We just ate there and it was wonderful. There were no free rooms, but we will definitely return!!

The prettiest setting in Thurnham Hall, a great menu with an option for everyone like Sunday roasts and pizza, an extensive drink menu with coffee, teas, wines, beers and cider. We each ordered something different and we all loved our meals. Literally the best meal I’ve had in the UK ever so far. It was a perfectly balanced dish and a nice portion size. My cider was perfect and great with the meal. Highly recommend eating here if you’re ever in the area.

Absolutely wonderful weekend. Lemontree Restaurant we were a party of 12. We had wonderful meal Saturday night and fantastic afternoon tea just before leaving today. Can honestly say we have never had such beautiful food, presented and served anywhere in the world. Everything was piping hot, delicious and plenty portion size. Staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for you. We are back in May can't wait to be honest. Just wished you did breakfast too that would be amazing.

Celebrated family occasion here today, and amazed at how great it was. Expected a lovely lunch, but was by far the best Sunday roast we’ve ever had. The beef was cooked to perfection (as were all the other dishes). Really relaxed atmosphere, and the perfect venue to relax. Surprising value for such good quality; just remember to save room for dessert. Especially recommend the Black Forest pavlova, 10/10.

Exceptional food and service. We've been visiting Thurnham Hall for many years and this is the best restaurant service ever!! It's worth booking in advance as they do get busy. We ate here twice this week and each meal was delicious. Chilli squid, ham hock terrine, steak and ale pie, keralan prawn curry and fish and chips - all excellent. Fresh ingredients, very well cooked and presented. Well done to the chef and the service team. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

Amazing food at realistic prices. There was 4 of us and we all had different starters/ mains/ sweets - all were perfect. The service was friendly and relaxed yet easily obtained. The only downsides - there was no music on (speakers visible in the room though) so you could hear other people's conversations. It was too brightly lit. An elderly gentleman complained he couldn't see his food which resulted in the main lights being turned up to high. Perhaps just increase the candles on the individuals table as it takes the atmosphere away?

As usual, as a vegetarian, I was well catered for. The food and service was excellent. The price I am quoting includes drinks & night caps.

Such a lovely place to eat ,set in stunning surroundings.Friendly with a really great relaxed atmosphere. It's just perfect and the food is Amazing. We eat out regularly and this was the absolute best we've had for a long time. 5 stars +
