The best restaurants serving Default food in St Michael's Liverpool North West

Enjoyed a mixture of hot and cold mezze and grilled lamb which was done to perfection. Portions are generous and we over ordered a bit. Were a walk in but lucky to get a table on a Tuesday night. Atmosphere buzzy and service attentive. All round great experience

Tenía las papas fritas cargadas de avo que nunca había tenido nada como antes, estaba delicioso. Toda mi familia disfrutó de su comida, tuvimos 0 quejas y éramos 10! Volveré cuando esté en Liverpool.

We waited around 15 minutes for a table but it was so worth it! The food was fast and fresh, the coffee was lovely, the waitress was so warm and accommodating! They also paid attention to my dairy intolerance which can be hard to find. Will be rushing back soon!

I've been put off returning after contending with two other female customers sat at another table far to close to me who constantly spoke about some other woman's baby who although only fairly new born had been taken swimming! I also had bright sunshine in my face and was unable to get out the sun or away from these overbearing customers until I'd finished eating. The stairs are steep to climb and too difficult while carrying any heavy bag of shopping and the café can get too busy so crowded for my liking. It also once served me smoked salmon so it isn't vegetarian or wasn't then, this was a few years ago now. I've also been given cold soup that had obviously just been quickly reheated in a microwave when it was just slightly warm around the edges! I did return and mentioned it to a male member of staff who then let me off paying for whatever I ordered then. This was when a couple with a young family ran the café.

Was in Troughton for business looked at web day before it was 5 min away from my hotel. On arrival staff refuse to pay by business card. Have to order pizza over the road from Domino's. Waste my time. Have a take away diner in Portsmouth day before in no issues with payment. The Mezze turkish grill and restaurant.

Luis was a great host. The apartment was huge and very stylish and comfy. The rooms were big, and the bathroom too. It felt like home. We traveled with my husband and a friend to play at the International Beatleweek all the way from Argentina, and we needed a place to relax in between the gigs we had. Casa Da Ana was the place! We had a little problem while cooking (set the fire alarm on because of some burgers) and Luis came in 5 minutes to fix everything, he was very worry that we were cold because of the bad weather too but we were fine. He brought us food two days later, and once we really need it, we asked him to explain us how to turn on the heat and he did it through whatsapp video call! He also left food for you to make your own breakfast, and snacks and fruits. We had the best time!!! The apartment also had: Iron, Ironing table, vacuum cleaner and clothes line. Having Netflix was Awesome too and the internet worked really good! ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING: lots of Liverpudlians told us that that was one of the best neighbourhoods in the city. Just check the post code. If we go back, we'll choose Luis for sure!The thing with the firealarm was that the smoke detector is just above the oven, so if something little happens (like some burned oil) and makes a big cloud it triggers easyly. There isn't a huge ventilation for that on the kitchen, but we could handle it after the incident :) Another thing, we didn't have internet until we arrived at the building and checked in, so it became difficult to find Luis get the keys. We went to Cafe Noir, at the opposite corner, order some drinks and use the internet. Luis was in the cafe next to the apartment (top stairs), and came two minutes after i've emailed him. He asked for the people at the cafe to wait for us, and the kindly accepted. Actually that was a shared problem because we didn't arrange where to meet (or maybe I misunderstood something). Inspite of all, these are not actual problems. We loved being there!

However it was late due to radio one weekender. The owner kept me informed and called many times the food arrived and was really good. Will definitely order again.

We went here tonight and received the best service ever from the lovely Ellie, she couldn’t do enough for us and was so lovely and friendly. The food was excellent, large portions, so we were given a box to take home and have enough for tomorrow’s tea! Would highly recommend coming here!

Absolute disgrace just been 4 portion chips £2.50 & not evan a scoop in them never mind a portion wnt b goin again also the wait for food is just ridiculos

First time here but hopefully not the last. Had the lunch menu. I had meatballs as a starter and Chicken Melt for the main. Glad I didn't go for three courses as the portions were really generous. Will be back.

After a busy day at work, my coworker and I made a quick stop here and were pleasantly surprised by how great everything was. I had the burrito, and it was absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and perfectly satisfying. My coworker went with the enchiladas, and they were just as impressive. What really made the visit stand out was the kindness of the owner. We ended up having a lovely conversation, and the warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. As an unexpected bonus, we were treated to free shots, which added a fun touch to the evening. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, friendly vibes, and a personal touch that makes all the difference!

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Freshly made while I waited. The duck spring rolls were good too.
