Great being attached to the Premier Inn. Staff were great. Very friendly.

Made a reservation for opening time 12 noon, waited15 minutes before a waitress asked us why we were waiting!! Then seated in bar area for 10 minutes before being shown to the restaurant, gave our orders and waited another 30 minutes before food arrived. Good selection but food served barely warm, had to ask for it to be reheated. Roast potatoes, vegetables and batter puddings obviously reheated from the night before, I didn't eat any chicken just in case it had also been reheated. Good selection of desserts but overall a disappointing family lunch. Definitely would not return.

Ate here as we were staying in the premier in for the night, staff were great, dinner was really good and so was the breakfast buffet! It added to our sneaky night away for sure!

Brilliant lunch and service from Somerset and chef James who cooked my steak to perfection thank you most chefs won't cook my steak as very very well done as I like it so thank you it was brilliant 😀

Great Service. Alex greeted and seated us at a nice table.. Kyla looked after our food order and was excellent. You won't get a better pint of Stella here, Poured superbly by Abigail, who could hold a master class on the perfect pour. George was everywhere, bar, waiting, assisting in the kitchen. Great atmosphere, helped by fantastic customer service and a "happy to do" approach. Well done gang...

We were served again, by Becca and the food was cooked by George. Again, both Becca and George are a Credit to Beefeater. Made the whole experience really enjoyable Very friendly and attentive - well done both of you ... Highly recommended.

First time having breakfast here and all I can say is it was absolutely delicious. The food was lovely and tasted amazing. Although it was a little busy it didn't take long to get your food and where we were sat was lovely. The lady who seated us was lovely and all the staff were friendly. My two children enjoyed the food very much.

I have been staying at the hotel next door through the week for the last few months and eat here daily and Abbey behind the bar has been a great personality and very welcoming

We sat for 40 minster before waitress came to speak to us, ordered food after a further 20 minutes then waited over a hour for food to arrive at the table. There were quite a few items not available on the menu.

I've used this restaurant a lot and have always had a great experience. The staff are friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble and they always check if anyone has any food allergies. Their Sunday lunch is a favourite of mine. Or from the main menu I would recommend any of their steaks, the chargrilled fillet of salmon or the rack of ribs. I haven't tried their burgers yet but fully intend to soon. Also they have recently added a new side dish: grilled veg with asparagus which is delicious. As for dessert, I love the Biscoff sundae and the sticky toffee pudding. Also they have a free car park for diners - just remember to tell them your number plate on arrival. Bon appetite!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at your Beefeater franchise. It was our first time visiting, and I unfortunately cannot recall the name of the friendly waitress who greeted us so warmly.

If you want atmosphere....do not come here..I would compare this place a wetherspoons without the atmosphere....If you are thinking of going here...bin the idea...this place is dead.. I went here start of Jan... Issue 1 - the whole restaurant was closed and had to eat in the bar area.... Issue 2 - no table service...had to order at the bar... Issue 3 - so cold had to eat with coats on Issue 4 - What appeared to be 25% of menu unavailable Issue 5 - lifeless and soulless Would never come back here...would have complained and asked for my money back but the group I was with do not like to complain... Only reason I can see to come here is if you are staying in the nearby hotel and cannot be bothered to make search for a decent alternative restaurant.. Beefeater...please contact me and provide a refund...!!!

£75 for the worse meal I have ever had. Never coming back to this place again. Chicken strips were cheap nasty chicken. Asda does better. As for the ribs and chicken combo. Chicken was 1/4 of a breast. Dry as sand. Rib’s were over cooked. Chicken wings again cheap. I wish I never went else where. But it was late and no choice.

Overall the food was "okay" with the service non existent for breakfast (no clearing of plates). The selection for the buffet breakfast was also quite basic.

Terrible food looked like it came from a mobile burger van! The burger was rubbish and I had a handful of frozen fries like a takeaway would give you. Worst part is I paid nearly £20! Won’t be coming here ever again

Great unlimited self service cooked and continental breakfast for anyone staying at the adjoining Premier Inn. Friendly staff, frequently restocked food, and all the options you'd expect.

Unfortunately it was a shocking meal. There was a limited menu, which we didn’t have a problem with as we were warned before we sat down. We had a booking at 5:15pm and we got there a bit early, sitting down at 5:00. Ordered at 5:10, why am I telling the times, because we left after 7:00pm, it took too long. It wasn’t overly busy but the lovely server a gentleman with white Tshirt and an open black shirt. Didn’t stop, he couldn’t do enough. Unfortunately the kitchen was having a shocking night. Starters came with no problems, then it went down hill. We watched our food sit under the heat lamp for 15 minutes, which meant the steak that should have been medium rare was over cooked. There was no sauces for the steak available, that didn’t tell us until it arrived. We sent the steak back, which meant the rest of the family had finished by the time the steak was cooked. The steak meal was so salty it couldn’t be enjoyed. Ordered dessert for the Christmas pudding to arrive with no brandy sauce, by this point we had been there two hours and the kids were past it. It wasn’t just us that was having a poor meal, unfortunately food was being sent back all over the restaurant. You could see the server was struggling with the kitchen poor quality and poor communication. It didn’t help that we were sat by the pass and could see all the food sat there. At one point the manager came to the pass why there was one meal just sat there, and where the rest of the order was. Didn’t really address the situation then disappeared. The server was almost pleading with the kitchen to sort it out but they really didn’t care. Unless the kitchen staff change, I would avoid.

