KFC Widnes - Gerard Street in Halton

We called in for some food on our way home from work 8.30pm. Went through the drive through, the food was dry and inedible. We order it sometimes through just eat and it's never a problem., won't be calling in again.

On my oder missing 8 chicken wings and releuer popcorn and the chicken is so black I think there didn't change the oil I paid for this order £26.99 we didn't eat its all gone to the bin I called the restaurant the manager say am sorry I don't need sorry please check the order before you send it to the customer we paid for the food never ever order again this is second time happens from this KFC

Not a fan not being able to use the tills, this store only has 2 of those serve yourself screens, which causes waiting times to go up. It is also confusing for those over 50 on how to use it. At least mcdonalds has both options, people like to pay cash and order with a human being at a till point.

Sarah was fantastic helping us through ordering our meal at the kiosk. Hope all staff do that when needed

Tasty food but slightly cold. Only thing that was warm/hot was the gravy

Food was good but waited ages whilst all the just eat type vendors are served. Some staff good, some definitely not.

The best KFC in Widnes is by the best JD GYM in Widnes. I go to JD Gym to train followed a KFC high protein chicken bucket for afters.

My reports on this place has really gone down I was in there last Friday 28th of June I order at a kiosk instead of a member of staff I ordered chips unseasoned which they don't ask when you are ordering please a wrap payed for felt fine later on in bed all that night I was vomiting I was vomiting for the past 5 days after that I couldn't eat drink of do anything I was on the verge off taking my self to the hospital it got that I know in future I will not be eating there again that's for sure

Found a bone in the popcorn chicken I ordered for my toddler.

Had food poisoning all night not good would defo not eat here again ..

Staff always very friendly and helpful

Food arrived cold and 51 min after placing the order. The app doesn't give you any option to leave reviews so I had to leave one on Google. The chickens are very salty too 🙄😡

Chicken is fresh most of the time

Loud music, dirty tables and floors. Staff standing doing nothing whilst eating area desperately needs cleaning. Saying that aren't all KFCs the same. Oh don't sit by the toilets, smells rank

The zinger burger gave me food poisoning and made me throw up 10 times. Thanks kfc

Service was great and Sarah was very helpful at the counter. We tried some KFC Widnes style! Just as good if not better than the Aussie style we are used to! Totally recommend a visit if you are craving some of the Colonel's magic.

Like a night club inside, loud music can't hear each other. They started putting chairs up on tables at 8:15pm whilst we were sat eating. The toilets were absolutely vile .

Checked website at 9pm Saturday night .said OPEN so went and got there and they were shut ..except for deliveries.. why say open and get there ans shut ... what a franchise ..ridiculous wast of time

Visited their drive through, and it took 32 minutes from ordering to collection. Oddly, we’d already ordered via the app before arrival, but this doesn’t speed anything up whatsoever. Not to mention both myself and my wife after having area the chicken were violently sick for the next 72 hours.

The fries from here are so salty😝 I know they have changed them but definitely not for the best, had some from Albert Dock and they are delicious, tasted like seasoned black pepper fries

Carpark is crawling with rats the drive through is crawling with rats the staff are also disrespectful rats all young kids with bad attitudes especially the tall half cast girl seriously needs to learn manners and respect won't ever be going here again

Worst service at any fast food restaurant in Widnes, the staff seem to have no rush or care about your order they seem to let other people get their orders first out of preference. Avoid at all cost it took over 20 minutes to get a simple milkshake. Small portions aswell 🤣

Great KFC, hot food, fresh and fast. Never have any issues and nice and clean inside. We actually travel out of town to this KFC as the Runcorn one is abismal.

Food was amazing, but the was 1 self service working while the other was broke and no staff serving at the tills so was abit of a wait to order, food was hot but was probably because they were only dealing with one order at a time in the restaurant so staff were standing around

took my kids in today for some food, staff were friendly and engaged with my kids, service was fast, food was hot and fresh, minis and gravy were the best bits.

Ordered food and it was out in less than 5 minutes

Started off good,very clean,then it went wrong...so many bloody deliveroo and other food deliveries...they got our wrong.. Mayonnaise on the meal may not seem much,but when you have IBS & other issues...it is. I had to make a scene about it was there mistake(not just mine..2 others were also wrong,whilst I was there.) Eventually they swapped the meal,not the fries,so they were rubbery...binned. Other than that,the chicken was 5****, Gorgeous....chicken....

Been a few times and sometimes the food isn't great but it was fine on this occasion. Staff are nice and the restaurant is always clean when we've been in. It's never very busy and there isn't a long wait for food.

Not had the food yet but suppose it will be fine - however - my Blue Light card was not honoured. The response was “well there is nothing I can do” Not a happy bunny!

