The best restaurants serving Default food in Wigan Central Wigan North West

Absolute shambles , we reserved a table for 9 3-4 weeks before our booking, paid a deposit the week before and pre-order as requested. When we arrived the place was chaotic, after 20 minutes we managed to order a drink and after 45 minutes our table still wasn’t ready. The staff told us the table would be ready in 5 minutes and then served cake to the party on the table we had booked . We gave up eventually , even the owner wasn’t in control and no one was either apologetic or actually tried to solve the problem , they just expected us to wait . At least 2 other parties were in the state as us - please avoid this restaurant unless your are on a diet .

Great staff especially Susan, she's an absolute angel 😁. Quick, friendly service with a smile and great coffee, can't rate any higher. Pumpkin does need a Facebook page though, you're missing out on more social presence. Just a suggestion. P.s, Susan deserves a raise, yeah I said it lol

As a coeliac I was having trouble getting gluten free food. Thank you for providing such good safe food, tasty and plenty if it. Very good value

We had a walk to here on a sunny midweek afternoon my grandson and myself It was nice to sit outside and have cold drinks We also had something to eat,we had chicken burger and roast beef roll with chips food was basic but nice although there was not a lot of choice on the menu It seems OK for a dinner time snack but not for a family meal Would I go back again? We ordered regular fish and chips. Been many times before but really feel the portion sizes have gone down. The chips didn’t cover the bottom of the tray. Fish was good. So not the fryers fault. The woman serving decided on giving a minuscule portion. I would have gone back but we only discovered this once home. I mean I have a skinny 9 year old who wasn’t full up, that’s never happened before from a chippy! If that was regular then I can only assume small would be about a saucer full of chips. 50p cheaper than other chippies but not worth it, you may as well pay the little extra for a decent portion elsewhere.

First time visiting today and must say we were very pleased, warm friendly and welcoming service from the staff, food was delicious and the chippy was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be returning and look forward to trying more from the menu.

Quick bite to eat before going on to a gig at Robin Park. Very friendly staff who answered any questions always with a smile. Happy Hour when we were there so great priced drinks and the food was lovely. Would 100% eat and drink here again if we come back to Wigan and would 100% recommend

Staff were really good and the food came really fast, this was ideal for us as we had a hungry boy with us. Would be intrigued to see if the service was just as quick if it was just the two of us and we wanted a longer dining experience. I would definitely return.

Dreadful bland food, plates thrown on the table. Never experienced such rude staff. Wish I’d have read the reviews before wasting our time and money. Go elsewhere

This place is probably the best restaurant in the country that I’ve ever been to. I got the chicken gyro, it was AMAZING! The waiter was so nice.
