Costa Coffee in Liverpool

Manager is absolutely rude. She likes to jump to conclusions and act without thinking which is so unproffessional in a job manner of a manager. I think youse should hire a better manager and sort this girls head out because her service is vile

First time ordered Costa, the hot chocolate hazelnut was awful ,like warm, flat watery.poured it down sink ..never again, the pigs in blanket toasty looked nothing like photo ,it was a small flattened version,

Wrong food item delivered so Just Eat had to issue a refund, the coffee was ok, asked for sugars and wasn’t given anything to stir it with. Not up to scratch for what I’d expect from Costa Coffee.

One coffee size was wrong we ordered 2 large one medium and received 2 medium one large.

Costa is generally not too bad, but the Belle Vale store is atrocious. The staff are possibly the worst in any Costa, constanly get orders wrong and terrible customer service. The store constantly runs out of menu items. There are major issues with the cleanliness, especially during busy times. There are only 2 staff members, and one seems to just do Online/Phone orders. Avoid. Update on 18/7/23 Much improved! New staff who are a million times better, and it shows! Still gets busy, but the quality and service is pretty good now.

Delicious as always great service and delivery

This Costa is placed in the middle of the shopping centre. Greate for taking a breake, nice to relax and you can come here with your kids. It's a big space. Prices are like in every other Costa. Staff is lovely and caring hover, it's a different person almost every time we go there.

Opening times on google for the Gateacre branch says it closes at 6pm, attempted to visit at 5.30pm to be told they close at 5.30, please update your opening hours to save people a wasted journey.

Finally I’ve been trying to speak to someone about this order I was missing the two desserts, One Raspberry Trifle loaf cake and the crispy festive wreath.I’m so annoyed didn’t enjoy the rest of the meal too busy trying to find someone I could complain to. Not a happy customer

Great little Costa, but be careful as the car park outside has a maximum stay of 1.5 hours which I didn't realise until leaving and I'm waiting for my parking fine to arrive :(

Unfriendly staff always slow and always getting orders wrong, if you order a Large coffee they give you a Medium coffee back.

3 assistants talking to 1 customer. Had to ask them to serve us. Tables left uncleaned in 30 minutes we were there. Over £7 for 2 drinks. Certainly not the best. Coster not my cup of tea or should I say coffee!

I had walked 20 minutes with baby in pram for coffee and toastie to be told sorry “cash only” - not very helpful - had to rely on kindness of strangers - thank you to that young man

Popped in for a quick takeaway and to use the toilets. Has seats and tables inside and outside if you are walking the dog or just like the fresh air. Handy medium sized Costa near to an Aldi .vets and chemist. Petrol station nearby as well.

LOVELY as usual coffee hot food hot x service excellent tables cleared x cleaned as soon as you stand up from your seat. Floor swept. Lovely staff pleasant x always time to ask how you are x carry tray for you over to your table.

Waitress ordered that I take my hood down before she would serve me. Regardless to security "concerns" it made no difference that my face was half covered by a mask. The only reason I had my hood up was due to it raining outside and did not want to get £320 wireless headphones wet. Will not be visiting again anytime soon. Shame as I like Costa but Cafe Nero shall get my custom from now on.

Clean , a slight gripe could do with staff being more proactive, in asking people coming into shop to put masks on.

I love Costa coffee and am always in praise of them but when I visited last Saturday not impressed. Only two staff to serve a massive queue. I actually waited approx 20 mins. Also when gave points card in was told machine wasn't working in a very offhand manner. Good job takeaway coffee made up for the wait

Very difficult to get a hot cup of coffee

i visited today along with my Shih Tzu, I did not know if he would be allowed in as with a lot of places do not allow dogs. The staff were fantastic they took my order and offered us a seat outside in the sunshine, upon payment the staff told me they would being my drink and food out to me and when it arrived they had kindly brought a bowl of water out for the dog which was a lovely gesture. Thank you too the two very kind girls who were on shift you made my visit so good x

What a welcoming and friendly cafe

Wouldn't recommend this branch at all. Staff are so rude and couldn't be less helpful. Don't really warrant the one star, but can't get less.

Decent coffee (as you'd expect!), food fine but pricey, staff and surroundings pleasant. Also has the only bog in the Gateacre Local Centre!

I go here a lot for meetings and to meet friends and the staff are always really friendly and offer a great service. Love the coolers and goats cheese and chutney panini. The entrance is by the zebra crossing on Gateacre Park Drive and the car park has plenty of spaces with free parking and just next to the Aldi.

Lovely Latte, always have a toasted tea cake. Nice Clean cafe. Always well looked after.

Coffee is nice and some of the staff are lovely buy regularly find myself tiding up after other people. Don't think i've been where I haven't had to move someone else's plates and cups off my table. Can't fault to the food and drinks though.

I recently went to Costa to meet a friend for a catch-up, I found all the staff to be nice especially Chloe, she was very helpful and attentive, looking forward to my next catch-up there.

A lovely young lady quickly came and cleaned our table for us to sit down, very friendly, I think she said her name was Chloe.

I go into this costa everyday and there is a assistant manager called Magda she is a very hard worker, she is always cleaning and very friendly, also there is a lad called Kieran who makes the best coffees ,,,,,,,

Regular visitors..make excellent coffee and the staff are very pleasant

There was four staff members on doing nothing at all while I saw at least seven tables that needed clearing and cleaning, there was food all over the floor as well. Pretty much everything is half tidy. For example there were two full trays on a table and the staff member took only one, while he half cleared a table of crumbs with his hand. The toilets were vile and flies were all over the cakes. Generally a poor staff service. Also, there was a badly cracked picture that only had sellotape stopping it falling and causing injury right above the sugar and straw area. There is only one redeeming point there's a young man with dark hair who works there normally and in past experience is a great worker and always gets the drinks right, how they are supposed to be.

We turned up for a drink just then at 6:45pm an it was closed so we're fuminnnn it wasn't supposed to shut til 7pm arrrr
