The service was awful. We had to go to the bar to find someone to take our order. The 4 starters came with no garnish and looked unappetising. I've never seen such small screwed up pieces of calamari. The halumi chips were tiny and dry. The mains were no better. Served on a cold plate so the steaks were cold before they reached the table. Even the side of onion rings were cold. We didn't risk desert, the service was so slow it was bed time!

This beefeater is the best I have stayed at in ages the staff a really friendly and the food is really nice a special shout out to Alex for great hospitality

The customer service was absolutely amazing the bar staff are very kind,polite,helpful Alex has been helpful the past few weeks we have been here he has been amazing pours a great pint would 100% recommend this place to everyone food is also amazing the flavours are mouth watering best munch I've ever tasted in my life at a pub restaurant {if anybody is reading this review get your self down to the beefeater}

Excellent service, food was spot on and the atmosphere was nice. Food was delivered hot, which is a plus now days, waiter took extra time with the 3 year old

We went out for a family meal and was served by the wonderful Graham, as always giving great friendly service and providing a bit of banter on the way. we apologise for you know who. We often get great service from Graham when we get him serving us

Terrible service, waitress had attitude after serving a cocktail without prosecco, simply explaining they ran out of it. They changed our table 3 times. Not going back

I'm not sure what has happened at The Beacon but as a regular visitor to various beefeater restaurants this was rated in my top 3 unfortunately based on this meal its standards seem to be failing Two people for dinner, first person ordered, second said I'll have the same please, no question of choice of chips fries etc, 30 mins later food was delivered, (after sitting under heat lamp for over 10 mins), one with fries one with chips, when questioned why they were different the server stated they had put the order in with the two different options, would we like one replaced, no was the answer as the wait was long and we wanted to eat together. As we had steak samplers each a quarter of each piece of steak was inedible fat or gristle, this isn't considered acceptable in my book when the steaks are so small Finished our meal and decided to leave and asked for the bill, after a 15 min wait this arrived and luckily we checked the bill as we was charged for three meals. when questioned as in there's only 2 of us reply again was the servers mistake, upon receiving the corrected bill 5 mins later we were also given another customers loyalty card. As we were ready to pay when the bill arrived we still had to wait 10 more minutes before payment was taken

Lovely food. Polite servers. Food arrives hot and fresh and the breakfast service is wide and delicious. Not too long of a wait considering the food is fresh. Impressive since this location is attached to the premier inn (where we stayed for 4 days). Ate here for 3 nights and 2 breakfasts. Never disappointed. A little loud but to be expected during busy times as it is similar in atmosphere to a Greenstoned or Wetherspoons.

Excellent food . We had the beefeater beacon combo with side garlic prawns. It was great. Our server Graham was very accommodating as well.

Someone thought having 4 servers for a very busy Friday evening was a great idea. It took a while to be seated and should have known then really it wasn’t going to get better, provided an extremely slow service. We got the 2 courses for £20, but it took that long to get someone’s attention we didn’t order dessert because we had a little one with us, yet they still charged us when they should of just charged for the main course. Couldn’t get anyone’s attention and to get the bill, we tried for 10 minutes and then gave up and walked to the bar. Shame really as the food was alright for the price.

Stayed at the Premier Inn Dartford for work. The food and drinks were fab but what made the evening was the service by Somerset. Super friendly and delightful!

What a wonderful way to start the day, happy and warm welcoming to what is going to be a long day. A big thank you to Leah who greeted us early in the morning and helped to make the experience excellent.

We used this while staying at the Premier Inn for the weekend, the food was lovely and the staff were so friendly and welcoming and more than happy to help with anything. Special shout out to Somerset and Kylah for always being so welcoming as the first face you see when you walk in, and took the time to engage with you, credit to the company.

Popped in for a spur of the moment lunch. Had amazing service by Somerset and some amazing food cooked by Paul. Great mid week pick me up.

The whole team are absolutely amazing. It's our local and we're always popping in. Kylah and Alex from the bar are wonderful and efficient. Nikki, Graham and amber in the restaurant are very attentive

7 o'clock in the morning, the food was nice,and hot

Fifth time we have been to The Beacon and the fourth time there was no roast left at 6.00pm. Went for The Steak & Ale which was no better than what is served at Weatherspoons for half the price and a lot smaller portion than last time and have obviously changed their pie supplier. No draught ale on either so overall not the greatest experience. Can't fault the staff but will not be going back in a hurry.

