Milo Lounge in Liverpool

First time trying this place today ,staff very welcoming and cheerful , food not the greatest quality.I opted for Pancakes and Bacon ,pancakes were microwaved bacon was all black bits maple syrup was runny like water, ,I've worked for a big chain restaurant before and I know microwaved pancakes when I see them .

Food tasted great. Not worth the food poisoning we've been dealing with for the last few hours though.

I got some garlic and cheese fires omg they was dripping in garlic butter it was disgusting the chips was swimming in them also had to ask for a side plate won’t be coming back !!

Came in on 17th may 2025 first time here . My husband ordered brisket burrito, I ordered lamb flatbread . The wait was quite long and there was a customer with a dog inside that wouldn't stop barking very annoying whilst trying to sit and talk and eat . The flatbread was like a brick no mint yoghurt was added like the menu stated and there was nobody who came over to ask how are meal was going . Didn't enjoy the meal as it was to tough to eat couldnt cut the flatbread with a knife it was that tough! The diet cokes were flat, lot of food left on the plates the burrito had more rice than actual meat which was disappointing.. won't be returning , plenty of other places I have been to on lark lane all without a problem .

I had a lovely time and food was delish. And the person who served me was nice. I was sad to see that whoever made my drink put a sad face on it ☹️ it wouldn’t have made my day if that frown was turned upside down. Missed opportunity for amazing service!

Went there with friends and two small kids and all went perfect. Excellent food (we tasted burgers,tapas and Korean food) and the service was amazing. Will recommend for people that visits this area

First time visit with my daughter and the staff kindly found us a table for 20 minutes time. Had a wander up Lark Lane before returning for what is hands down one of the nicest meals we have eaten. Such a lovely place, great vibe and brilliant staff. Can’t wait to come back.

Loved the food here! Hubby had a big breakfast and I had tapas, patatas bravas, harissa chicken skewers and whipped feta and honey. Everything was extremely tasty!

They jave a new chef, terribly slow… they are unable to catch up with the orders on the table and the staff is rude when i poi t this out

Nice setting but the service is poor- felt like I was putting out the staff by being there. They seemed too busy...maybe understaffed? Self order using your phone. Food OK Wouldn't go again

Fantastic meal at Milo Lounge once again. New menu dishes include the Sri Lankan Curry with Marinated Chicken with was delicious, followed by the new Tiramichoux dessert which is just as good as it looks. Great service, as always. Top notch.

The place was very cold,chicken was burnt, sweat potatoes oil was very old,service time was too long and the cheese in the burger was very dry,I don't recommend it!

I was a bit shocked when I went for a meal yesterday (4/3/25). Atmosphere was poor to say the least, the table hadn't been cleaned after their previous client, and some of the staff seemed less than friendly to say the least - especially the young lady behind the counter who took our order. Barely warm fries didnt help much either. Most off-putting was that we had to continually swipe away little flies (like fruit flies) which were seen around our food when we were eating. All my previous visits were a pleasure but this latest one has put me off for good.

When we first arrived, the booking we had placed was not on the booking sheet the staff had. Luckily, they were able to seat us anyways. We ordered drinks to the table which were lovely and came relatively quickly after we had ordered through the QR code. We then ordered 2 boards of tapas. These took 25 minutes to arrive! We were then offered 2 side plates between the 5 of us for these, which of course wasnt sufficient so we asked for one each. These were brought down and we enjoyed each of the tapas plates. Only note would be there was not enough bread/nachoes to go with these. We had ordered our mains before the tapas came in hopes there wouldnt be much of a wait time. We waited an hour before our mains arrived. From the first main arrived, until we had all items we had ordered, it had been 20 minutes. One meal came without a side, an extra side hadnt arrived and a full main dish was missing when we were asked if we had everything we needed. Of course, we informed them of this and after a further 10 minutes this was rectified. Our tapas boards were also cleared at this point and after asking 3 times our cutlery was replaced. We all enjoyed our food after we eventually got it to the table however the service and wait time put a negative spin on our family reunion and I would not return again.

He estado aquí un par de veces con mi pareja a lo largo de los años viniendo para el almuerzo y el desayuno siempre bueno y para las bebidas de la noche con amigos. Mi visita más reciente fue justo después de mi cumpleaños Marzo 2024 . Mi pareja y yo decidimos aprovechar la oferta de tapas de los martes que incluía una bebida. Al igual que con el resto de la comida que hemos comido aquí, las tapas estaban muy bien y en mi opinión la mejor copa de vino tinto de la casa que he tomado. El personal es siempre agradable y el lugar parece popular y tiene un buen ambiente.

First interaction upon entering was less than helpful or friendly, wasn’t advised I needed to order at the bar. Lots of staff mulling around left me sitting for over 10 minutes then I asked and was told. Granted the guy on the bar was pleasant. Coffee was tasty but warm. Food was tasty but the soup was a challenged as hadn’t been sieved and had small shards of the vegetable used so had to fish them out of my mouth with each spoonful I didn’t finish the soup. No one came to ask if my meal was ok and whether I’d like anything else and used dishes not cleared.

