If could give zero stars, I would! Cancelled the order despite accepting it with no issues 20mins before. A call would have been appreciated than now a very late dinner and disappointed birthday treat! Very poor, won’t ever entertain coming here in the future.

Delivery almost an hour later than promised. Food very disappointing, nothing like the flavours we expected. Shan’t be using them again.

Uber says 40 mins-1hr. Nearly 2 hours and still no food. Keep being told it's out for delivery when it obviously isnt

Avoid!!! Placed an order on Deliveroo at 6:30 in the evening and was told that I should receive the food within 40 mins as I was 4 miles away from the place. Around 8:00 pm I get a call The driver that the food would be delivered in the next 30 minutes then at 10:00 pm it said on the Deliveroo app that the food has been delivered but did not get the food at all. Worst place no one picks up the call and the driver was just terrible.

Have ordered a few time from here historically and it was ok. Ordered last night and they didn't include all the starters I paid for, the naan was burnt and the main I ordered had foul smelling chicken which wasn't edible. I phoned as soon as it was delivered to ask for the missing starter and they just don't answer their phone. Answer phone full so can't even leave a message. Don't order from here. Awful experience.

RUDE! Had a hiccup when placing my order on Uber eats so I called the restaurant to try and rectify the problem, the man on the phone was very rude and unhelpful and also just hung up on me. Will NOT be re ordering.

Awful experience. Ordered home delivery through Uber Eats. In the description of the curry we ordered it stated "comes with rice". No rice was included. Rang restaurant to be told "old menu" the the phone was hung up. Rang them again, they said "OK you complain Uber" and hung up again. Add to that the food was delivered late and cold. Avoid this restaurant. So many better Indian restaurants around.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! Waited over 3 hours for food, everytime I called they didn't answer. Eventually did answer after 2 hours of ringing to laugh at the phone and tell me its 10 mins away. Only for another hour to go by and avoid my calls again. They then completed the order on uber taking my money and the order never arrived. Bloody thiefs they are. Avoid at all costs

Ordered a curry to be delivered through Just eat Got an Acknowledged order from Just eat The order never arrived Jahan kitchen said there was no such order even though they sent an email saying the order was on its way So they took my money and nothing received. Just eat impossible to talk to and Jahan denied all knowledge. Never buy from them too much hassle and falsehoods

First time we've ordered from here and also the last. Delivery was late and the food very oily/greasy.

Ordered daal makhni, they instead gave us Yellow daal with chick peas in it. Then said "this is how we make daal makhni". Daal makhni isu favourite dish and never in my life I have seen yellow lentils daal makhni. Naans were so thick and under cooked. Tasteless food. On calling them, staff was argumentative and no apologies given. No refund. Will never visit again and will never recommend to anyone.

Indian food was nice. (Tikka masalla, chicken)The samosas was not very good at all. They Forgot our sauces although, we was in house and they promised not to forget, lol. Naan bread was beautiful 👌🏻

Rubbish guy on the phone, False claims and these guys will steal your money. Ordered through Uber, food worth +£40 Description say’s served with rice for some of our order and naan for the other one Did not receive it, instead of making things right, the guy says “next time when order…” does not matter about next time we need it now or give us our money back. Just disappointing to have dishonest places like this

Very dodgy I went in ordered my food then got asked if I had cash I said no I am paying buy card then got made to feel bad and told well there is a cash point over the road! I payed buy card and was charged nearly five pound more than the prices in the window? The first person to serve me could not even work the till and had to wait ten minutes for someone who could work the till to come. Very bad experience and the food was not great. I don’t know if it has changed owners but will not go back again. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I’ve ordered from here it’s been 30/40 minutes late and this evening my lamb vindaloo was spiceless and my sides were undercooked. Do not eat here.

Wish I could give zero, 2hr delivery, missing items, horrible communication to be told you're order is on its way and the shop only be 13 minutes away, but then it take another 45 minutes. I could of drove there and back wasted money any still hungry

Given one star because this is lowest score allowed on this site. Food was delivered in a state it can't be eaten, consumed or tasted. So the review is restricted to the state food was delivered. The only delivered food that can be eaten is onion bhaji. The bhaji is too greasy and resulted in stomach upset.

Ordered through just eat, took over an hour to get to us, when it did arrive it was cold, flavourless, poppadoms and naan bread stale, sauce watery. Would never order from here again, avoid at all costs

LAST time I’ll be choosing Jahan. Not particularly impressed. Took well over 2 hours to arrive and ruined a birthday celebration dinner. They called me after 1hr 20 mins to say it would be another 30 mins but took a further 45 mins. Offered me free courtesy onion bhajis because of the lateness which I gratefully accepted but they were actually missing from the delivery when it finally arrived. Curry tasted ok but quite oily, lots of sauce but not a very big meat portion. Overall rather disappointing.

