The best restaurants serving Default food in Ashley Green, Latimer and Chenies Chiltern South East

Had a great dinner here with Friends. Padron peppers as an appetiser followed by the Beef & Ale pie and the the Apple & Pear crumble with hot custard. All in all a lovely meal for a very reasonable price. The rest of the party had steaks or salmon with everyone saying how good the food was. Will definitely return

The food was good and the staff were friendly. My only issue was putting a massive sign outside claiming to have a fixed price menu and a website that said that it was available Monday to Friday and then not serving it on a Monday lunchtime. Kids menu was good.

Nice village pub, food looked really good but unfortunately didn't have time to try. Lots of friendly dogs also!

It is closed, no longer a Pub, in process of trying to be a nursery. The locals are trying to stop this as it is one of the last oldest Pubs in the area. What a shame

We had the most amazing Sunday roast at The Crown, Ley Hill and would highly recommend it! 🍽️ We visited as a family of four, and everything—from the warm welcome to the delicious food—was just perfect. The roast was cooked to perfection, with generous portions, beautifully crispy roast potatoes, and rich, flavorful gravy. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxed family meal. If you’re looking for a top-notch roast in a lovely pub setting, this is the place to go! I have not been to the Swan for a very long time so thought it was an ideal opportunity to visit over the fathers day weekend. The meal was lovely the service very good but my only comment is we had to ask for the menu after waiting for a short time other than is it was great.

My first time eating at The Bedford arms for several years despite living locally. 5 of us met for lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Super service in a really lovely setting. Look forward to going again soon.

Visited the pub many times, only for drinks and usually late afternoon whilst one of my children has a party at the village hall. good selection of drinks, lovely small village pub, warm, welcoming and good choice of tables to sit at or the bar.

Popped in on the off chance and was offered the 5 course blind menu what a pleasant surprise Chris treated us to one of the best value for money meals I've had in a long time recently launched. Have been here before but this is new team made us feel very welcome will defiantly go back

2 people running a bar with 10 people in it. Dry, overpriced food, warm white wine, dog mess in the garden, glasses and old used plates of half eaten food lying around. Makes one sad to be English.

We had dinner booked for Saturday evening. (18th) The restaurant did not enough staff to reflect the needs of the paying customers. Took far too long to take our drinks orders, too long to clear near by tables- left for over 30 minutes. Steak was very nice but not to order- cooked too much for a medium rare. Sticky toffee pudding arrived stone cold in the middle. This was sent back. Staff were very busy, running around. They were all pleasant and helpful- but run ragged. Not the vibe I would expect when we pay so much for the food. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a dinner service. We paid £170 Breakfast in the morning was a pleasant experience. Lots of staff on hand and food was nice.

Simple order.. 2 x ciabatta one,, with chips both with salad dressing separate...1 x sandwich with chips . Four times I read it to the lady at the till. When served so many errors. No crisps on one plate, only one chips, only one salad dressing . No ap[ology or refund offered, we just had to wait for them to correct it all How hard can it be they undo this day in and day out.Unbelievable!!