You need to try their Shatsuka (not sure if this is correct spelling) but it was nice. I love the vibe there. It is dog friendly. You can park just by sefton park. It is perfect for chilled brunch

Lovely cocktails, out of the three we had, i think the lemon meringue was the nicest.

We were a group of 18. Every meal looked absolutely delicious and very positive feedback from everyone. Served quickly. We have booked a group meal here quite a few times and it really works well with the back little room and no problem splitting bills as everyone goes up and orders their own food. Food always great, fantastic healthy choices too. Was very busy and only a Tues lunchtime so shows they are doing it well!! Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Thank you.

No puedo elogiar al personal aquí lo suficiente. Éramos una fiesta si 5 , uno de los cuales tenía algunas alergias muy complejas, la joven que nos sirvió tomó nuestro pedido y tomó nota de todos los alérgenos . La comunicación era genial y ella explicó que daría instrucciones al equipo de cocina. Incluso antes de que llegara la comida, la joven vino y verificó con nosotros sobre ciertos ingredientes durante las preparaciones. La comida era muy buena, pero lo que lo hizo para nosotros fue lo fantástico y comprensivo que era el personal, nada era demasiado problema y recomendaría Milo lounge

Nice place for lunch or dinner, but a little too expensive menus compared to what they offer. Pet-friendly.

Food was fine ( we had tapas and the burgers ) However for a Sat eve it was very quiet with little atmosphere. The place was cold though and most punters kept their coats on. This was made even worse when staff decided to open front doors wide at 8pm to bring in outside chairs and move to back of premises .This went on for 10 - 15?mins! Showed no consideration to diners . We along with others in quickly made our exit. This procedure could easily have been done later in the evening . Sadly won’t be returning !

Fab place, the smash burger is one of the best burgers I've eaten in years , kid and dog friendly and the staff catered for our large group no issues , well done everyone can't wait to come back

Booked a table, for a late lunch, left us standing there with my 70 year old mother, and s they failed to save the table. Pity it the food there has been good in the past. Will try again on our next visit to lark lane

The customer service is very poor now. The staff are very miserable and not very personable, especially to customers who visit often. I had a Buddha bowl and a lot of it was inedible because too much vinegar was added. Very over priced and small portions.

Food and service wonderful. The atmosphere is more like a glorified wetherspoons. Incredibly loud, not able to have a conversation over the packed room.

Tuve mi cena de boda aquí en octubre, no puedo expresar lo fantástico que era el personal y la comida, especialmente Sarah, tuvimos unos pocos miembros mayores de la familia, un intolerante al gluten y una vegetariana en nuestro grupo junto con dos niños pequeños, elegimos aquí debido a las variadas opciones de menú, todo el mundo disfrutó a fondo de sus comidas y el personal fue más allá para hacer mi día increíble, fue debido al ambiente relajado encantador que tuvimos un día tan especial, recomendaría encarecidamente comer en Milo a todos los grupos de edad.

Took some colleagues for breakfast this morning and on arrival about 9am, I greeted the young lady behind the counter. There was no 'greeting" back, there was no welcoming smile, to be honest I felt like I was an inconvenience - only that my colleagues had sat at the table I would have walked out. The four breakfast came out at a reasonable speed but the mushrooms and tomatoes were cold. All in all the experience was not worth £54.65, really disappointed been here a few times in the past so am going to put it down to a one off bad experience.

Terrible inedible cold food. Sausage was undercooked. After spending over £50 none of the family could finish their food and we had to go somewhere else. Understaffed. Wish I could get a refund. Felt like a bush tucker trial!

Go there quite often, food is always amazing had lounge burger and sweet potato fries tonight with side of garlic bread, just delicious. Also dog friendly, very handy for pre walkies breakfast.

Best Monday decision. First time visiting and needed somewhere to eat after work and wasn't disappointed. The staff were super friendly asking if we had any dietary issues or allergies. On a Monday after 5pm they do a fantastic deal if you buy a main/burger you can get a free dessert. What a bargain! Food was delicious, vegan burger, cowboy burger and buttermilk chicken, I'd have happily eaten more if I could fit it in. The atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming, you can even bring your dogs. They have dog bowls and sweet treats waiting for them which is adorable. Will happily go back!

This place is the business, good food with good staff and excellent gluten free options. Also dog friendly!

Situated on Lark Lane, a popular place to stop for refreshments...we sat outside, on a Saturday...the staff were friendly and very efficient....the cappuccino were nice, but not very warm at all.

Been a regular here for over 5 years with my Pug Percy (his favourite place on the lane). All the staff are friendly and welcoming even when it is busy and they are under pressure they always make the time to say hello. Really easy to order and the service is fast. Milo offer decent quality at affordable prices. A place not to be missed! A big shout out to the staff who always look after us and are great ambassadors for Milo. Thank You

Lovely venue. The food was nice..it's just my bugbare of food brought out at different times. It was a special occasion, and my food came ages before anyone else's. Would have made a difference if all came out together. I appreciate that's also due to it not being table service. Otherwise, it's a really nice place.

