice and lots of choice, very reasonably priced and usually quite busy.

Really lovely little cafe and exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. Had a breakfast here with 4 friends and they moved tables around to accomodate us without any problem. Superb breakfast of poached eggs and tomatoes. Very delicious bread! The loo is very clean and the staff work very hard. Very good value! Go here, it's great!

We popped in to Dolly's for some lunch, I had often passed the diner on my way home and it was always busy. The greeting was extremely friendly and the diner overall very well laid out. Everything was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was buzzing. There were shoppers, and workmen chatting away and everyone seemed to be enjoying their lunches. As we approached the back of the diner to place our order we were given a variety of choices written on the board so we selected and found ourselves a seat. The waitress came over with the cutlery and checked all the condiments we needed were there. The coffee and tea arrived first steaming hot and then the food. We both enjoyed the meal it was nicely presented and my jacket potatoes oozed with far too much filling and the accompanying salad was extremely fresh and crunchy. We felt the visit was definitely a good choice and value for money. We will definitely go again.

This café on a corner is sited opposite Longfield railway station. It has nine tidy tables inside which seat both 2 and 4 people. The tables were clean and the tables and chairs matching colours and of smart design. The walls are of a neutral colour and the whole café remains pleasantly uncluttered. On the wall is a delightfully designed old-style large clock. My meals was a baked potato which was served quickly and came with plenty of salad. The coffee was frothy and tasty too and the meal well-priced. The café is run by friendly staff and is recommended.

Had Breakfast here for the first time today, it was very good. There's a good choice of set breakfasts and lunches. Good tea and coffee nice friendly staff ! What's not to like !9/10 I say.

I usually like these kinds of cafes, but for me I just don't enjoy the food. The staff are very nice though, this is just down to personal taste.

Epic good epic portions, great for a hangover cure or healthy options. Usually get the full monty breakfast or a jacket potato.

Breakie is good . Good value but the toast is superb!! Tea needs improving as it comes out but like nats pea! But will scaled you its that hot

Had a pretty average breakfast here on Monday. Had the calorie counter, asked for no butter on the toast, but it came with butter. The scrambled eggs were pretty rubbish, could do better myself at home. Bacon and tomatoes fine. Asked for extra beans which it didn't come with. But the child's portion was massive so I nicked her beans off of it. My partner said his was edible but nothing special. Definitely room for improvement.

Best fry up for miles around. Always popular. Would visit more often if I didn't get tempted so easily by their tasty 1000 calorie breakfasts.

Have been coming to 'Dollys' for years now, and have started going regularly on a Saturday morning to neutralise the hangover. By far my favourite place for a fry-up. Dollys Full Monty (Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Beans/Tomato and Toast plus tea or coffee) for a fiver, with option to add extra portions of anything from chips to black pudding. Can't really beat it anywhere else in the area. Right next to Longfield station for any travellers passing through. They also do other classic meals ranging from Spag Bol and steak, to Liver & Bacon and Sausage and Mash - a proper 'English Cafe' if you like. Don't come in if you don't like builders or people eating off a hangover, and don't expect it to be the Ritz. Opens around 6am-4pm for Breakfast, brunch and Lunch

Been back to DOLLY'S after my last visit to Longfield and had another great breakfast I have to say it was excellent if I could give more stars I would Well done for being consistentDAVE L.

Love this cafe, we have always gone here for our fry ups! Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service.

Visited on. Sunday lunchtime and was surprised how popular the cafe appeared to be. I was with three friends and only popped in for a coffee. However, I also ordered toast which was very good with plenty of butter. The coffee was good and hot and quick service. The whole place was very clean and prices were very reasonable. The other meals I noticed at other tables were the usual basic cafe food but plenty of it and it looked tasty. I would certainly recommend Dolly's Diner for a quick snack or something a bit more substantial if you are looking for basic cafe fare.

I came out of LONGFIELD station feeling a bit peckish and opposite I saw a cafe which is DOLLYS DINER I thought coffee and a sandwich would be nice ..Once inside the smell of bacon sizzling away got the better of me I orderd a full english breakfast with a few extras ..after a short wait it arrived at the table along with the toast that came with it I tucked in I must say it goes along with the best breakfast I have eaten DOLLY'S DINER is a must if your in the area..DAVE L.

Came in here today, not bad, friendly staff. Was able to trade a tea/coffee for an orange juice with my Dolly's calorie counter breakfast. No co endive but not amazing food either.

Dollys has had a complete re-fur and is clean bright and welcoming. Food is hot and fast large variety if meals but the large breakfasts and the most popular.

Staff were pleasant enough. My tea was like drinking hot dish water, very weak and no taste. I ordered a cooked breakfast, bacon, egg, sausage, beans and chips. The sausages were flat and awful, beans very dry but bacon and egg were ok. Went to the toilet and it was not very hygienic. I cannot understand how they have had a 5* Hygiene rating. Wont be going there again in a hurry.

We first ate here when we had adult relatives from abroad staying with us, and we wanted to treat them to a full English before 'doing' London. We were impressed with the fast and pleasant service and the quality of the food served - it was hot and exactly as we had ordered, and there was plenty of it. We have returned there since then, to find the service just as efficient and friendly. My only reservation was that when we popped in for a quick lunch, I was not impressed with the spaghetti bolognaise. However, this is not an Italian restaurant, so that was understandable!

Eaten here a few times now and service and food never let's us down. There is a huge selection of food to choose from. Very quick service and good portions.

We have eaten here many,many times and consider this to be one of the best places that we have been to, particularly for breakfast although lunch is equally good. We have eaten here as a family and a couple (usually Friday a.m.), The meals have always been well cooked, hot and delivered by friendly, happy staff. It is always immaculate and has a 5* Hygeine Rating but personally I would struggle with the Full Monty Breakfast. Dolly's has two advantages for those travelling into the area- there is a busstop right outside the door and Longfield Station opposite. Strongly suggest paying a visit confident that you will return!

Have eaten here many times. Especially after weekly shop at waitrose!! Staff very friendly and food can't be faulted. My grandchildren often go there for their Sunday breakfast!!!
