We were going on a three day trip and on way out went here with no issues, stopped with our dog and sat inside for a drink. On way home doing the same, as my small dog sat quietly on my knee the woman clearing up, scowled and said dogs not allowed. I advised they had let me in three days ago no issues and other Starbucks pet friendly. “No, we are a franchise”, she shut me down. So, it’s ok to have screaming babies and kids running round but silent, well behaved dog on my knee is a no no! We had to sit in dreary November day in damp weather outside with old dog shivering. Hope she feels better for being a jobsworth, as, as a regular visitor, I won’t come back.

Ordered two flat whites at the drive through yesterday. The drinks came in large Christmas cups, I was told they were trying to use them up. What is wrong with saving them until next Christmas? More particularly the drink lurking at the bottom of the inappropriately large cup wasn't a flat white at all, just a hot milky drink with very little taste of coffee. Why was I asked if I want to purchase an extra shot, a flat white should contain a double shot espresso anyway? Net result, a overly hot, poor quality weak coffee served - not a bit of milk art in sight. I consider a coffee at a drive through to be a special treat - this was the polar opposite. Sadly a regular occurrence for me here.

This is really poorly run. I’ve had a number of bad experiences sitting in with rude young male staff and poorly cleaned toilets. The drive thru is also incredibly slow. It would have been quicker for me to drive to the Starbucks in Blackburn.

Such a poor Starbucks, the place itself is filthy. Always stacks of dishes and cups piled up all over, chairs and tables dirty. Toilets would make you sick. Needs a deep clean. The staff are so slow and also rude, it can take up to 20 mins wait for a basic coffee. When it comes it also doesn’t taste great, very hit and miss. Staff need to learn how to smile!

Visited Starbucks on the A59 on a drizzly Sunday. This has become a favourite spot. On this occasion, my order was misheard and I was served two iced versions of the coffee I had hoped for. These looked great so I explained that I would take them instead. However, a few minutes later, staff member Finn brought two fresh hot coffees as originally ordered and apologised for the mistake. Great customer service and great coffees!

Absolute manic in charge of this starbucks. When I complained about my cold coffee started screaming at me that he has a better car than me and earns more money. I asked for the manager he said he was the manager. Crazy. Needs firing!!

Nipped into have a coffee at Starbucks in Clitheroe. The staff were miserable and unfriendly. It took them ages to make 2 coffees there was only one other person in the shop and 2 vehicles in drive through. I walked round the whole coffee shop to find a clean table or chair to sit and have my coffee. The place is filthy! Every table dirty with plates, food crumbs, mugs etc left from previous customers. The floors were also dirty. It was shocking. A health hazard. Will never go back or recommend.

I have avoided this Starbucks in Clitheroe for a while due to poor customer service in the past. Any way thought I’d give it another chance today. Upon my visit however I was unfortunately reminded why I had stopped going to this specific Starbucks and I will not be returning!!! First off they got my drink order wrong, and again lack of stock! Went there for pumpkin spice latte and surprise surprise not in stock!!! This happens every year at this location with any of their specialty drinks!! Ive been to other Starbucks in the area and never seem to have this problem. Clitheroe needs to get its act together!!! Better customer service, improve your drive thru microphone/ speaker, actually supply your store sufficiently! Thanks!

Rubbish experience at my local Starbucks this morning. Dirty tables, unable to accept payment via the Starbucks app because it had crashed, unable to pay by AmEx (luckily I had a second card). When I eventually got my coffee, I had to clear a table myself since no one was taking away used mugs. This place used to be well run. I've been coming here for four years. Now? Not so much.

Trip to Starbucks for a coffee. In these times of COVID-19 you expect extra hygiene to be in place. Not at this Starbucks. Every table had crumbs of food on them! Obviously not cleaned between customers. When asking for the a table to be cleaned a staff came and wiped other tables but not ours. I asked again for our table to be cleaned and she told me to wait! What happened to customer service?

This Starbucks has a lot to say to themselves. Staff are very rude and got everyone of my orders wrong. Management need to start monitoring their staff closely and start training them properly. Very disappointed.

We like our coffee, and part of that is serving in proper crockery instead of throwaway cups served up by Starbucks. The reason? Covid-19. However, every other coffee shop, including the Costa chain, doesn't have that problem. On top of that, £6.10 for two small coffees seems excessive. What happened to the VAT reduction in force now. I also had to ask for meagre sprinklings on our cappuccinos instead of them being offered. Coffee itself was ok, but not great. Our first visit there. Also our last.

this place is ridiculously understaffed, I come here most weekend evenings and it’s always packed with just 2 members of staff trying to be in 10 places at once! With that being said, most weekend i’m served by Georgia and Daniel who couldn’t be lovelier members of staff! Although they’re both run ragged they're always incredibly apologetic if there’s a wait, can’t do enough for customers and they’re always such lovely people to talk to! The friendly staff attitude is what keeps bringing us back every week! I really do hope that they’re acknowledged by management as they’re the only saving grace of this store!

Quite slow service today. 10 minute wait for our 2 flat whites and 2 fraps. The bacon and egg muffin was cold by the time the drinks arrived. The system for clearing the tables isn't great. 3 staff behind the counter, all working really hard to serve drive-thru and customers inside and 3 tables not cleared. A system to store trays so we could clear our own tables might help.

