Great pub, well stocked bar, nice staff 😊

Might not be everyone's cup of tea. No cask ale and wall to wall tv showing the football. But good, friendly, studenty atmosphere. Recommend a pint of Blue Moon with orange slice (weirdly it works).

Appearances can be deceiving. Looks quite cosy from the outside, but inside felt very cold and not like a pub at all. Beer selection was also pretty poor - nothing but lager on tap and ciders on offer were just not worth drinking.

Visited for the SpeedQuizzing on Tuesday evg. Good and thoughtful bar staff offered an elderly relative some coffee in all of the rush. Packed and a really good atmosphere. 27 teams. And one dog :-)

We recently visited Liverpool for a two night getaway and stayed at the Sefton Park Hotel which is just across the road from the Fulwood Arms. With the weather being a little on and off, we decided a safe bet would be to go here for a few drinks. We had a great time there. Even though we were in on a Sunday, which based on the week board they have in there, nothing happens on a Sunday, we enjoyed it. Reasonably priced drinks and the music was right up our street. The lovely young lady who was in on Sunday 12th November was very friendly and seemed to get on with everyone who I could assume we're locals. We purchased 4x bottles of rekorderlig (there was a deal), but didn't want to take them all with us, so she offered to hold two back for us and we could come and collect them whenever we were ready. Not something we are used to and is something every pub should do. Where I'm from you can get some great deals on Jager Bombs, but you can bet you have to take all of them with you. All in all a great pub and if we are ever back in Liverpool again for a couple of nights, Fulwood Arms will be our first call. P.s. I gave a low food rating because I wasn't aware that they offered food.

Great little pub. Great back bar. Great drink choices. We come in regularly. It has a great atmosphere. It's just a shame that 'substances' get used in the toilets (straws left at the side of the toilet with spilt powder) It's also very clear that it's a couple of the barstaff who leave that mess behind. They are the face of the Fulwood, and they shouldnt really be condoning that sort of behaviour.

Great local, and the beer is always fresh and cold. Some good live music of a weekend and the open mic of a Thursday is well worth a visit. Friendly and welcoming staff too. My only gripe is that the sign outside, " The Fulwood Arms" has not been lit up for years. The pub looks very inviting from the outside but would look even better with its name lit up.

Not sure why I've avoided it for so many years but enjoyed my Friday night there. Great band on, very reasonable prices and quick service, will be going again for the quiz as I've heard good things.

Says it opens at midday, sat outside till at least 1pm and never ever did open. Need opening times updated soon.

Good atmosphere, good selection of bevys and the staff are sound. Dog friendly and they even had treats for her behind the bar. Don’t usually leave reviews but have had a great few nights in there now and thought it was deserved!

First time here. Great atmosphere. Seems like a lovely pub. Nice selection of spirits as I’m not in to beer. Had a pineapple captain Morgan’s that was great. Everyone seemed friendly and I love that they let dogs in. I know that’s not for everyone but there was a lovely little dog dead well behaved.

Great beer and good atmosphere but Ladies toilet has had one toilet out of order for over 2 months now. Please get it fixed asap. Too much queueing in a confined space, not Covid friendly to have to gather in a very confined space at the top of the stairs

Just a good local pub music good

The Fulwood Arms is a great little pub. All of the bar staff are friendly, they have a great selection of drinks, and almost every night there's something going on. Quiz night hosted by Sphinx quiz is a particular fave, open mic night with the amazing Tom Crofts and hosting local musicians on weekends. They're super accommodating, have disabled access and it's generally just a great pub! Also, it has some great décor, not of that garish old man pub vibes to be seen here!

I've been here a few times and was really glad when they opened outside. The furniture looks amazing, so colourful! I appreciate its a hard time for the industry having to do table service but we didn't wait long for a drink at all. Staff were attentive and were constantly walking round outside checking if everyone was OK for drinks (they defo must have hit their 10,000 steps!) Can't wait to get back inside and the quiz to start, love quiz night :-)

Had a great evening at the Fulwood Arms. The customers and staff are very friendly and good conversation to be had. Wines are sold by bottle or glass and good selection.

I love this place! went once after work and it was a must go to again, feels like I haven't left since! They have a boss pub quiz every Tuesday with some great prizes :) I've also heard great things about the open mic nights on Thursdays

Had such a lovely time visiting recently with friends. Great selection of drinks and really friendly staff. Would recommend! They are genuinely handling the covid 19 health and safety guidelines with care without taking away the warmth of the pub.

I've been drinking in the Fulwood Arms for a few months now and it's got to be one of the best pubs I've been to. Its a regulars local bar but strangers are made to feel so welcome. The staff will always talk to you if you're on your own, and the place has a lovely feel to it with nice homely decor. Theres a great selection of beers and an impressive number of spirits for a small pub. Malt whiskies are my tipple and they have some very good choices! Also seen some great live music here with local bands every weekend. I've heard the quiz night is really fun as well. All in all a great place!

Recently moved into the area close to The Fulwood Arms and what a find for a local pub. The selection of draught beers, Gins, great wines menu and a back bar to rival any of the city centre bars is impressive to say the least. The service from the staff is really polite and friendly and made to feel very welcome each time i have been in. It has great live music every weekend with great chicken wings, burgers, fries etc and all the sporting action covered on big HD screens. All in all its got a really nice chilled vibe and great pub.

After visiting this establishment late in the evening after going to the ladies facilities, we were horrified to discover that someone had vomitted all over the floor of one of the cubicles and walked it all over the floor, plus blocked up one of the two sinks stinking out the whole place. Unbelievably, when this was mentioned to the two bar staff, not only were they already aware of the fact, and hadn’t done anything about it but they pretty much refused to rectify it. upon our notification of the state of the bathroom, stating that “we would have to speak to a Manager” - unavailable. Not only is is this a lack of Customer Service unacceptable, especially in an establishment that supposedly has 4.5 Stars on Trip Advisor why should the cleaning staff be subjected to such foul conditions.

Our local. Great pub. Always make an effort with events, music and all the sport. Drinks prices are really reasonable as well. Worth a visit!

A real local pub that is serious about its drinks. The football is always on, but it's so much more than a footie pub. Craft beers and a wide selection of find. Friendly, competent staff round it off perfectly.

Dropped in on a cold winters night and was given a warm welcome. Locals pub but didn’t feel out of place. Good selection of drinks served by friendly staff. Great place to watch sport as many TVs and food available if required. Nice and clean, great place for a drink and catch up with friends.

Beautiful local pub, fantastic pub quiz which is dog friendly too! The staff are fantastic and the lady quiz master tonight was a revelation! Friendly, fair and hospitable, what more can you ask for? Effervescent in her personality, she set scene for a night of exquisite quizzing. Our dog Poppy went down a storm alongside the trivial whimsy. Now it’s time for bingo, eyes down! And paws up! Xxx