Popped in for some lunch before heading off to the airport. We beat the lunchtime rush, facilities were clean and well maintained, service and staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good, nice size portions and was bought out in a good time. Overall was a good visit and will definitely use again when I'm next in the area.

We visited on Monday for my nans 101st birthday! Becca was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, couldn’t have asked for a better host! Food was really tasty! My fillet steak was cooked to perfection (rare) thank you Mark! And everyone enjoyed their meals! Family of 7! Thank you. Even better. 25% off the meal with a taste card!

Nice friendly staff, food ok but limited menu options and a bit pricey, not keen on the music being played in there now , I go for a meal to meet any talk to people not listen to adverts on Heart 80's

Food was not quite cooked but a couple of items had been there for a while and weren't very appealing

Fantastic service from Kylah. Great food and great atmosphere.

A bit of a US diner feeling, good service and quite tasty for moderate prices. Opportunities to sit outside (drinks only). Modern, cozy interior. It was also well attended in the middle of the week. Not a typical pub but a better menu and no sticky floor or messy toilet. Everything very clean.

I ordered grilled salmon with veggie rice, now this is something I eat regularly at home so I don’t understand why it was so oily both the salmon and the rice which left a weird sort of greasy film feeling in my mouth. Dessert was fine but I had the chocolate torte so not anything requiring cooking. I did wait a while between courses but they were quite busy so that’s to be expected I suppose. Pretty unremarkable unfortunately.

Great early evening meal with good choice of wines and other alcoholic drinks as well as soft drinks. Lovely steaks cooked as requested and the restaurant wasn't too busy, so we dined in a fairly quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Kylah served us this evening and although she's very busy with other tables and staff members, was very friendly and helpful.

We have Sunday Lunch every 5/6 weeks when we visit my partners 86 year old brother John, who walks with two support sticks. We all really enjoy the roast lunch. Meat served pink or well done, as preferred, vegetable fresh and perfectly cooked. Good gravy, roast potatoes and yorkshires. Great Sticky Toffee pudding. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful with us all especially John. Most enjoyable for us all. It’s a 150 mile drive to visit John, we stay overnight at the adjoining Premier Inn

The server, Amber, could not have been better, so attentive, making sure everything was OK and making sure we always had refillable drinks topped up, such a credit to the business

This was my second visit to The Beacon and bought my kids along for some dinner. We sat in the bar area which was really comfortable and nice atmosphere, the guy at the bar was really friendly and helpful. The food came out in a reasonable time and hot. We finished off with some puddings which the kids really enjoyed. Will definitely be returning.

Amber took care of us and our food was amazing! Took a bit of time, but was worth the wait!

Saff work really hard to make you feel welcome

Every time we asked for more drinks. we had to ask again after around 10 minutes wait. They also just chucked the food onto the table when it arrived. Chips arrived cold, and the halloumi fries were ok to say the least. Would not come back here again

Alex and Amber at the bar are fantastic. Alex always greets us as we walk in making us feel very welcome. We are here every week. Some weeks we eat some we don't but food is great when we do

We Breakfast here when we stay at the Premier Inn. The staff are lovely. Always very helpful. Breakfast is good, always plentiful, and hot. Clean, and nothing is too much trouble, despite being very busy.

We came to beefeater while we were waiting for the car service, we were contemplating eating here but one of the very helpful employees, Leah, directed us on the best way to go about eating here. Amazing service.

Service was slow. Waited almost an hour for our food and the orders were mixed up. Some of the items we wanted on the menu were not available. The chicken burgers was over cooked and dry. The fries was cold and hard. The staffs was a bit rude when asking a question.

We love this place! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and chefs. Reasonably priced and delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.