We visited for our Christmas Day Dinner. We received a very warm welcome. Food portions were very generous. Turkey, Steak and beef cooked to perfection. Just missing a steak sauce. Compliments to Chef George and his Team. Our waitress Kylah was great and nothing was too much trouble. See you next year!

I had a large booking made for the 22nd of December and for the 24th of December. I received an email advising that the menu would be limited due to a leak at the suppliers. I called today to see whether they knew what food would be available on the menu so that I could advise my party. The woman who answered the phone was irritated from the start. She didn’t respond well to my questions and rented and raved about how hard they were working. She let slip that they had known about the problem for over three weeks but were only advising people now. obviously I was rather annoyed by this, as it’s the week before Christmas it will be impossible to rebook somewhere else. She did not take well to this criticism and started ranting and raving again about how it was not her fault if Whitbread didn’t do this or that I advised her I was the customer and I didn’t care. I just wanted to know what food was available. She then carried on being unprofessional so I said thanks for the help. you’re obviously rather unhappy and I put the phone down on her. She has then gone onto cancel both my bookings without my permission just to be spiteful. What a thing to do at Christmas to a long-term customer.

The service staff were very polite and welcoming. Ordered the worst latte, had to give it back. Limited selection of food due to supplier issues but when ordering smothered chicken, the chicken had been cut in half long ways by the looks of it, not much smothering in BBQ source, cheese or Bacon, very disappointed. Desert on the other hand was very nice. Overall, can't recommend in it's current state, improvements to the food can be made.

We arrived and was told that not all the items on the menu was available and was given a printed sheet what items we could get, the waiter showed us to our table and he took our drink order. When the drinks came over we were ready to order our meals, we started with a prawn cocktail each which was very nice, the chef looked over a couple of times to see if we had finished our starter as all the food is cooked openly, once finished the chef came over to inform us that our meal would be coming out very soon and would we like any sauces. My wife had the mixed grill and l had the surf and turf, we both like the steak med to well done and that was exactly how it was it was cooked to perfection every bite was juicy, it is a long time ago that a steak has come out as we like it, most times blood still running out and red inside but these were excellent. I went over to say thank you to the chef and told him how we enjoyed the meal.

Booked table for 2 last night arrived to the restaurant to found out that they only have 5 thinks on the menu mostly stake !!! Very disappointed as no mention of this when book the table . Definitely would not recommend or come back in the near future.

Only the second time at this specific Premier Inn, with several years between the stays. Service from Alex and the team has been great. Travelled 8 hours from the Lakes for work to get here, and from the minute go, service has been ace. Food was quick and good. Service at the bar has been exceptional, and Alex has been a diamond with the flow of beverages. Great team on the night and cannot fault service. A number of Whitbread/ Beefeater sites could take note from this one.

Stopped at the premier Inn next door Went to get food while waiting to be seated the a member of staff was on the till she didn't even acknowledge me(which is fine) but 2 other customers came up and she delt with them first. The second customer said to the women I was first she rolled her eyes and then acknowledged me. I ordered takeaway instead as I just found it very rude and would rather not give them my money if that's the attitude

Been sitting for half hour been ignored by staff finally did get served felt like we was in the way don’t go if in a hurry or are dying of thirst 🤨

Great service from Alex as usual. I’ve been visiting the Beacon whilst staying at the Dartford Premier Inn for around 3 months now and Alex and Lumi are always welcoming and helpful.

Service was quick, food was good and the lovely Michela friendly, always smiling and deserves a pay rise for being great at busy times.

We keep visiting beefeater at least once a month. We always go for the Beacon combo. The ribs were good. Our server Alex was excellent

Overall a pleasurable experience, food and service was good.

I had surf and turf with a fillet steak. It was cooked perfectly. Also indulged in sticky toffee pudding with custard which was very nice. The service here is prompt and friendly, the person who served me, Somerset, was lovely.

Great way to celebrate a birthday

Been here many times but must say the food served on this visit was the best for some time. And server Lumi was excellent, she gave brilliant speedy service with a smile . Well done Beefeater and Lumi .

Portion sizes have got very small here, compared to other beefeater.

Great steak as always. Lumi as well as Grahame looked after me today. Unusual for me to be here on a Sunday. Busy and fun atmosphere. Usually a Monday traveller with Lumi guessing my order. Thank you guys

Visiting from Australia and stayed at the Premier Inn. This Beefeater has the lot, good food and excellent staff. The breakfast in the mornings are brilliant, and Rebecca has been amazing, greeting us with a smile. She works tirelessly but still finds time to chat. The evening meals have a wide selection, and the food is excellent. Graham always treated us with politeness.

