McDonald's in Ribble Valley

Ordered a CHEESY bacon McCrispy with no lettuce or onion, instead I opened it up when I arrived home to a dry burger with absolutely no cheese.. how thick do you have to be to not put cheese on a CHEESY BACON MCCRISPY.

Very antipedestrian, advertises as 24/7 yet only the drive thru is 24/7, which is not accessible to anyone who isn't in a car, needs to change their advertising both in person and on Google maps

Quite a regular here but today not so good. Order took 15 minutes to appear on 'ready for collection' display but I wasn't verbally called, which they were doing for all orders as it was busy, so gave it another 5 minutes before enquiring. Staff just said they must have given it to someone else and prepared it again for me. Fair enough but a little gesture of apology would have been nice I thought. Even just a free drink or a couple of Monopoly Swipes maybe. Overall, 20 minutes for a simple order a bit too long but food fine and restaurant clean & tidy just a bit miffed about my custom being taken for granted perhaps ;-)

I ordered a McTasty meal and a McCrispy meal. We was only given one burger and one fries. I asked them to check and gave them it back. I was was then asked to park up. They fetched it out again and this time only had one fries. When I went back in I was told there was only one fries on the receipt but they would give me one anyway. I explained that a meal comes with fries we had two meals and one fries. Of course on checking the receipt it said two fries

order is never correct and always stone cold no matter when you go

worst food ever!! frozen cold burgers, the worst I have ever had and as a result will never eat mc Donald's again!! should be ashamed of themselves for serving such low rate food if you can even call it that!! avoid, avoid, avoid!! 😫🤢🤮

Clean store, decent food and really friendly staff.

Within the last couple of months, I've ordered the same thing three times. A triple cheeseburger, extra mayo, extra pickles, extra onions. On all three occasions I've got my burger home, seen that the items have correctly been added onto the sticker, only to open it up and find that they've in fact put on none of the above. It's not even that there isn't any extra. There is just none at all. In the past, I've also had terrible experiences where they've missed out entire portions of food. That stopped happening when I'd park up and do a quick check to make sure everything's there. NOW if I ever end up going back, I'm going to have to open everything up and check that they've assembled a burger correctly. It's beyond a joke. In addition to this, if you want a mcflurry, half the time you may aswell get 2 because they clearly can't be bothered to spend the extra time putting in an actual serving size

McSpicy required cooking fresh, so had to park and wait '2 mins'. Took 10 mins, too long imo, but it was tasty and spicy. Expected it to be mild, but pleasantly surprised.

Picked up order and checked it and sauce was missing and was nearly cold the food.

Poor service, food quite often incorrect or cold, young staff who often don't care. Not a cheap meal anymore, certainly not a place to recommend.

Just a quick pit stop whilst on our way into clitheroe. Usual McDonald's,couple of burgers, fries & a drink,service was quite slow to be honest,never mind..

Mc ds needs to catch up ridged is and understatement, I asked for lettuce on my cheese burger and no they can't do that but yet I ordered a chicken mayo and that comes with lettuce as standard.... I mean come on you can ask for burgers/meals without things but to add certain things it's taboo unbelievable to be honest, I can order from my local takeaway and add anything I want if they have it without a melt down and mc ds have been doing this for 40 years give or take..... wow 👀

Lost count of how many orders missing items, generally when visiting drive through but I have to say different branches vary.

Dirty. Bins overflowing. Unclean, unwiped tables. Lots of staff milling around with no apparent direction. No milkshakes available. Customers being told there was a 10 minute wait for some foods. Just awful. Of particularly busy either…..just after 11 on a Friday morning! Not the usual clean fast food outlet you’d expect. Someone needs to get a grip!

The worst service ever! Queued at the drive through for a breakfast meal from 10:45 with THREE cars ahead of us. However it took 15 minutes to queue to order by which time the breakfast menu stopped and they wouldn’t allow us to order. Barely had an apology and then took another 10 minutes to get served with something that none of wanted off the main menu. This is the slowest, poorest service I’ve ever had at a McDonald’s. I will no longer be going there.

I think McDonalds in general is in decline, but this onethe food was very poor.

Unfortunately the experience was unbelievably dire. The wait inside the restaurant was in excess of 25 minutes after ordering. The order when it arrived was missing a few items and was only just warm. The fries were luke warm and went cold almost immediately. There were no napkins available and the waste bin I tried to use was full to overflowing. No way was this value for money.

Called at Clitheroe McDonald's and placed an app order from the car park to collect inside which all went through and we received our order number as usual. After a long wait as usual at Clitheroe branch I was given our order with the correct number. It turned out to be the wrong order. We returned the items and were told there was no trace of our order. Not being familiar with the area we discovered we had ordered from the wrong branch. My question is how were we able to order at a DIFFERENT branch many miles away from Clitheroe McDonald's ? We have found in the past that we had to be almost in the building let alone car park for the order to go through at any branch. To be fair we were offered the correct order but as we were short of time we had to decline. As the payment was still pending from our bank we couldn't have our money back. So it seems we've lost our money. Be warned, check you're ordering from the correct branch as McDonald's system is not full proof and it could cost you money.

