The food here was tasty in the past so we ordered again. I will never order again as it was barely edible. We ordered a meat pizza and chicken kebab - both were awful. The bread with the kebab was so hard and all the food was bland.

I was a big fan of friends pizza house, but it’s gone significantly downhill. I ordered a donner wrap meal to which i found a stale tortilla wrap that was barely filled with anything. The meal also came with a handful of chips and a warm can of Dr. Pepper. Chicken strips were alright but didn’t really have much flavour. A total of £15 spent on food and delivery and it barely touched the sides. The price definitely does not reflect the quality of the food, extremely disappointed with my experience and will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely shocking ordered a kebab they added hot chilli to it, when I called they said I'd need to pick it up, if I wanted to pick up an order I would t have called a delivery. They then refused to deliver another, would never order from here ever again.

Please do not, ever, ever! Order from this place! Missing items on order, chicken has no taste and dry, the wrap was hard. Food inedible. When I contacted them I got the phone put down on me twice! I feel like going round and throwing all the food back into the shop!!!

Awful. Can’t believe they’re called a ‘pizza house’. Over an hour wait on food and the pizza looked like frozen ones. It was sloppy and cold, tasteless. Customer service was AWFUL. Hung up on us twice and refused to take our calls. Bad bad bad, avoid!

The place is a joke l. Ordered food at 8pm said estimate time is 30-40 mins....after a hour I rang back they said they had no driver and he was busy....it did turn up but that was 1h. 45min. So basically a hour late.if there was a option for no stars i would give. That

Would never order from this place again. I ordered a cheese & tomato pizza with mushroom and was sent a tandoori chicken, peppers, tomato’s & red onion pizza instead. I could not eat the pizza as I am allergic to red onion and do not like tandoori chicken! When I phoned to inform them the wrong pizza had been sent the response I received from the staff was absolutely disgusting. They blamed the driver and then stated they do not do chicken even though they sell chicken kebabs & burgers. They then stated they’d send me a new pizza but would be charging me for it!!! When I said I wouldn’t pay they said what do you want me to do? Take it up with Uber eats. I have never experienced such disrespect in all my life. Disgraceful customer service.

Fri 22/04 circa 19:30. I use Deniros Grill Kebeb on Smithdown regularly; freindly staff and great food. For a change, thought let's try Freinds pizza house, what a mistake this turned out to be. Ordered a 10 inch meat feast calazoni and asked if I could have cheesey chips as well, the guy said pizza already comes with chips. I asked if they can add cheese to my chips, they added £1.20, which I was paying, but, just as a talking point I asked "1.20 for cheese?" The attitude shown was absolutely ridiculous... "You know how much cheese is, I can refund your money?" I just replied that I'm fasting and not going to respond in anger, but the the attitude of the staff was completely wrong! After a few moments, once I got my thoughts back, I did ask for a refund and went to Deniros, where I had a friendly conversation with the staff while they made me the exact same order.... Freinds, there was nothing freindly about my experience!! May want to rethink the name or send staff to Deniros for FREINDLEY customer services training!!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Second time I've ordered and order wrong again. Missed two meals off the order. Phoned and they said they had no drivers to deliver it. Took my 14 year old daughter to pick up. She went in and the staff were really rude said it must be their other shop. She came back to the car. I went in and they were all there smirking like it was funny. Talking about deliveries when they had just told me on phone they had no drivers. So got order wrong then rude and arrogant. Wouldn't give them.another penny. Food not great either

disgraceful i've eaten here for years since the original owners and was lovely. tonight i ordered burger and curly fries in an empty shop. watched a man clean the grill for 10 mins and then here's your food? no burger even placed on the grill? so i said are you magic? he smiled an gave me a bag which has obviously been ordered and not collected. stone cold burger and chips? which i returned disgusted. a lady and her husband ran this for years and it was faultless,last night there were 9 staff in an empty shop and couldn't even be arsed to make the food i ordered. no wonder it was empty! absolute disgrace! i will never be eating here ever again! the original owners would be disgusted in these using their name.