Brilliant. Jamie the barman was very nice to us and was fantastic with the kids….and John; was very polite with us and let us borrow a pen and paper to play a game. Our waiter was great as was getting involved with the game and kind. Service was fast and food was delicious.

I recently enjoyed breakfast at this spot, and wow, what an experience! The server who booked us in was super polite and friendly, really setting the tone for a great start to the day. The full English was piping hot and cooked to perfection—everything you’d want in a breakfast. It was also a treat to see black pudding on the menu. The sausages were plump, meaty, and delicious; the hash browns had a perfectly crisp outer layer with a moist inside. A great bonus is that kids eat free with one paying adult. And yes, they’ve got HP sauce! 👌 Would highly recommend!

Stopped with work, so dinner for one. It's a busy hotel and restaurant, so the service suffers a little in speed (staff are friendly though, if not a little rushed). Food was good though, so can't complain really. Back again with work.....food was spot on, but worthy mention of Alex who was serving and doing FOH - top marks. Give the man a raise!

Visited on a Sunday evening at 6.30. Disappointed that on arrival we’re told they have no ice cream and no burgers due to trouble with supplier. I travel for work and have noticed the beefeaters in the north have changer to premier inn restaurants we would like to know if this is the reason supplies are low. ?

Stayed in the Dartford Premier Inn for 3 nights whilst we were attending BSB at Brands Hatch. The staff were nothing but rude. One of the team came down for breakfast and was asked if he booked a table, he told them he hadn’t. He was then spoken to like absolute rubbish and said he just book a table and they don’t know if they could fit him in, to which he said he didn’t know if we would have time to get breakfast in the morning, hence why we didn’t book. The woman huffed at him and pointed at a table for him to sit at. We then returned to the hotel the same evening to go and get some food, we came in and asked for a table for 3, to which we were then left stood for 10 minutes, the manager then came over and told us he wasn’t taking anymore people in tonight because he has no clean cutlery and no free tables, to which we could see several tables free. We explained that we wouldn’t mind waiting we were turned away. We then went to the bar and got a drink. Around 10 minutes later two groups of people came in and were asked if they had bookings, they responded no and were then taken to tables. After a very long day of being on our feet we just wanted some warm food and a couple of drinks, but were turned away. The service in this place is extremely disappointing, and I would definitely not return again.

Yes, it's just a Beefeater tacked onto a Premier Inn but I had a really great dinner with friendly, efficient service. The waiter even convinced me to buy a bottle of wine when I ordered my first large glass! Delicious food and plenty of it.

I always know It's always going to be a brilliant experience when Graham is our waiter. He has memorize our orders to a tee, always reassuring for both my daughters, father and myself, and nothing is ever too much, he always accommodates my father who is disabled and goes above and beyond for us. Always smiley, kind and happy to help and generally someone you can really get along with and feel safe in, always mindful of the customer. Along with the bar staff, Liz to name a few, whom is always a light that appears at our table, both are ready for chat while being completely professional and accommodating. Nothing is ever too much. We live in Essex and only ever come over to Kent for our meals with the beefeater simply down to the fact of the fantastic staff that are there otherwise we wouldn't. We all look forward to booking a meal with the Beacon simply down the staff. The food is always enjoyable and the atmosphere is usually kept to a minimum with low noise disruption, with myself and my daughter's being neurodivergent, austism and ADHD aids haven't been needed, today for example I wasn't able to regulate myself in a very busy place but as soon I got to the beacon I was welcomed by staff that put myself at ease. Vegan options for myself is so accommodating and sometimes able to be changed to requirements if needed. Somewhere we would all come time and time again and it's mostly down to the staff that is employed, always an enjoyment to be here. Thank you

The service was awful. We had to go to the bar to find someone to take our order. The 4 starters came with no garnish and looked unappetising. I've never seen such small screwed up pieces of calamari. The halumi chips were tiny and dry. The mains were no better. Served on a cold plate so the steaks were cold before they reached the table. Even the side of onion rings were cold. We didn't risk desert, the service was so slow it was bed time!

Lovely staff and amazing choices for breakfast

Had a meal here tonight with my wife. The food was great, the atmosphere was great but the star of the show was Alex, our server, even though he seemed to be on his own for at least half our visit, he managed to keep things running smoothly, top man.

The food was very good. Fabulous service by Somerset. Despite being run off her feet she made sure we had everything that we wanted and we felt well looked after.

Reserved a table for Sunday got there a hour before had a drink when eventually got served. 1 bar staff 2 server's and the chef.. taking to many bookings whilst understaffed plus several other customers being told over a hour wait for a table who aslo booked waited nearly 2 hours with my 5 year old grandson walked out in the end

Beacon Beefeater is a quiet sombre place to enjoy a meal and drink while relaxing after a day's work. The barstaff especially Alex are friendly and helpful and are always on hand to serve with a smile