Nice.. The twister wrap is now full price ☹️.. They have bargains/deals at different times. I usually get the twister wrap for myself and the wow box (a promo item) for the kid

All is great apart from some drivers who works from Just Eat and Deliveroo. I was trying to take a seat in the spot where it was the best heating(big table), as it was really cold day and then one of the drivers slammed his thermal bag right next to me, completely disrespecting my presence. It is not the first time that they have been doing it. I thought this table was for paying customers but also I couldn't see designed waiting area for them.

Chips were soggy and likely cooked twice. Chicken was hot though. Why is it sooo hard to get proper chips?

Disappointed that the mini fillets were greasy and fatty.

I wanted to be severed and the staff didn't answer us, despite them having their back to us knowing full well we were there, it was empty so after a 20 minute wait, we still never got severed so we left. Also enquired about hot drinks and they never answered. Do not recommend.

First kfc in this area to get the food order right in months and they had everything and it was well prepared

Ordered a mighty bucket for one with two extra hot wings and instead got a bucket full of mini fillets and no hot wings. It seems working at KFC is the most challenging thing in the world for some people

I think most who enjoy from time to time some fast food would have tried a KFC. I've had a few 👀. However, this KFC is always on point with the cooking of the chicken, lovely! 👍

Spent £25 on a boneless bucket to not get everything in it. Called the shop to be told to contact uber eats. How is it uber eats fault for missing items when bag is sealed. Absolutely fuming

We called in here on the way back from the airport and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Kfc was ok the car park was full of delivery drivers for collecting takeaways then block you in! Chips were hard and chicken was Luke warm had better previously.

Loved the 10 pieces chicken..and good service.

This place has improved over recent times with nice friendly staff and mostly got fresh food. What let's it down is the rude delivery drivers who park up in the disabled bays and blue badge holders like myself cannot find anywhere to park. Management need to get a grip and clear them off from the disabled bays. These guys think they run the place

Asked for chicken and they gave me some. No saveloy.

While the place needed a wipe down the staff were happy and helpful, food was ready quickly and without issue. Kfc chips are still bad.

We had a lovely meal here, the only thing stopping a 5 star review is that several of the tables needed wiping down due to excessive crumbs etc yet the place wasn't packed out!

Fantastic staff and a great service!

Not very good today, prices were not explained very well, so I paid an extra £5:50 for 2 pieces of poor quality, not very crispy, greasy chicken and a small gravy which I would in reality have happily gone without. The complimentary hair in the chicken was not gratefully received.

Staff so friendly and polite. Sarah is so lovely and great to talk to. Plus the chicken is very succulent and not dry.

Had a mighty bucket and the chicken was lovely, full of flavour, not dry or soggy, crispy coating, cooked perfect. Best KFC I've had in a long time.

We where served by Callum at the drive though and he was an absolute delight! It was refreshing to have someone so polite, happy and professionally serving at a fast food restaurant. That man deserves a raise! I havnt had a zinger tower in years, but they must of changed the chicken as it was strange and stringing I couldn't finish it. The chips are amazing now tho! Only gave 4 stars because of the burger disspointment.

Came from Runcorn won’t go to the Runcorn KFC it’s terrible. I went through drive thru Widnes KFC and it was sooo much better! Speedy service, very welcoming and efficient. Food was warm and well presented very impressive. Will definitely visit again.

It's an alright place staff were a bit stressed out. The timing for the order was satisfying just this thing were one of my fried chicken drumstick had a unremoved feather. But that's a problem from the source provider not the restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff, food arrived quickly. A few of the tables needed a clean down but very tidy compared to some KFC outlets that we have visited lately.

Quick service, fresh tasting and hot. Clean and tidy dining area. Can't complain!

Only cold drinks were fruit shoots

AVOID AT ALL COST! I ordered a meal with a lemonade to take out and when I tried the lemonade it tasted like fizzy water so I got it changed before I left but they could only offer me an alternative flavour. Then when I got home I found that they had given me a chicken thigh even tho I asked for hot wings. The food was ok, but if they can't get simple orders correct then they have got problems. Was back today and was given a totally different meal than the one I ordered and only found out when I got home. They said they would give me a refund or change it but not both. I have to pay toll charges to get there from where I live so I am out of pocket for that and fuel for THEIR mistake. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Been ordering from the Widnes branch for over 12 months on a regular basis, always got it right.. however last nights meal was a disgrace ok..it arrived on time but the chicken and fries were overcooked and cold, hope this is a one off if bot wint be ordering again.

Absolutely useless. Ordered via deliveroo and only half of the order turned up .Called them and they said I had to call deliveroo directly.called LONDON to explain and the missing parts of the order was resent when it finally arrived it was still wrong, called LONDON AGAIN TO DISCUSS, what a joke, the restaurant and deliveroo are as bad as each other!!! Will not use again

Went to KFC Widnes with my Son. It was lovely. Staff were fast serving and very polite.

There are some terrible KFC's out there but this isn't one of them.
