The best restaurants serving Default food in Ellel, University Lancaster North West

It was worth the visit and a great setting... found staff friendly and helpful and food was good and good size portions. We took our coffee on the comfortable seats and relaxed.

Small cafe on the riverside walk at Conder Green. The menu is not huge, but it is different, with exceptionally good food … the Summer Salad is to die for. The staff are lovely, really friendly. Even the toilets are good! Well worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious - every bite was a sheer delight! So much care taken in the combination of flavours and presentation. Homemade too with warm and friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed our Mother’s Day.treat! Thank you.

This was a delightful find. Such friendly staff, lovely view and delicious food and drink. I had the potato cake stack and my friend had the breakfast omelette. Both were outstanding and piping hot. Would go back as often as I could

Fab cafe style food and drink. Lots of choice of both hot and cold foods with a selection of drinks both hot and cold also.

Located just over the motorway bridge when heading out of lancaster there is a shop and cafe as well as the animal housing. Visits to the animals are by appointment.

We stopped here to eat but the kitchen was being refurbed so no food, had a quick drink but service was shocking and would not return. A little boy came with his dad and the boy was told he was not allowed to eat his ice lolly on the premises, when he stepped outside he was then told no not even in the beer garden or carpark and was made to stand on the edge of the carpark/busy rd - totally understand the no outside food policy but jeeze - a kid with an ice lolly is taking it to the extreme.

Enjoy our motor bike trips here. Enjoyed coffee and tasty burgers. Good service and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating and public loos across the road.

We had a delicious lovely dinner, rented a room for the night and then had the best breakfast we have had in England since we arrived 30 days ago. Highly recommend you stay here and eat here as often as possible.

We absolutely loved spending the weekend at Lancaster House Hotel. The rooms and hotel itself was of high quality and the friendliness of the entire staff made us feel so welcome. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and the food was brilliant. Bar was nice and cosy and had a good selection of drinks and snacks too. Lots of free parking available on site, which is close to the entrance, making it easy to offload luggage. Didn’t get a chance to try out the health facilities, but overall the price of the stay definitely was worth it, and is not what you’d expect for such a top class place. Thank you to the whole team at the hotel, would recommend 100%!

Another very nice lunch ! Charming pub, friendly and helpful staff as always. Excellent varied menu certainly some thing for everyone! Dog friendly, we will be back !

Fabulous dinner. Nicola was well organised. She seated 40 hockey players for 2 and 3 course dinners. Everything was fabulous. Definitely recommend.