Solid place to get a decent pizza from, never disappoint and its a go-to Takeaway place for my family. The pizza is always delivered quite quickly in my opinion. Would recommend 👍👍

Used to really like freinds until the food went down hill and they started getting easy orders wrong but the best was to come order and pay for donner and chicken kababs just get donner or just chicken but you pay for both and they wasn't cooking the food properly as when you bite into chips there still frozen and chicken is still alive on the wrap sad as freinds was good place once upon a time 😞

Chicken was disgusting, the thought of eating another piece of chicken made me want to be sick. I’m wondering how you can mess up fried chicken so badly. It also made me ill some few hours later. Terrible service too. This place is not my friend.

The very idea of this pizza house being my friend is an insult to me and all my ancestors before me. I had 5 pieces of chicken to chomp through and by the third i felt like i needed to head to a&e for a stomach pump, nice chips but even they couldn't bring my rating above a 1 star.

Got a takeaway from here lastnight to say disappointed would be an understatement. I paid nearly £8 for a kebab and chips i expected it to be the standard of friends across the road. Pizzas great. Kebabs from across the Road are also great but ordered a nan and a special nan. The special nan was made before and was stale. Not fresh and not special. The plain nan was made fresh

68 mins late. Ordered 18:41, due 19:12 didn't turn up until 20:20 [1hr 29mins ] time was increased 5 or 6 times, several drivers turned up to the restaurant and turned away (so clearly not the fault of Uber Eats or drivers). Getting in touch with store/cancelling order is impossible online, had to call and suddenly the order was ready. Nice food but a total, deal-breaking frustrating experience, wasted a good part of the evening checking delays and chasing order, time is priceless and wasting it is unacceptable, for this reason we will not be returning to ordering online, sorry. Suggestions; [1] Don't take more orders than you can fulfil in reasonable time. [2] Give honest estimates so we have the choice to wait and better use the time or choose to order elsewhere. Or people will just feel strung along and resentful.

just a 1 minutes ago the delivery driver from the shop is call me to come outside and to get my order when I open the door hi been put my pizza on flour whit out the bag is been mat The food is amazing but the Service is 00000000000000 And the side of coleslaw they make in dip for meal ore ketchup like a souse dip and is 90p to eat a coleslaw in 1 souse dip I no gonna order never never never

ordered for the 1st time last night absolutely impressed very quick delivery piping hot when it came lovely food & the kebabs are the best ive had with special sauce will defo be ordering from here again plus u spend over 16 pnd & get free 7 inch ×2 pizza/ garlic bread very impressed would totally reccomme ordered 4 t 2nd time thus time not at all nice as t 1st one food was cold no were near as nice as 1st order dnt think will be ordering again

nice kebab fresh bread but stingey on the chicken . Been a few times over the years and it is one of the best but the amount of chicken for nearly 7 quid isnt worth it. It's about 6 small pieces of chicken.

Check Tripadvisor reviews too, absolute load of rubbish. The tatty bits of chicken where over done, hardly any salad & when I dared complain, I literally got shouted at by all the staff, especially by the so called ‘chef’. I was so upset & left practically in tears. I definitely would not recommend, there are better kebab shops with good customer service, in this district of Liverpool.

Hi there, not here to make an complaint about the food as I've never got it, just to say how low Was the service, tried to contact Uber Eats also but of course not a space to make a complaint... anyway doesn't matter - finally got in touch with the place that suposse I Collect my pizza from- of course it was kind of my mistake as I never used Uber Eats before that i didn't select a right option - when the worker answered the phone i couldnt get any info frome her so she's passed her college- when I've told him the story (ecplaining that I've make mistake) kindly askig if there is any way if they could deliver it to me or jusy refund me the money- of course answer was no as this isn't thier fault because its my fault (which i already know...just btw) so concluding hopefully you are your fortune grown up with this extra 12£ and enjoy your pizza xx