They do manage to make mistakes more often than not with my takeaway orders, last 2 trips I got a double 1/4 pounder that was just a 1/4 pounder, & a missing apple pie. but it's always very busy & it's probably down to the fact they seem overwhelmed/understaffed.

Atmosphere? It's McDonald's not hacienda.

Routinely have to wait 20-30 minutes for food at the drive thru. Food is almost always cold when received.

Kept waiting in drive thru for well over 10 minutes & it wasn't even busy. Then received my order(2 double cheeseburgers), to discover they are stone cold.

Disgrace. Every single time I visit here it’s appalling. No manager, who wants to speak to you, always something missing from your order, that’s after you’ve waited half an hour for it. Shambles of a place I’d go to KFC next door if I were you

Appalling service. Buying dinner for 8 people cancelled my order once then when I re ordered in side they made and gave my order to someone else. On remaking my order on the third attempt, they first forgot the two happy meals and had to be told again. On getting the food home the happy meals were still missing the kids toys and drinks. Not even a sorry from the manager who disappeared off the shop floor. Staff tried their best but no leadership or guidance from the manager at all. An hour and half and a bucket load of stress to get 8 fast food meals ...avoid this McDonald's.

Service very slow, even when they're quiet. Sometimes burger is no longer very warm, by the time you get it. This is my experience on multiple occasions.

There’s always something wrong with one of the machines so you can never actually get what you came for. I can’t recall the last time my order was given out correctly, something is usually missing and the food is luke warm. Service is shockingly slow.

went in for a chicken big mac jack helped me out think he’s a manager. lovely guy, great customer service 10 out of 10 for me SLAY. perfect amount of pickles as requested

Drive through with a quick service

Still no coffee, been at least 2 weeks now with no coffee availability. No vanilla milkshakes either. Had to go to counter for missing items from our order. I would say the one thing that prompted me to write this review was the temperature of the restaurant, it was freezing inside, even though outside it was rainy, and cold, when we left it actually felt warm outside because of the poorly managed air con. If there was an alternative McDonalds nearby I'd use it. Please mcDonalds conider your customers, and at the very least clean the tables. Rant over.

Called in for some breakfast and it took about 13 minutes to get my food. Only ordered a Saus/Egg McMuffin a Bacon/Egg McMuffin and 2 Coffees. About 7 staff just being stupid and not really caring about their jobs or customers. Definitely won't be calling here again. Given 2 Stars rather than 1 because i got an apology for the lateness of receiving my food.

Coffee machine has been out of use for two weeks on a Sunday morning. Presumably this isn’t therefore a fault issue and leans more towards a staff/management issue. Is the machine out of use every Sunday morning more due to failure to clean 🤷‍♀️

On way back from Alton towers thought to make it easier just go to McDonald’s on way back to where we’re staying. Originally arrived with a “drive thru” order via the app. 2 cars in front but still took 20 minutes to get to order terminal to then be told they couldn’t find our app order. But being in the drive meant we had to stay in the queue to get out which took another 15minutes. So just restarted the order and went in to collect it which took another 25 minutes. With 2 hungry and tired kids, what should have been a quick pick up took just over an hour. This branch was clearly under staffed , however the staff that they had were very polite and friendly and were so apologetic.

It's a drive through not a sit and wait. If I wanted to sit and wait I would of gone inside

Sad to say but had to leave the queue and get food elsewhere. Signs up saying no hot drinks available. Got chatting to someone in the queue who had been waiting 40 minutes after ordering his food. People were walking in and back out again. One of the worst visits of a food establishment I've been to.

Absolutly ridiculous, stayes 24hours - closed at 11 Turned off ordering machines and insisted customers pay cash - at least 20 people walked away - imagine the lost revenue When we were told to leave, we were.given no reason just some jumped up manager saying everyone has to get out in 5minutes - no apology or anything Ridiculous!!

By far the worst MacDonalds i have been to. An average of 45 minutes to get served (inside or drive through) and its 50/50 if your order is going to be correct....its bad. Atmosphere is a 1 star because you can feel the stress in the as everyone waits for their incorrect order to arrive

Went yesterday. Had a chicken wrap meal. Chewy chicken, lettuce not fresh. Chips the dregs from the ones cooked previous. Not hot no fresh. They changed the chips, but no better. Gave up, threw it away and went. Was busy so should be fresh. Won't be returning for a long time. Very disappointed

No clean tables floor had food on it. Customer bins over flowing. Had to ask for a table to be cleaned. Never visited such dirty MeDonalds. There's normal an Older Gentleman there cleaning Never Been so messy customers had left waste on top off tray section. A group off White collar workers were stood around having a discussion by the Counter when we arrived. Shame they never noticed The state off the place. We vist here regular with Or Grandson don't think we will be returning.

I've been a few times and every time I'm a sucker for punishment. The food is what you'd expect but it takes on average around 20-30mins to complete and collect your order via the drive thru. Doesn't matter what time you visit it's always the same

This Mcdonalds needs to sort themselves out. Cold children's food constantly running out of ice cream. Also had to ask for my grandaughter's food as after 15 mins it wasn't even showing on the board. There is however a very helpful lady there who is efficient and friendly who sorted my order out. These poor outlets wouldn't survive in America.

