I love the sourdough bases and the pizzas are all really tasty and great value for money. The service is excellent too. Well worth the visit.

Heysham is fortunate to have a winning combination of a friendly club bar staff and a local pizza place, Diplos Pizza. Their sourdough pizzas are prepared fresh to order. The menu is not lacking for choice of toppings. They create a flavorful combination of fresh ingredients on every menu item. If you choose to create a one of a kind pizza they will not hesitate to provide you with a masterpiece of a pie. We enjoyed a 12 inch with half Nduja with Feta and half with Procuito and Onions. The ingredients are fresh, the sourdough quite tasty and the staff super friendly. Diplos offers friendly service, top quality pizza and a friendly husband and wife team that is a winning combination for the Heysham area food scene. Best pizza I've had in a long time (and I'm a big fan of pizza) all four of us loved it - really good bases, generous toppings, perfectly cooked. Oh and the scotch bonnet chilli sauce dip is possibly the hottest thing I've ever eaten in my life (but I couldn't stop eating it!)

Absolutely delicious and outstanding service

Pizzas were great. Staff were lovely despite being on the go since very early morning doing an event! They even brought me a replacement when I accidentally dropped my garlic sauce all over the floor! Will definitely come again

We booked Diplos Pizza for our Wedding and we are SO GLAD we did! Guests were talking about how outrageously tasty the pizza was for days after the wedding. Tried Diplos pizza in the George and dragon. Service was accomodating from the start, asking when would be best to bring out side orders and main pizzas. The side order of garlic bread came out first, the group conclusively said remarks such as this is the best garlic bread we’ve ever had. The pizzas that followed kept up to the same level of quality, thin crust, lots of toppings and cooked in a pizza oven.the food and service is a hidden treasure in Lancaster that deserves recognition and all 5 stars. First time order, but without a doubt is now the first of many! Delicious pizzas, incredible dough with very good quality toppings! Very knowledgeable on allergies/intolerances which was so helpful! So lucky to have this gem on our doorstep and they have without a doubt gained a new regular!

We have eaten Diplos at Heysham Cricket Club twice, and both times the pizzas were absolutely delicious. Really fresh ingredients, and made with love and care. The pizza bases are perfect - thin fresh & crispy - I order 'The Bay' which is mouthwateringly good. Friendly atmosphere and great service. Kid and dog friendly. Would 100% recommend.

It’s so lovely to see a small business doing amazing things in the Lancashire food scene! Best pizza I have ever had, genuinely. The only contender would be a pizzeria I visited on my trip to Rome last year! The service was 10/10 and the kind lady (I didn’t catch her name unfortunately) explained how to use the loyalty app and talked us through the menu - she knows what she’s doing to make a customer feel cared for and wanting to come back again and again! All in all a very pleasant experience… it’s nice to support small and I can really see a big future for Diplo’s Pizza as Neapolitan trendy pizzas is an up and coming market and I really wish you guys all the successes you deserve! Had the pleasure of one of their pizzas the other night. Couldn’t have been more helpful when I rang to modify my order, nothing was any trouble. The pizza was on time, and deliciously hot when I got it home. The base was perfect and the vegetarian topping magnificent. I’ll definitely be going again. Have already passed details on to friends who are keen to try too. I wish you every success in this new venture.

The best pizzas I’ve ever had. Exactly what Heysham needed, a decent place to go for food! You can takeaway or eat in at the cricket club - I usually opt to eat in with a pint. Great food and great atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for more 🌟
