The best restaurants serving Default food in Arun South East

First visit here and have nothing but praise. Food was delicious, hot and varied.Very good menu. Will definitely visit again. Garlic chicken our favourite.

This is the best Chippy in the area. Fish cooked to order, always cell prepared and generous portions. Er wouldn’t go anywhere else

We had fantastic fish for our dinner tonight from the Wick Fryer, thanks so much. Succulent and freshly cooked. The best fish and chips.

The reception staff are hopeless, indifferent to requests and generally unhelpful. That is based on more than one visit. Conversely, our waitress was delightful, the food superb and the restaurant atmospheric. The wine carried the usual ludicrous English mark up but what we chose was good.

Great prompt service on our first visit for takeaway kebab. Friendly prompt service. Got home and food was hot, massive portions and totally delicious. Nothing not to like. We will be back ( can also order online and they deliver 😁)

I’m sorry could be me - food was very average - chow mein needed more soy sauce, pork balls very odd sweet taste and crispy beef shreds no beef or very little😂 - if you were pissed it would definitely fill a hole

Popular place for locals and walk

We like The Waverley and visit quite regularly. Sat right on the seafront between Bognor Regis pier and Aldwick, it’s a great spot for breakfast. We like the quite eclectic interior with a quite boho mix of seating and a great fire for the cooler months. Decent beer and a good menu, friendly service and a happy clientele make it a good destination

Went to Navigator Hotel today for lunch with my Wife.What a lovely experience,not been there for a long time and changes are very noticeable.We were greeted by a lovely member of staff and shown to our table,the first thing I noted was the beautiful crisp linen tablecloth and serviettes .We ordered our drinks and our food from a very comprehensive menu.The food was delicious and piping hot,staff were attentive and the whole experience was good.If anyone is thinking of going there I would recommend booking as restaurant is quite small. This pub is currently closed down. This was not shown on trip advisor and therefore we had a completely wasted journey. Not impressed.

Excellent home cooked beef Sunday roast. Best I have eaten out. Informal and pleasant service. Friendly locals great to watch football.

We visited today for coffee and to purchase an artificial xmas tree. We chose scones and coffee, one cheese and one fruit. Both of these were virtually inedible, the cheese had no flavour whatsoever, both that and my fruit scone were dry and extremely dense, neither tasted either nice or fresh and we were unable to finish. My black coffee was awful, a distinct undertone of washing up liquid or similar, undrinkable, I had to resort to glasses of water in an attempt to push my scone down. The selection of artificial xmas trees was abysmal, so the whole outing a huge disappointment and one we will not be repeating.

Worst Restaurant ever. The service was horrible! All the staff were shouting at you. I only ordered. One thing. It tasted horrible! Never come here. All the chefs don't wear any hats to stop hair from getting into the food. Glad it is shutting dowm

We ordered a family takeaway for a birthday. The food was good, but my only problem was that I ordered a large mixed kebab which came in a small container and felt it wasn't big enough for the price amount in it. I emailed the company twice but on neither occasion did they respond. To say I was disappointed with this lack of response, is an understatement.

I haven't been to a Pizza Express for years. I was very impressed with the service, which was very friendly and the food was lovely. Not too expensive. A good evening out.