Ordered last night via their website. Not used them before but was with a group of friends, many of which had used them previously without issue. Quoted 45 mins for delivery. Turned up 1h 30m mater. Tried to call the shop several times, but no answer. Call from driver to say he was outside the house. Went out, he wasn't. Reconfirmed the address (which was printed correctly on the receipt) and he arrived 7 minutes later. Food was OK, but cold. We were so hungry we ate it anyway and the shop was now closed so no recourse. Not much meat in the dishes, but lots of sauce. Won't be venturing there again.

We had a takeaway last night and never again. Tasteless, hardly any meat, stodgy rice. Cold side dishes.

Ordered via Just Eat ( Will probably never use them again after this experience) Driver didn't follow specific instructions . Food was terrible.... Popadoms were soft, rice was dry and clumpy ,one of the chicken dishes had only 4 small pieces of chicken. Lamb was tough as old boots and the Peshawari naan was inedible and resembled cardboard. I have had some good meals from Jahan in the past but this has put me off ever using them again.

Have previously enjoyed food at Jahan's but on this occasion, it was awful. Inedible dry, stale tasting peshwari nan, soft stale poppadoms. extremely tough lamb. 4 small pieces of chicken in butter chicken main course, stodgy rice.

I wouldn't even feed this to my dog.

Ordered via Just Eat {deleted my account and complained via trading standards}. Took over two and a half hours to deliver. Over one hor after agreed delivery time. Food was cold and items missing from delivery. i had to go to shop to. buy missing items. Don't order from them EVER.

I'm fussy with Indian food and been spoilt living in the Midlands where the competition is fierce, however got to say the food was a bit bland. Not great tikka chicken and lamb is hard and chewy. Shame as great menu and price but probably won't use again.

Order didn’t arrived this is f….n joke not restaurant

Don't even deserve one star, they didn't even attempt a delivery. Called the restaurant over 5 times and only responded to one where they said the delivery is leaving in about 2 mins. Half an hour later still nothing and they still won't pick the phone up. An hour after that making it a total of 2 and a half hours from ordering (the restaurant is less than 10 mins away, I am aware of multiple drops though) still nothing from them. No customer care at all and absolutely shockingly bad for straight up lying saying they were leaving shortly. Absolute joke highly recommend not ordering or going here, boycott this joke of a business and go elsewhere.

My recent experience was all round terrible: It took an hour and a half to be delivered, when it arrived the curry’s were all cold which we had to microwave and the naan's were soggy, When I was calling to discuss where our order was, I was consistently lied too saying it will be ‘another 10 minutes maximum’ which turned out to be 45 mins.

Dirty awful place and the reception is rude and not respecting customers

Still haven’t received refund despite returning food directly to store

Despite me returning food and being told I would receive refund I still haven’t, they also blamed deliveroo saying I needed to get my refund through them despite the portion sizes not being deliveroo’s fault. Also keep claiming the small portion sizes were because it was a starter which I acknowledged and was given the option if I wanted a refund when I returned food to store but have continued too refuse to refund me ever since - Avoid this place at all costs

Nothing to do with their food this review. Merely just the arrogance of the owner. I like to do the odd delivery on my push bike for Just Eat, here and there to make a bit of extra income, also in the hopes to do a bit extra for the community. I've done over 10+ deliveries for these guys and the sheer ignorance of the owner every time! Is enough to drive anyone crazy! It's ALWAYS the same angry comment about looking after his food whilst it's in transit. As if i would willingly make his food untidy for him? If he's not careful he will lose more couriers by doing so and then he will be stuck. Have never had a complaint about my deliveries. If I did? Well Just Eat would shut my app down.

Said left kitchen and on way. Did not arrive till nearly 45mins later yet 15mins down the road. Spoke to them on the phone that said one thing them another , then laughed at me which made me think and get annoyed. My food turned up and it was cold!! I am disgusted with what I paid for cold food. I would not recommend as they don't care if hot or cold and come up with all excuses. They speak to you like you are nothing and when you challenge them they don't like it. Just eat should re thinknwho they have on there books. As this one bad takeway

Used them once about two years ago. Can't even remember if the food was good or not - what I do know is that since then I get spam texts from them every now and again and I do not recall ever giving consent for this.

Good quality biryani. Size is also good enough foe two person sharing . Amazing biryani sauce

Really good Indian. I've struggled so much getting a good Indian takeaway arrive moving to the area and I'm really happy with this. Sea bass was exceptional. Railway lamb, mushroom rice and keena naan also on point. Highly recommended.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani, Lamb Tikka Rogan Josh, veg, rice and naan. All delivered on time and totally delicious. Could have fed 3-4 people and really good value. If you haven't tried Jahan Kitchen, give it a go as I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nice people but after we had ordered sat to wait and noticed how filthy the waiting room was. Greasy stained floor, cobwebs everywhere but it was the light fitting above our heads... disgusting doesn't get close . The 3 upturned glass shades are more than half full of dead fly's. If tgey dont clean the public area what is yhe kitchen like ? I strongly suggest you pop in before before ordering .

