The best restaurants serving Default food in Wiswell and Pendleton Ribble Valley North West

5 Stars Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious — my son even said it was the best Chinese he’s ever had. We were a group of five (3 adults, 2 children) and felt so warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, and truly tasty dishes. We’ll definitely be returning!

Set in a beautiful quiet village with Pendle Hill in the background and country walks. 2 miles from Clitheroe The hotel itself is wonderful. Lovely spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good but we found the portions too big. Their is a dining conservatory at the back of the building that overlooks the large lawn surrounded by trees. At the other side of the conservatory is a decking area with table and chairs set over a stream with views of Pendle Hill. All in all an all round gem

Fantastic meal and great value !

It’s the second d time we have eaten at wellsprings the first was excellent tonight however was really poor We had strip steak that was tough and hard to chew and it’s almost £8 for two very small sparkling waters , generally expensive for what it was I think I’ll give it a miss in future

What a beauty of traditional pub to visit! It was quite busy and we’d just only turned up for a drink and not any food.. we sat outside for a little while, but it was a bit cold, the guy called Steve and The lady with the dark hair was so lovely and helpful and said yes we will find you a table to sit at so that we could stay and have another couple of drinks.. we all drink Cask ale, and the beer was kept absolutely impeccable! The pub was very clean, all the staff were very friendly, the toilets were very clean, we enjoyed our visit very much and wouldn’t think twice about visiting again! Great family breakfast! 7 of us ,had 6-64 visited this morning.We had pre-booked as we were a large party. We had two children ,a vegetarian adult and a vegan adult. All of our needs were met admirably. Immaculately clean and the table was set ready for us. All members of staff were cheerful and polite.The service was prompt with all the meals delivered together. The boys had been given a small biscuit to have with their drink while waiting. All the meals were beautifully presented and really tasty. The menu has a lovely varied selection and we all had different breakfasts which were freshly cooked to order. We were there for an hour including a look at the nice furniture! The toilet facilities were very clean. We were parked right outside. Nothing to gripe about here! The restaurant area was full by the time we left. Full marks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had tea and scones. Not sure how much, wife paid. Nice location. Good area for walking / cycling. Paper plates, paper cups, wooden knife: saves washing up, I suppose. Friendly man served us. Place was clean. It's also a post office. First time there. I would go again. A few motorcyclists also there. Sit in or out. We sat outside because it was sunny. Dog friendly. Some free parking. Also a pay car park.£2.20 for 4 hours. Next to a river. Fair prices according to the menu. Woman cook / chef. Great views all round. Children's playground also there. Book exchange available.

First visit and could not be more impressed. Food was amazing and the service was speedy and very good. Andrew (aka Alan 😄) as Front of House Host was attentive and very efficient. Highly recommended.

I'm a regular visitor to Starbucks and travel across the country so have been to many. This place is by far the best one. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, even when it's busy they make time to ensure you feel welcomed and valued. They are always much quicker at serving than other stores yet the standards of the drinks they serve are never compromised. The atmosphere is always pleasant and kept tidy and clean. It's a good place for meetings and to work from.

This establishment has yet again gotten an order wrong despite being incredibly clear that we didn't want cheese, even while being confirmed on the receipt while paying. I used to come here all the time for their breakfasts and treats. Unfortunately, I've watched this place tumble out of control, and service quality has just plummeted. The place seems to operate purely off of underpaid and underworking teenage employees. There seems to be 50% chance you actually get what you ordered, even when you make it extremely clear on what you cannot eat and what you're actually ordering. I have had reoccurring problems with this establishment for the past 2 years in increasing number. Once we ordered 2 nugget meals and when the bag was checked when home, there were only fries and drinks accompanying the "meal".

Really good service. I order through the app. They don't do a table service like some of the others do but it is really quick and fast when they do. You get it quite quickly and quite fast

We have stopped going to Starbucks due to one rude member of staff called Leanne. Which is a shame because everyone else has been absolutely fine. I’ve never come across someone who works in the service industry who is as miserable as her. We’ve never been rude to her or rushed her, she just doesn’t like how we order drinks using the app. We order to ensure the correct milk is used, as sometimes it’s misheard. Ironically one time it was misheard by the lovely Leanne, who very audibly said we were wrong, in a very grouchy tone! (We have been told by Starbucks customer service it’s fine to order and go straight to the speaker.) And god forbid you complain about her attitude- because she’s so inappropriate that she will confront you about it! In a “Sorry you felt I was rude but admit you were wrong” kind of way. Not paying £12+ for a drink, to be ambushed by a barista. No thank you. And she also said that the manager had “repeatedly told us to park up etc when we order in app”. This is completely false, so either the manager has no backbone, Leanne is a liar or they mixed us up and no real apology given. By the way, we moved from a city, where it is actually busy. Clitheroe Starbucks is not, so there’s no real reason to be so overwhelmed by 3 customers inside and two cars and blame that on your rudeness. Long story short, Leanne is so overwhelming rude and unpleasant, we as regulars, will not be returning. To everyone else, thank you for serving us with respect and a smile.
