Prawn toast nice. Hot and sour soup nice Ribs awful! Boiled and served in a very strange watery brown tasteless sauce. Not like any barbeque sauce I've ever had. Couldn't eat them 😞 A real shame as this has been my go- to takeaway for years. But if you can't get decent ribs I won't order from here any more As I can see from other reviews the bbq ribs are a big problem maybe just have a think about changing them back to how your customers prefer them! 😭

Went in just for a portion of chips, no smiles or feeling welcome. Chips were rock hard, always used this place for our takeaways but very disappointed.

Absolutely amazing place ! Ordered from them three times now and it's just our fav Chinese now. I love their portion sizes and we're working our way through the menu ! Took us a very long time to find a good and consistent place in the city so really recommend this place !

Best chippy in in Liverpool! So glad I have found this place as the prices are amazing and the food is even better. I definitely recommend the special mixed platter as you get to try so many different things for such a good price. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade, especially the spring rolls. Also, thank you very much for including a free extra portion of the spring rolls! Definitely found my new regular chippy❤️

Ever since they've been taken over by new management - rude as anything. Blunt, surly, an attitude on, arrogant, dismissive... just a few words to describe my experience this evening. I will not be spending money in there again.

Been looking for a regular Chinese takeaway spot since moving to Liverpool and think we’ve finally found the one. Food was amazing and the service was brilliant, portions of food were massive and the value for money is excellent. The service was brilliant spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who confirmed that we could change slight things on the Uber eats app on the notes section and they also added prawn crackers and spring rolls for free on our order and to add the chicken balls were possibly the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to my next one.

Food was delivered really quickly. The meals looked different to normal- lots of veggies which was good. Unfortunately neither dish was very tasty, the ribs were particularly disappointing. I've since learned the place is under new management, which is gutting after going to this place for 10+ years. I'll give this one a miss in future.

My favourite comfort food in Liverpool! Food was still piping hot, crunchy and packed with flavours when I arrived home tired after a long day. Literally what I needed. Tried many Chinese but the food here was definitely the most delicious and the staff are the nicest people ever - made my day 🥺 I heard the chef’s fried chicken here is good so can’t wait to try that next time. This is my usual go to place when I'm wanting decent and tasty Chinese food. I'm absolutely devastated, not sure if it's new recipes or new owners but everything is different and tastes like it's been dipped in salt before it was sent out. Bbq was brown when it used to be bright red, satay chicken was like rubber, bbq ribs usually covered in bbq sauce was dry. Salt and pepper chicken had no taste at all the only saving grace was the soft noodles.. they were pretty standard but at least I could eat something off the order. Put me right off ordering from here again.

I recently ordered from Peking Palace after I heard there was a new management! I was absolutely delighted with the experience! From the moment I placed my order, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring my order was correct and delivered promptly. The food was nothing short of amazing. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and tangy, the fried rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, and the spring rolls were deliciously crispy on the outside and filled with fresh ingredients. What impressed me the most was the generous portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful, and it was clear that a lot of care went into the preparation of each dish. The attention to detail truly made a difference. Definitely will try this again!

I’m heart broken . I use to have satay skewers every week. I’m gutted over new management food is 0 . If your still in touch with the old management can you ask can they give the recipe please , can’t stop crying

Tried the house special fried rice and chips regular and totally loved them. Portions were super big and they serve for like 3 meals, at least for me. Also staff were super friendly and helped me on how to order through the website. Will definitely go again while in Liverpool. Thank you!

Our family has been ordering at least once a month for a few years now, one of the nicest Chinese we’ve ever had. Quality is always amazing, friendly staff and great service.

Food is overpriced CHIPS are not fresh usually reheated and scrag ends you are being ripped off

The staff here are professional,I personally turned up last week and the lady I spoke to said they were closed early,but if I could wait 15 minutes shed reheat the fryer range and prepare fresh fish and chips,just amazing in this day &age people still put the customers first , extremely delicious fish and chips, I now do a 14 mile round trip each week to purchase my fish and chips from here .

Meals are nice , but the chips are dry and hard like they have been warmed up about 5 times. Never had chips so bad in my life.

Total waste of time. Spent 15 min on line choosing my food . Tried checking out to find they dont deliver to my address. Work this out. I live about a mile away. Well within there delivery area. If I ring up and place an order they will deliver. Strange.

Chips were like dead fingernails, had to throw them away, obv been sitting in oil for ages. Pie was cold.

We had a really good takeaway for my son's birthday from here. Excellent selection of vege and meat dishes. Big portions, so enough for a small breakfast each. Lovely sauces without too much MSG in them. Good UK dishes. Friendly staff.

The food isn't great not much flavour in most dishes. In my opinion though has the best deep fried sharing combination, the chicken satay sticks are unbelievable.

Terrible chicken wings, were wet and slimey, chips undercooked, tons of salt absutely awful. AVOID!!!!

Not happy about the food tonight . Warmed up soggy chips. Terrible won ton with more noodles than anythin else and barbecue ribs that have a strange burnt taste and full of fat with tasteless barbeque sauce . Curry was ok. Not happy at all. Ruined my Friday night !

Appalling service, waited 25 minutes for half rice, half chips with curry and a sausage. After I ordered 6 people walked in and ordered banquets and still got theirs before me even the ones who never even rang up I was left last when I ordered something small , first!!!! Not going here again either. When I ate the food the chips were hard and tasted raw also.

So much for "fast food" this place has exceptionally slow service. Our food took half an hour to come. Totally unacceptable given they said the food would take 15 minutes which is bad for a takeaway as it is.

Cant even rate this food...ordered won ton soup which tasted awful...salt & pepper chips which were cold and overcooked, some of them were burnt, and salt & pepper chicken strips which were so thin they tasted of batter...hardly any chicken in them...wouldn't go here again. Had to click 1 star or i couldnt post it.
