Great venue, polite friendly and informative bar staff. Recommended for a couple of bevvies and great live music on a regular basis. Downstairs music venue small and intimate for a great gig feel. Will be back very soon.

Fantastic place in the heart of the city, with the best bartender in Liverpool Isaac! He was warm and welcoming, he may not sound like he’s from the city, but he’s 100% scouse, legend!

Been here a couple times with my friends we all love it, one bartender in particular, Nathan, was incredibly friendly and made our visit worth while!

Great selection of drinks and amazing atmosphere. The staff couldn't do more for us and we're really friendly ! A barman by the name nathan was sublime and was really chatty and friendly as soon as we walked in.

Amazing little find in liverpool, live music was brilliant and the atmosphere was incredible, was served by a kid named Nathan, what a chap, couldn't have asked for too much, constantly made sure we never had empty glasses, came in with a group and left staggering, shot choice was incredible, only downside was being mugged that night because I was too pissed to stand up.

Pub with live music, on the main floor, in the basement they hold concerts, a small room where The Beatles rehearsed, there is a mural made by two of its members. On the second floor they have a record store, good atmosphere, located in a very good area of ​​Liverpool. Pub that should be a mandatory stop if you are in the city.

Been couple of times in last few months once with DJ on another weekend before Christmas with a lad playing acoustic guitar. Both decent nights but gets packed.

Historic venue, drinks quite expensive

Has always been a great little student dive this place, it's been going for years and I've seen some great bands here. Never seen it serve food in 20 years though so don't know what Google is on about. Often pop in for a pint even now. Locals are great and it's really friendly place on a great little street in town.

My friends and I enjoyed a David Bowie themed evening. The cocktails were great and the music was awesome and we danced until the early hours of the day!

A great small live music venue for upcoming bands with backline and PA system in-house. Bars on upper levels with seating booths and memorabilia on the walls. And the Beatles played here!

Down stairs which is very small the band plays. There is only bottled beer at a stupid price. So if you prefer draught beer get it upstairs to drink it down stairs. If you are into loud music being played in a confined space it's the place for you. Upstairs the atmosphere was brilliant could not fault anything upstairs. The service considering the place was very busy was excellent. All in all not a bad visit for the first time. !!!

Very nice place with amazing food. Big portions, nicely cooked and very well tasting. Recommended if you are in Liverpool. We had different steaks as well as ribs. Very good. The waiter was very nice and answered all our questions, she also took a picture of us. It opened at 5, and the restaurant got busier quickly. Table reservation could be smart.

We went to see an English gig, a concert by some friends we met in the city. Bring earplugs because the concert is in the basement and the music is very loud! Recommended for young people.

Only popped in for a look around because of the Beatles history.

Amazing venue, the live event area is really good, intimate, but not too small. The record store upstairs is a hidden gem too, great selection of vinyls available! Will visit again soon

Been coming on and off here for years and popped in on my birthday March 2023 with my partner. As always a good atmosphere, the bar can get pretty busy it was a Saturday but managed to get served and even got a seat l always enjoy it here.

Had a brill night watching the bands they were fab especially fire exit they were fantastic . Staff were great

My twin brother and I were pub and bar hopping around this part of the wonderful Ropewalks district when we decided to drop into the Jacaranda, been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this bar ,interior is superb, exposed brickwork, eclectic decor and furnishings, a great looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its just a really good bar to unwind in. We were here on a Wednesday evening,bar was packed with a great atmosphere, we ordered a beer each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great bar. Beer served in here was amazing, golden, light and hoppy, bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to the Jacaranda we had a great time. The Jacaranda is easy to locate along Slater Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 5pm till very late . Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Beatles' rehearsal place, the super nice waitress, showed me the downstairs part, where they rehearsed and you can see a mural made by Lennon and Stuff....you can only see the place if you go to a concert, as it is from It was closed late afternoon, but I repeat, the waitress was super nice and friendly. Highly recommended to have a pint there

Origanally owed by ALAN Williams who managed the Beatles, they rehearsed in the celler, also lennon did some murals on the walls, Still a great place for a, beer, live music, also has a record label aswell,t there yesterday Black Grape, Shaun Ryder and Paul leveridge aka Kermit, had a meet and greet for there new album, they were on form.. Brill.

Had a problem with a patron and the second I informed the doormen, it was handled instantly. I've never felt more safe in a pub. Beer prices are fantastic, music is amazing, atmosphere is chilled and friendly! 10/10, will visit again!

A wonderful pub/bar in the heart of Liverpool. A truly historic venue as it played a Hugh part in the formative years of The Beatles.

I went here with some friends to see a band we really like. The drinks were decently priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. The basement where the band played was small but by no means a deal breaker. The bar had certain offers and deals on for those there to see a band. They also gave you a 10% discount if you had a band t-shirt on - which I thought was really cool. I, sadly, did not have one on. I would definitely return!

Great to stop by as a solo pint drinker for a couple of relatively cheap ones. They blast out 60s tunes and were a great venue this Beatles week ! I’m walking about in their merch since !!! ❤️

Entertainment led pub once owned by the Beatles first manager, Allan Williams. They hung out played and rehearsed in there often in their very early days, so no doubt that keeps a steady stream of tourists coming. When I went they had a singer / guitarist playing covers to a packed and lively crowd on the ground floor and a much quieter acoustic open mic session in the basement, which was my preference. I had a lovely evening. I gather that the upstairs floors have a record shop but I wasn't able to explore up there. They even have a label called Jacaranda Records. Absolutely recommend it for any music lover on a night out or any visitors to the city looking for somewhere with a strong Beatles history.

Popped in here for a glass of wine. Being fans of The Beatles, it was a must do to see where the band would perform. It was mid-afternoon when we stopped by so it was rather quiet. The bar staff was very nice and the wine was very good. The woman behind the bar did an amazing job chilling the glasses making the wine the perfect temperature. Was nice to see the Beatles photos on the wall as well as some of the artwork painted on the walls by the late Stuart Sutcliffe. Will return again so check out the 3rd floor records and drinks!