Called in today for a quick(?) coffee with the family-oh dear, no chance! Long queues of customers, lots of tables not cleared, customers clearing tables taking used trays of crockery to the counter and waited a good 15 minutes for a our drinks! We were luckier than the couple at the next table who were in seated before we arrived and who after we got our drinks went to the counter to complain that they hadn't had their pot of tea yet ! Felt so sorry for the young staff all working really hard, one taking orders, one making drinks and one on the takeaway side who were all working their socks off. There are more staff on here during the week when it's quieter, it really is a badly managed branch of Starbucks.

I have to be honest this Starbucks can be very hot and miss.... the 2 younger boys that work here make excellent coffee and give great service. There is also a couple of the girls that are brilliant but sometimes there are ridiculous waiting times (15 mins at drive through yesterday), and sometimes my order is wrong. But it’s only a happened a few times and I’ve been a lot.. So to be positive I think this Starbucks isn’t bad at all and I enjoy visiting most of the time.I think the place lacks a leader, in fact I’m never quite sure who is in charge which needs to change... if they are sat in the office all of the time they need get out on the floor and show some presence, if not then they need to stand out and not blend in so much.

Good reviews are as important as bad ones. This venue has particularly good staff. Especially Jo who is always friendly professional and has good customer relations. Emily is equally as good and always has a smile and nothing is too much trouble. Also Jess deserves a mention as she is also very jolly and pleasant.Keep up good work

I have been twice now, served both times by 'Jo', the older lady on the drive thru. On both occasions, Jo was extremely rude, sharp and patronising. Zero customer service skills and can definitely tell she doesn't want to be there. Jo definitely puts me off going there which is a shame as the coffees are great!

The two staff who were trying to deal with drive through and cafe area were doing a sterling job ! However ! Surely only two staff is insufficient for volume of customers ? Customers getting annoyed waiting and staff stressed trying to do to many tasks at once ! Given corporate greed - Starbucks needs to value its staff more and recognise staff overload leads to Poor performance , illness including physical and psychological , absenteeism , staff retention

We were delighted when this opened up. Starbucks is a great business but how many times can you not have Mango for your range of drinks and ice drinks. We visited today ( Friday ) and was told no mango will be available until Tuesday!!!.So over this busy weekend and pay weekend as well. We have had this at least three times before over a period of time. The staff are polite and apologetic but it’s not down to them who does the ordering. Not fair to them.

Not every Starbucks is the same - being an aficionado of this brand, and having tried Starbucks outlets in over 10 countries, I was delighted to discover this one. What makes a Starbucks has to be the team that operate it. This one are great! Not just coffee that hits the mark, but the warm greeting from people who mean it rather than do it because it's their job. It's a shame that they are not in Birmingham where I live, though I have my favourite there too...but not like this one. A big thank you to Jo who served me today:)

I went in for a coffee around tea time with my friend for a catch up. We we’re both served by a blonde girl who I believe was called Lauren? Not only was she very helpful in helping me choose a coffee but her colleague ‘kait’ was helpful too in helping me with the sizes of cups and told me to try the new espresso. Not only was the customer service fab but the coffee was great too! I would recommend the new espresso it was lovely. Coffee not only tastes great but looks great too!

The lack of hygiene I have encountered at Barrow Brooks Starbucks, is really quite appalling. Especially in the restrooms, I haven't ever encountered anything so unhygienic!!! The toilet and sink are always covered in a thick layer of dust and hair. The toilet itself is always covered in feaces, hair, urine... It is absolutely vile. I do understand it is up to the users to utilise the toilet in a humane manner, but it would be nice if staff could maintain cleanliness.

Went to Starbucks on a Saturday night went to sit in. There was only 1 other person sitting in the cafe and nobody queuing. Stood at the till waiting to be served for at least 2 minutes before somebody acknowledged us, they asked us if it was ok if we had the coffee in a takeaway cup (obviously couldn’t be bothered washing any more cups) then we asked where the cakes were and they had all been piled up and put on the side we asked why they were there and they said we are closing soon, we asked what time they said 10pm, it was 8pm at the time we asked. So we sat down and had the coffee, my cup smelt and tasted of cigarette ash and the coffee was disgusting. My cake was a caramel shortbread which tasted of mint (due to all cakes being piled up) one member of staff was cleaning up whilst chatting away on the phone to his mate and then the other one started vacuuming round whilst people are sat trying to have a nice coffee. Won’t be in a hurry to return there :)

This is a new Starbucks that has only been opened for about a month. Had a few teething problems at first with new staff being trained but now just as good as other Starbucks. It has a drive through as well. Based at a handy stop off which has just been newly built next to a pre exsisting petrol station, co op and McDonald's so now has KFC, Subway and Greggs as well.

Sucio! te recomiendo muchísimo que aléjate. La trona que me dieron para mi hijo estaba lleno de piedras negras y viejos pedazos de comida. La mesa había secado de té/café con manchas (claramente no había sido destruidos en un tiempo) Mi anciana abuela tenía que cambiar una caja de tazas de poliestireno para tener acceso a su silla. Nos fuimos después de unos minutos y nos fuimos a otro lado!

Had a meal with my 12 year old Grandson on 7/9/24. Both meals were great, as were the staff, and good portions too . Will definitely be back !!
