Small cafe on the riverside walk at Conder Green. The menu is not huge, but it is different, with exceptionally good food … the Summer Salad is to die for. The staff are lovely, really friendly. Even the toilets are good! Well worth a visit.

3 of us had lunch here yesterday for the first time. Very impressed: lovely fresh home made food served by friendly, helpful people in a delightful setting. Parking was good for a Saturday. There is a nice walk either on the coastal path or along the shaded lane. Highly recommended.

Has to be one of my favourite cafes in the UK. Not far off the M6 yet in a tranquil and beautiful setting. Staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is excellent always served attractively, demonstrating that extra little care.

2We have been here on numerous occasions and always have a great night. The food was superb and the four of us had the mezze. It was really tasty and hot. We were well looked after from start to finish by lovely staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant We will definitely return and look forward to our next visit.

Tithebarn Hill The Shop At Glasson DockCan’t fault anything about lunch today. We had a Jacket Potato each from the Specials board, Caramelised Onion, Peas, Sausage and cheese, topped with Crispy Onions and Gravy , the picture doesn’t do it justice, was very good and the kids had Jacket Potato with Cheese and Beans and Chicken Strips, again both very good. Staff were great and very clean and well run and can see why it gets busy.

Cowan BridgeWhat a gorgeous little tearoom, wonderful and accommodating staff, made us feel super welcome :), I love the traditional English cosy decor, super delicious homemade food! Stopped here back on the way to Yorkshire from the Lake District
