The best restaurants serving Default food in St Michael's Liverpool North West

Friendly staff and good service. Also very dog friendly which was nice (update- restaurant now closed permanently)

Gonna start with the positive which is it's a great old school pub, the decor inside is fantastic. The location on lark lane is perfect, in fact it's probably the best pub in the area, and there is a great, and really lovely atmosphere on a Sunday evening with the open mic nights in the back room, where everyone including some really talented people gets up, and has a sing song. I would like to mention on here through, that there is a few issues I would like to raise with the place which is that on a Sunday night there are these two really strange staff on the door who are constantly walking up down for no reason, while patrons are having a drink and a few times they have even followed people into the men's loo, and watched them do their business without even saying a word, or use the toilet themselves it's really odd. Also there have often been occasions when last orders have gone at 22:45, and by 23:00 the door staff are demanding everyone leaves ten or fifteen minutes after they have brought a drink, and are shoving a plastic cup in peoples faces like they are trying to intimidate, people into leaving earlier. Guys it's a great boozer with great people especially the staff behind the bar who were absolutely fab on Christmas day. But please sort the doorman issue out, it kinda ruins the otherwise nice atmosphere. People who give you their business deserve to be treated better than that. Not to be harassed, and bullied out of a pub not long after they have brought a drink. Let people finish their drinks, and let the guys go to the toilet without being spied on by a creepy doorman. They may just be doing their job, but they are doing it very badly.

No está cerrado temporalmente como dice aquí en Trip Advisor. ¡Está abierto! Incluso los llamé para que lo verificaran. La comida es genial. Buena selección de bebidas. Personal amable. La música es perfecta. No muy fuerte. Hemos desayunado aquí un par de veces. Increíbles porciones y calidad. Relación calidad-precio. También almorzamos y hemos estado por las noches para tomar algo. Es mi lugar en Lark Lane. Muy recomendable!

Why for the love of god do you not allow people to order rice or noodles separate when ordering takeaway?! It’s so simple but you refuse it as an option. If I’m ordering for 5-6 people then 5-6 portions of rice is way too much! I love the food but it’s so annoying that it’s “required” or how I term it, “mandatory” to order a side dish when ordering online. Please explain the sense to me because it’s completely bonkers and no other takeaway demands you order rice with a main meal! I wouldn’t mind but the main come soaked on top on the rice it was ordered with…so you can’t separate it for those who don’t want the spicy dish. For the love of god sort it out you idiots!

Really good portions, salt and pepper chips are really nice too. Curry is good.

El servicio y el personal era bueno tenía calamares para stater esto fue excelente. Pedí bacalao para el plato principal, el pescado estaba bien cocinado, pero la salsa era desagradable y amarga y no era un buen maridaje con este plato. Todos los demás en mi fiesta disfrutaron de las comidas y fue una noche agradable, no estoy seguro de que lo haga pronto 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great coffee here (both hot and iced). Lovely to sit both inside and outside - the atmosphere is nice and the baked goods are tasty too!

First time trying this place today ,staff very welcoming and cheerful , food not the greatest quality.I opted for Pancakes and Bacon ,pancakes were microwaved bacon was all black bits maple syrup was runny like water, ,I've worked for a big chain restaurant before and I know microwaved pancakes when I see them .

Me and my friend of 45 years had been feeling a bit peckish, so we decided to treat ourselves to a cheeky subway. we came in and were delighted by the pictures on the wall, really inspirational keep it up. We came in due to the poster on the window saying £3.99 meal deal. Since me and my friend were hungry. We jumped up due to the joy in our bodies that just spread through AIGBURTH. We entered confidently and ordered our £3.99 MELA DEALS. I had to pull out a MORGOUGE for this meal. £14? WHAT HAPPENED TO £3? this propaganda has truly made my heart DROP to my grave. Please FIX UR POSTERS! I’m now on the risk of being evicted & purple aki is on my back. Thanks for reading have a blessed day xx

Realmente decepcionado. Las papas estaban frías, cuando sacaban las calientes, eran las frías en el microondas. Gente fumando a nuestro alrededor. No estábamos al aire libre (3 paredes a nuestro alrededor) por lo que no debería permitirse.

Lovely hotel with a bar and restaurant. They had live music on in the garden. Service was excellent, rooms were big and clean. Very comfy bed. Would definitely recommend

Using a megaphone at night at 11pm to shout “Domino’s Pizza £2” in a built up residential area. Horrible business and owners to have in the area who are so selfish, blind and deaf to residents.

I like Keith's bar plenty to eat good atmosphere kids are fine dogs allowed very chilled atmosphere 👌