Getting worse for service, ordered a breakfast at 10.50am and was told to wait in a space for 15 mins came in and asked where it was and they still made me wait 5 mins and still not come out. I wouldn’t mind but it wasn’t even busy in. To top it off I was on there saw the person taking outside and told them my number plate she said no it’s not this one, a few mins later comes in and says is this for you 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

When using the drivethru, always check your order as they have a tendency to miss things off

I was amazingly surprised by the speed in which I was served at this McDonald's. I know this sounds daft, but the service in other McDonald's I have been is very slow compared to this one, and the food was hot and tasty. Again, daft, but made a big difference to my experience.

All I want is an iced caramel drink ! Every time I que in the shop or in drive through they tell me the machine is broken ! Out of about 15 times I think I’ve managed to get 1 ! If can’t provide take off the menu !

On a very busy roundabout but the drive through went smoothly Plenty parking and it’s a handy stop off if you heading up north by eck

Used to be one of the best McDonalds in the Lancashire area but its fallen dramatically in the past 2 years. I know McDonalds isn't high class dining but the ability to put a burger together without it looking like a dogs dinner is apparently a skill they aren't taught anymore. If you pay for a large drink expect it to only be 2/3 full as its too tough to make sure that the customer gets what they ordered. If you want warm fries well good luck that's about a point f'all chance of happening. Hope you like soggy cold chips. Cheese melts? expect them to melted into a homogeneous ball and to top it all off every single order you have to double/triple check because they have every single time they missed something off the order and then look at you like you've just stabbed their grandma when you politely ask for the rest of your order. Usually I hate people that leave reviews but this place needs to steered well clear of until the up their bare minimum standards. Go to Blackburn or Burnley. The 20 min drive is worth it even for mcdonalds, Trust me. The final straw for me was the cheesy bacon flatbread attached, How hard is it to fold a piece of bread in half? Maybe it was because the bread was so stale that it couldn't be folded but then maybe don't serve a customer a flatbread so stale that it cant be bent and the bacon to top it off is in a ball barely hanging on for dear life. Won't be coming back again, Even KFC has better service and quality and that place is laughable. I'm going to have to go to burger king...

I travel the country for work this McDonald's has the worst staff for service. It is slow and rude.

Every single time I’ve been here, they’ve messed up my order. They either forget items (a few times they’ve forgotten whole meals) or put ketchup and gherkins on to my burger when I’ve asked them not to. My brother can’t eat cheese and they always put cheese on his burger when I ask for a plain hamburger happy meal. I even clarify that there can’t be cheese on the burger, and they still put cheese on it 70% of the time. The workers are nice, they just mess up most of the orders. I live rurally, so there aren’t many other fast food options that everyone I’m getting food for likes. I wouldn’t come here if there were other options nearby. They also frequently don’t have items available, which I know isn’t really in their control, but a few weeks ago they had no drinks other than fruit shoot and milk available, not even water.

Seem to always get the order correct and food is upto McDonald's standard.

Today the service from the girls at this McDonalds was extremely poor at the drive through, we had to wait a very long time to get the food and McFlurrys. They didn’t seem to know what was happening or what they were doing at the time the food was building up and no one was handing this out, we were offered food that wasn’t ours. Our McFlurry was half empty! Just really poor service from start to finish, which is unlike this restaurant. Maybe it was a bit of a blip but it’s worth a review as someone might take some notice.

Called in to McDonald`s Clitheroe hoping for a quick, hot lunch amidst a very busy day. Should have gone elsewhere !! We were met with a long wait, several upset Customers who had been given short orders on the drive-through and so had had to park up and go into the restaurant to retrieve missing items, a filthy restaurant floor littered with bits of food and dirty napkins, etc., and a team of Staff who looked really unhappy to be there !! Having queued to get served, we were then hit with the unwelcome news that they were not serving any hot drinks at all !! and that one of the two burgers we had requested was sold out !! Having changed our order to accommodate these two issues, we then eventually received food which was luke warm at best. "Goodbye Clitheroe McDonald`s - we will not be coming back !!! " :-(

Park up! There were seven other cars parked up waiting. We had to wait over 15 mins. No tea, no coffee, no Diet Coke and no shakes! Poor staff were getting loads of complaints

Was served half a mcflurry I explained there was only half he said they were all standard. I asked him to look and compare to the other mcflurry I had bought but repeatedly said same thing its standard. I asked if he would change it he said no So I got a refund

Well, another McDonald's that can't get something right. Went into the drive-through and ordered 6 cheese burgers and 2 chicken mayos was told to park up as they were waiting on the chicken. After parking up and waiting half an hour, we went in to be told the order had been done but given to the car behind us. Then, when asked to redo the order, they try saying its no longer on the system, I don't care its in my banks system, so you can redo it. If you want a bite to eat, only go McDonald's if you're going in, even then, you will be lucky if they get it right.

Not great, franchise no more than average and in a morning quite threatening, feel sorry for the kids.
