Always lovely hot fresh food and delivery is always fast when we order

My friend and I popped in on our lunch break for a mug of tea. We shared New York baked cheesecake and chocolate brownie. They were both delicious. We have had the lovely scones on previous visits, and they come served warm.

I got the fully loaded burger and it was absolutely delicious. it was so juicy

I Didn't request collection when making the order. (late) Merch called me bak abt pick up. I said cancel, wires crossed, but he knew very well.

Under new management! Great community pub, very friendly and has allsorts of entertainment through the week including beckys bingo and weekends are ace too. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me 😃

What a disgrace.. Staff unfriendly and cook extremely unhygienic like the rooms. Mold is dripping from the shower head... Simply disgusting...

Chips was cold egg fried rice had no egg and was cold lamb tikka was just paste and lamb. 🐑 was not edible would not recommend

Went to this chippy one Saturday night,we phoned our order in so it would be ready when we arrived,the Chinese food was ready but had to wait for chips.I asked how much it was and the Chinese lady said it was exactly £19, i said that I was being overcharged as it was about £1-50 cheaper with the prices up on the board in the chippy and in the menu, she looked a bit sheepish and just said it has gone up.when we got home only five minutes away the Chinese food was cold but the chips were fine.I can’t understand how they can put prices up without putting it on the board and in the menu,I think she was ripping me off. Avoid at all cost,we definitely won’t be going back.

Was walking the dog with my sister and stopped by the wellington for a change as i usually go the child of hale,will be going again as the food and customer service was amazing.the food came very fast and was very nice,would recommend as the restaurant is also dog freindly.

We called in for some food on our way home from work 8.30pm. Went through the drive through, the food was dry and inedible. We order it sometimes through just eat and it's never a problem., won't be calling in again.

The food was cooked to perfection, it was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect and made our afternoon celebrating my mums birthday.

Arrived for lunch with my son asked if I could sit in a empty booth and was told no its booked Was shown to a table by the toilets next to three other tables with guests so was not desirable I asked for another table please and was told I could sit in the bar area . Jodey told me all the other vacant tables were booked for bookings frankly I disbelieve this comment but it was her manner of sarcastically speaking that I felt was unacceptable with a smirk and a thankyou when I complained and asked he name Sorry I come out for lunch not to be treated like a child at school being told you will sit where I tell you attitude Had a lovely lunch elsewhere and sorry to say I won't be back so soon to have such poor service

We were pleasantly surprised that at 6:30 on a bank holiday Friday night we were served promptly by attentive friendly staff and the food was fresh and tasty. We were able to sit outside with our dog to eat

Just had a couple of new items on their menu for lunch which were thoroughly enjoyed. Emma, Nathan & Tyler's service was excellent today specially under extremely busy circumstances (funeral wake). My husband and are frequent visitors to the "Oak" and are always satisfied with thefriendly staff and atmosphere.