Wonderful location, right next to the park. The food is beyond delicious with a wide selection of options and a separate vegan menu. The staff is very friendly. The falafel salad was scrumptious. We spent 88 pounds on 4 adults and a kid.

Waited 10 minutes to be served after sitting down, not really busy, then we left.

Very nice place with very good customer service! Unfortunately, something was going wrong with their milk. I've ordered an iced flavoured latte and it came with a non pleasant taste and, nicely the waitress changed my drink for an other flavour one but I could still taste that kind of "open milk bottle stayed in the fridge" The food was very good.

Hubby and myself went to Lark lane on 18/7/2024 and we walked up then down looking for some lunch ,it takes a while because i am fussy but we liked the look of the menu so we decided to eat there . We sat outside and ordered our food and drinks , i ordered the Buddha bowl with a side of fries with a watermelon iced tea and my hubby ordered the halloumi burger which came with fries with a beer,every thing from the greeting from our lovely waitress ,the amazing food (Great job chefs our food was fab thank you)and drinks ,then the amazing quirky decor which we both loved was just fab, in fact it was so good we went back for coffee and hot chocolate after another walk down the lane and they both tasted amazing. As for the price we thought it was very reasonable ,especially in times of rising costs of food items, gas/ electric ,staff wages and work place pensions ,in fact just about everything has risen so i am very mindful of why restaurant prices have gone up but we do have a choice of looking at the prices on the menu and choosing to stay and have a great meal or not stay and go somewhere cheap to be served cheap food. No place better after a walk in the park. Clean, airy and quaint.. Love the decor and the server's dress code. Good section of dishes at reasonable prices.

This is a nice place to go, be it a birthday, a meet-up, somewhere to chill, take the family, including the dog. It has a nice & relaxed feel to the place. Staff dress casual, so it makes it feel homely as if you're in a family or friends place. This is 1 of my sons' top places to go, the all day breakfast is a favourite. It's clean too. The food is cooked like it's at ur Nans

Milo Lounge were so accommodating to my group of twelve friends on a busy Sunday morning. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff were friendly and attentive to us. The food was fab too. Really recommend this place if you're visiting Liverpool!

The service was prompt and good, but sadly the food ordered was way overpriced and mediocre. The tuna melt had withered leaves in for salad. Chips came in little cups and had about eight chips in each. The only highlight was the banoffee pie which was delicious, but considering I spent £53 there it wasn't really worth it.

Lovely place that we went to after being in Sefton park with our dog! The sun was shining so milo lounge had the windows opened looking out in to the street. The menu was so good it was hard for us to pick food. They had a lovely dog area tucked away in the corner with dog bowls, fresh water and some dog treats. I got the chicken Kiev burger with garlic and Parmesan chips and my partner got the halloumi bits and beef quesadillas from the tapas menu and a small mac and cheese. Omg the food was AMAZING!! Would recommend the chicken kiev burger if you’re a fan of garlic butter( who isn’t!). The halloumi bits were nice and came with a spicy chilli jam. The beef quesadillas was also really good! Mac and cheese was a very good simplistic Mac and cheese and sometimes it’s the simple things that are better! Everything came out pipping hot! Would definitely come again for more tapas!!

So many good reviews we thought we'd give it a try yesterday for lunch. We arrived, were greeted by a nice man who seated us with menus. When my cousin and partner went to bar to order food, they said the staff member (female) behind the bar was rolling her eyes at them like they were disturbing her. Then they tried to order the food but were told 'there are no pancakes and there's a 30 minute wait', with further rolling of the eyes. Apparently her attitude was so bad that my partner and cousin returned to the table and just said 'let's go somewhere else, it seems we're putting them out and the girls attitude was awful.' So, Manager of Milo, you've just lost customers who live locally who didn't even get to try your food due to one awful member of staff. You need to get that sorted! Obviously, we won't be returning, such a shame.

Great for brunch - and cater for vegan and food intolerance really well. Fresh orange juice - yay. Almond milk double yay and l liked my shakshuka with chickpeas.

10:00am. 20 may 24. Veggie breakfast perfection. Full English lovely. Top service. Busy place and staff do there best. Be patient, the food is worth it. 100% recommended both breakfasts. 100% recommended the flatwhite coffee. 100% recommended fresh orange juice.

as a restauranteur I was disgusted by the standard of the cooking and the size of the portion. initially it did not look the bests the muffin was one step up from a Bellini, the mushrooms where virtually non existent and what where there were minute and the poached eggs where old eggs very small and over cooked. this is my second bad experience in Milo lounge I thought I would give it a second chance and yet again I was massively disappointed, I will not be recommending milo or be returning. How this place has 4.4 rating is beyond me saying that it’s 3 on other sites.

Excellent brunch today lunch meal deal was superb and priced to budget diners well worth my first visit will be coming back again
