I highly recommend. Found this place by chance after walking all over to find somewhere nice to eat, they were full but made space for us. The food was amazing I had steak (one of the best steaks I've ever had) and hubby to be had loaded hot dog, and the cheesecake was great too. They had a live singer so we ended up staying till late. Great friendly staff. Would definitely come back again

Absolutely classic this place, food delicious and Salvator is so lovely and attentive. Nothing faffy on the menu, just brilliant traditional food. Went for a lovely late lunch. There was 4 of us. Mussels in garlic sauce and prawn n cocktail went down a treat. All steaks cooked to perfection and birthday girl had her usual chicken from there. Sides of chips and mixed veg🥰 I tasted mums tirimasu which was delicious and i dont have a sweet tooth. This was followed by Salvator making my mum an Irish coffee at the table. Whole experience was lovely. Peaceful, nice atmosphere and great service. Thank you

Omg where do I even start?! I came to Harry’s Bar for their sunset session with a few friends and honestly… we were blown away. The vibe was absolutely unreal the music, the food, the energy everything was on point. We ended up dancing all night, didn’t want it to end! Huge shoutout to Liv, Grace, and Mikey who looked after us the whole night absolute legends. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they made us feel so welcome and kept the good times flowing. Can’t recommend it enough. If you’re thinking about going DO IT. We’re already booking in for the next one!

We started December in style with a fantastic Festive Afternoon Tea at The Grand Southport. The food was sensational, hand made by Callum King and his team. Because everything is freshly baked and prepared, they need at least 24 hours notice for bookings. You can see why; there’s an extraordinary level of detail in each individual item. What a wonderful way to eat with family, friends or loved ones. Take your time as you delve into a treasure trove of treats; it’s a tough choice to work out where to start first! The hand made fruit scones were superb, served with pots of Cornish clotted cream and Hawkshead strawberry preserve (we’ll let you decide which one should go on first…) There is a range of tastes and textures with the savoury items, which include: roast turkey with cranberry sauce; devilled egg mayonnaise and chives; cured salmon, caper berry and watercress tarts; cream cheese, mint and cucumber sandwiches; cranberry and orange sausage rolls; and parsnip soup. Real festive flavours and some big crowd pleasers. Make sure you leave room, because desserts are coming, and you won’t want to miss these. They include: lemon and blueberry posset; chocolate and pistachio delice; lemon and poppy seed cake; almond slice; and mince pie. Warming pots of tea are a great addition, or you can upgrade to mulled wine or Champagne. It’s all enjoyed in the beautiful setting of The Grand on Lord Street, a stunning 101 year old art deco landmark building which takes you back to the glamour of the roaring 1920s after the venue’s £5 million transformation. Festive Afternoon Tea is an elegant, indulgent, delicious way to enjoy the Christmas season in a unique dining experience.

Recommended by the owner of my bed and breakfast, i went here for a quick bite and ...i stayed the whole evening. Fist for some soup or garlic ciabatta, and then a few drinks and some time watching the entarteinment. All very pleasant, staff very kindly for a fun evening that i liked.

Once again a superb meal at The Kasturi; I've been with both family and friends and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an Indian restaurant in Southport. Friendly staff; great service, what more could one ask for? Booking advisable at the weekend.

I visited this restaurant in early December with my friend, were were after a relaxing few hours and a great restaurant experience not had chinese for a while. When we entered the restaurant we noticed how cold the temperature was, it was only 6pm so we thought maybe but hadn't been open long. We ordered a beer each from the waitress and then very soon after was asked 3 times if we were Ready to order , a bit pressured we thought. Also the wine list had disappeared from the table and had to ask twice for it. We ordered our banquet and awaited our soup, this was tasteless, iv never had to add salt to chicken & Sweetcorn soup! Our red wine arrived and it was freezing cold! I mentioned this to the waitress and she said "well it's not been in the fridge". Our combination course of ribs, spring rolls and seaweed was really nice but the mains were not, tough pork balls and chewy chicken. Untill we asked for a break the meal was very rushed. We didn't enjoy the experience and won't be returning.

Very sorry to be writing this review. Past experience of Cranberries was always good but not today. Will not say anything about food that was fine but the staff were not. The waitress who. ‘Served’ us seem to find my sister and I an Intrusion to her conversation with another girl. Our food was virtually thrown onto our table and she never even looked at me as I payed again in her haste to get back to another conversation. She never asked if we had enjoyed lunch, thanked us for coming or wished us a pleasant day.in fact she was just plain rude. I will never be returning to Cranberries ever again, we found the experience quite unpleasant.