Friendly and helpful staff member felt like she was really keen to help. Took us a little while to get served but that seemed like it was probably not enough staff on. Food was decent although I found the menu abit cluttered tbh. Free refills on some drinks is a plus

It had been a long day.. I came straight from my brothers funeral to the hotel and wasn't in the best frame of mind.. I needed to eat as I hadn't eaten all day.. I arrived late and the restaurant was very busy.. I didn't think theyd be able to seat me as I couldnt see an empty table.... They did seat me... I can't thank Nikki my Waitress and the rest of the Team enough for providing tasty, well cooked, piping hot food with efficiency and a smile.. I really needed it at the end of today. Thank you very much.

6 of us family members went for an evening meal on a Thursday night. We were all pleased with our food and enjoyed our mains and desserts. Nicky served us and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Only small change I'd make is the parking machine to enter car registrations is too far back from the car park door entrance and we only noticed it when leaving.

Excellent service by Lumy who was very attentive and friendly; also I will like to thank to the chefs Chris and George who cooked our dinner to perfection on a busy night! Recommend!

Lumi our waitress was delightful, so smiley and happy and efficient. Generally staff seemed welcoming and happy. Starter cheesy chips with bacon were lovely and we shared between two. We had sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked (medium) tender and tasty. Mixed grilled vegetables lovely too. We were staying in premier inn so this was nearest restaurant for dinner and I was not expecting it to be so good, would eat here again.

Popped In for the first time today with family. Lovely beefeater! Good service, nice food and friendly staff. Bryan from the kitcen and gave our toddler a couple of chips to keep her going after she very loudly said she was hungry moments after walking in.

Food was ages coming, and cold, offered a discount from Alex the manager of 25% which is admirably from himself, however compromised payment isn’t what you expect when eating out, come on Guys,!

Very poor front of house table booked for 19.45 got seated had normal menu selection, not great table service, and then got my bill and found food on there I didn't even order which added £17.49 to my bill, which was kind of rectified but still wrong couldn't be bothered to argue only positive was a 40% voucher

Brian the Chef cooked my steak to perfection as in burnt which is how I like it and cannot find a chef who can do it properly that is until Brian brilliant mate loved it thank you 😀

I had my mums wake at the beacon. We was a party of 25 and they accommodated it very well and i will say they made it very easy for us. Great service at the bar and our server. The food came out quick and hot. i had the steak sampler and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you.

Feel this beefeater struggles to provide good food in a reasonable time frame. They always have lack of staff & even taking our order took ages. Our main courses (lasagna + burger) were both disappointing. Didn't have dessert and wanted to get out of there asap. Definitely gone down hill as had eaten here previously during 2023. Sadly has put us off and haven't eaten here again.

Stayed within the premier inn next door and got a meal deal voucher from them for the beefeater , ordered chicken wings starter and fish and chips for my main . Issue 1 , waited 20 minutes still no starter noticed a table next to me with wings that he hadn’t ordered and was touching them , mentioned to the waitress who stated don’t know my job is to just put them on a table , said table with wings sent them back . Issue 2 main meal arrived which was a poor sized piece of fish small dollop of mushy peas and a few chips all of which where Luke warm ( still no starter ) . Started to complain and starters turn up cold and not fresh I’m sure the ones sent back that had been mauled by other table ????. Issue 3 fish had bones in supposed to be fillet haddock battered not nice and put me off immediately. Complained to bar manager about whole process not even bothered offered no alternatives or apology. Breakfast in morning was no better . Dried up breakfast items all luke warm . Next time I’ll definitely eat elsewhere or order takeaway.

I spent Easter Sunday at beefeater & it was absolutely incredibly!! Xanthe made fabulous drinks all day, she was child friendly so lovely. Nikki served us food & was polite & friendly excellent with the kids & Izzy was funny & full of Irish charm. As a family we had the best time & we will be back again. Thank you 🐣🥰

Staff very friendly in reception. Restaurant, food was lovely. Had the chicken and ribs combo, came out hot and was very tasty. Staff gave excellent service on the Friday evening and also on the Sunday when we went for Sunday lunch.

This is the second time we have been served by Graham. He was very helpful and very friendly. He is an asset to your team. The food and drink were also fabulous. It is so nice to have you as our local.

Such a shame as the Premier Inn part of the experience was superb, but as every item in the cooked breakfast was cold (quite an achievement!) I won't be back.
