Heard about this place through a friend. Had a great time and the food was fantastic, the staff were happy and couldn't help enough. We ordered a sharing platter and asked if they could add another place to it, which was no bother at all. The food was delicious and VERY plentiful!!!. After our meal, we were invited to see the smoker units and meet the owner. He was a very personable chap and gave us a good insight to how the food is cooked. It's that personal touch a lot of restaurants need to embrace that Triple BBBs are well ahead of. Can't wait to go back.
We ordered a delivery and with dominoes you expect decent food but last week the food was poor with hardly any cheese and 5 pieces of chicken on a large pizza very disappointing
We recieved 2 of the munch boxes from fry guy, it was the first time I had ordered from here, the staff were friendly and polite, food was delivered within the time stated. The munch boxes were delicious! We recieved a choice of a burger or chicken burger, and a choice of chicken strips or wings with your chosen sauce, if you like spice like me, try the naga sauce it was so good! Then you recieve kebab meat, loads of fries and onion rings. It is excellent value and portion size. The kebab meat was very tasty with its own distinctive flavour, and the burger was lovely with a fresh roll. I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again, the wraps sound really good also, if you haven't checked out their menu I reccomend it.
Thanks Chris bro :)
I came in to order a bunch of pizzas for people working on election day and I appreciated Chris bro being humble to me when I felt speechless.
Raza :)
This takeaway should be avoided at all costs!!!
When the food was delivered the bag was dripping wet with what, we're not sure. It was a combination of grease and maybe water?
The bread with the lamb doner kebab was wet and soggy and the meat was cut into small pieces and inedible.
The lamb shish kebab was completely cold and the meat was tough and inedible and the bread was hard.
The chips had obviously been warmed up as they were hard and also inedible.
We called the restaurant to complain and the staff were very unhelpful.
The food was totally disgusting and unacceptable and they shouldn't be in business.
It cost £26.00 as they charged £5 for delivery - outrageous.
Disappointing. Asked for vegan sausage roll as displayed, none available. No other vegan options at all. Had a sweet potato, feta and spinach pie instead, absolutely no spinach, advised the staff who told me “that’s what’s come from the bakery I can’t open every one to see if there is any spinach in them”. Fire alarm screaming for ages, advised that there was a fault but it wasn’t cleared because of preparation of food. Cheese toasty so hard it could not be cut with a knife and greasy, not good. Such a shame as the ethos was promising.
Until recently this cafe provided excellent hone made panini’s and soups as well as hone made cakes. I would have rated 5 stars. However, the food is still OK but they have stopped a lot of the home made stuff in favour of brought in products which are not as good as their hone made offering.
NB The previous owner has gone and it’s no longer the Jahan Kitchen – it’s now run by different people – and the negative reviews refer to the previous guy (who left July/Aug 2024).
The food at Panna Kitchen is superb. I’ve never had a mainstream madras or tikka masala from there – but I’ve had a number of their specialist dishes – the Railway Chicken Curry, Bengal Naga, Chicken Makhani – and they are ruddy fantastic.
There is literally no comparison in value for money between Panna Kitchen and other curry houses – they absolutely stuff their food boxes. The sheer weight of them tells you. One rice box does at least three people!
Compared to The Shenai? You’re joking! A little while ago, I ordered a butter chicken and naan bread from The Shenai, takeaway, and it was £16.90! Split it between two of us and it was nowhere near a meal – both hungry afterwards.
From Panna Kitchen, I got a railway curry, rice, naan bread and a bombay aloo, they gave a discount and it came to £16.50 – and THREE of us were stuffed afterwards. And they gave a few free poppadums as well.
& the food quality was absolutely brilliant!
The difference between the two is mental.
The Panna Kitchen might not be the most efficient nor quickest, bless ‘em, but they do glorious food and it’s EXCELLENT value!
Special choi mein I have used for many years and the dish today was appalling like mush no meats nothing !!! NOT the first time Never again poor poor poor
Ordered for collection on website , firstly the shop has the wrong name on the store , says they are open , no one’s open shutters are shut took money didn’t get food , can’t get through on the phone. had to go through bank to get refund
Visited today. We were early so not busy. Ordered on the electronics ordering system 2 full breakfasts. Tea arrived immediately and we were viewing the serving hatch. Ding went the bell. 3 people chatting a lady in black filled the rubbish bag and had a nice chat with the bell ringing contan̈tly. She turned out to be the server yes it was our breakfast. When it arrived I said it had been there rather a while and hoped it was not cold. She was rude denied the bell had been rung many times and said it was waiting for the egg. Actually she was raising her voice and stomped off. Needless to say the breakfasts were both cold dreadful cheap ingredients probably the worse sausage we had ever tasted. If we could give 0 for service and breakfast we would. Certainly avoid the cafe for food and Tesco you should up your game!
I am in shock how my parents were spoken to in tesco camberley the meadows
They went in for breakfast and the egg was raw so my mum sent it back along with beans being cold , and she was told to stop complaining , by the lady manager of the cafe.
So my dad said to her you’re in the wrong job if you can’t deal with the customers issues .
And would you believe she called the security on an 79 year old man
Disgusting tescos for employing such a rude woman