Been getting kebabs from this place on and off for about 4 years and they truly are the best kebabs in Liverpool. Great quality meat and freshly made bread right in front of you, also a good range of sauces, I'd recommend the special sauce 👍

After eating many kebabs from Friends on Smithdown Road I thought my family would try Friends Pizza hoping for the same quality. Sadly it was the complete opposite, we ordered 2 pizzas to share along with cheesy fries last saturday. My pepperoni pizza looked like a cheese pizza, I could not see any pepperoni nor could I see any tomato on the base at all, turns out the pizza had a massive layer of chees, then some pepperoni slices then another massive layer of cheese, the pizza just tasted of cheese the pepperoni hadn't cooked at all so no infused flavour of pepperoni on the pizza. The 2nd pizza was equally as bad and again tasted of cheese only as no tomato sauce at all on the pizza base. Am reluctant to try the Friends kebab in case the same poor food quality is now being served there. The worst pizzas I have ever been served.

Very clean place..have not tried their kebabs but always busy with customers which explains very well. I spmetime Buy Naans here, naan is very expensive compared to other takeaways around here and its a normal naan nothing Special about it. Staff is very good and work very neat and clean however no smile on face. Work environment is very fast, but very clean. you dont have to wait long for food, order food and piping hot food is ready in minutes. Never seen such a clean takeaway, no spillage or leaking or carbon on the wall.

The bread the kebab came in was unfortunately the best thing. expensive compared to other shops.

OMG has to be the best donner kebabs around. The special naan bread makes the kebab. I’ve never really been a donner meat person I always got chicken kebabs but Friends has definitely converted me. Portion size are really good as well even for the kids meals. Only down side is that they don’t deliver, well maybe that’s a good thing for my waist line

Really good kebabs, especially after an evening in Craft over the road. They don't deliver which is probably a good thing for my cholesterol levels but is mildly annoying.

They serve very good and the staff are very nice and kind. The food they give is delicious and it should be enjoyed by everyone. My one problem with this however is that it doesn't deliver food, which could be better in some cases.

FRIENDS KEBAB SHOP ON SMITHDOWN ROAD in my view should not have any star ratings whatsoever. On 11 September 2018 they were caught out lying in court over poisoning me with food which should not have been sold as it was unfit for human consumption. I feel sorry for any person who falls ill after eating from there. FORTUNATELY I HAD VIDEO EVIDENCE and used it when I intervieved them over their rank food shortly after buying and eating some of it. They used many excuses to evade having to turn up in court. Eventually they did and were proved to be liars and were found guilty of poisoning me. They constantly called me a liar and now justice has been served with them being fined over SEVEN THOUSAND POUNDS. At one point of interviewing them, the manager tried to intimidate me but it had no effect. Be careful if and or when buying from them.

Expensive as far as takeaways go but you do get what you pay for, it's the best kebab in Liverpool on fresh naan and the portion sizes are huge.

Best kebabs in Liverpool , fresh huge chicken kebabs made with fresh handmade special nan In a clay oven , with a wide variety of sauces , the masala on The chicken is just right and the salad is huge and fresh including a fab mint and shredded cabbage .

The first ¼ of my kebab was really good, although the chicken was a bit minty, which I personally am not that keen on…first bits of lamb were amazing but others were a bit chewy. The naan looked amazing but lacked moisture, instead pulling apart like a nice soft one it ripped more…but what wrecked it for me totally was the chilli sauce!! The sauce was far far too hot and that was even after asking for extra mayo, which was quite runny and not that good either…so for £8 I don’t think I would buy one again. If I was going to give my view…better quality sauces and more moisture in the naan would definitely bring the rating up. 07.09.18 Wish it was a joke....but it's 100% truth...if you can't face a truthful review don't reply negatively!! Hope they get better soon.

Amazing food if you haven't been you need to go here, food is made fresh in front of your eyes only trouble is when you order your food you see other peoples food being made and it makes you want that it all looks good (toilet friendly no runs)