Below Average !!! Service & delivery is good with 10 minutes delay (acceptable in these pandemic times). Order: £18 including delivery. Chinese chicken fried rice, Chicken Tikka & Lamb Shashlik. Instead of Chinese Chicken Fried Rice, they gave us Chicken Biryani. Not bad and it tasted OK but more like rice with Chicken & Cardamom in it. Chicken Tikka & Lamb Shashlik were horrible. Too much oil dripping and so tasteless. Also, not seasoned and can taste the yogurt from the marinate.

The Biriyani was so greasy the oil was dripping down once I squeezed some in a fist, could not taste it at all, the keema naan had about 5% meat and the rest was bread, the salad was pathetic, old dried up lettuce and 2 slices of cucumber, the food tasted as if it was all refried from yesterday's leftovers which would explain how we ordered at 4pm, they opened at 4:30 and we got our food at 5pm, would give zero stars if I could, AVOID!

Terrible. Took nearly 2 hrs to arrive. Each time I phoned (in 20 min intervals)I was told the driver was on the way. (we are only 10 mins away) The veg rogan was nearly all potato with no flavour. The first time we have not eaten all the food. Definitely give it a miss.

Ordered 2 main curry dishes and a side of keema rice along with 2 peshwari naans. Not a large or difficult order, I even went to collect it as it said the delivery time would be 45-60 mins but collection would be 20 - this suggested they were busy. I arrived and it was empty and there was no sense of urgency as if to suggest orders were flying out. Anyway, got home only to find the order was completely wrong. The 2 main dishes were correct but instead of keema rice I got some weird vegetable dish and some potatoes? The main dishes lacked any form of protein, a king prawn curry in fact only contained 2 prawns, both of which had been cut up into about 5 pieces each. Absolutely terrible. The naan was bitty and overly sweet. For £30 I was taken aback as quite frankly that is daylight robbery! I will not order from here again. A real let down.

We love this place! Do not be fooled by the modest building...The food is unique and not generic Indian takeaway fare at all. They have some very interesting dishes and the food is always of a high quality. Recently they forgot a naan bread and came all the way back to deliver it! Lovely stuff

First time using and I ordered takeaway chicken butter masala, rice and peshawri naam. We collected. It came with complimentary poppadom and garnish. I normally base my ordering on reviews but on this occasion just went ahead and ordered and it was lovely. Portion was good, I could only eat half and saved rest for next day. I was more than happy. Will check out the 5* rating as on the sticker rear, it should be signed by HMO giving date of visit. It might have been a recent visit and not updated on fsa website. I would use again

I cannot comment on other views but would like to feedback on our experience. My husband had a curry, nan bread and rice and I just had chips. We tried them after having too many disappointing takeaways from other local places and we were actually impressed. Too early to tell as a regular for us but will be ordering again. My husband really enjoyed his meal and I tried his nan bread and have to say it was amazing. The bread was really light with a great texture, unlike others we have had. I suspect it is freshly made? The delivery was really fast and the delivery man was really pleasant and seemed really surprised and thankful when we gave a small tip. Overall good first experience.

I understand that this Jahan Kitchen Takeaway has not been in business for very long however they have a way to go before establishing themselves as a “must visit ” location. I decided to try them out and was disappointed at the outcome. The member of staff who greeted me was attentive and the order placed efficiently. They have produced a good quality menu although the picture on the front is dull and uninviting. Jahan Kitchen Indian Takeaway display level 5 Food Hygiene Rating on the menus and window. I was unable to find a listing on the official web site. They need to follow that through urgently. The food took time to cook and that is understandable. The waiting area was basic and sparse. No effort had been made to make you feel welcome. It lacked atmosphere . During the time I waited for my order a phone call was received from customers complaining that the incorrect dishes had been delivered. Such a situation should never occur and it reflects the lack of organisation and attention to detail necessary in the kitchen. I regret that I did not enjoy my meal. It was luke warm and I was extremely disappointed. I always try to support local enterprise however the Jahan needs to go back to basics and get that right . I fear that if they ignore feedback they will not survive in a highly competitive market place.

Dry stringy chicken absolutely awful no doubt the worst takeaway I’ve had in a while I cannot believe the other reviews...ordered on the basis of those reviews... shameful

We phoned our order in at 18.00 hrs and collected the food at 18.45.

We decided to try their takeaways after hearing good reviews and they didn't disappoint.

We eat a lot of curry from lots of places but this has to be the best ever!
