We love this local Chinese. The staff are all lovely and the food is fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. Most meals come with rice or chips included in the price plus they always give little extras of drink, prawn crackers, spring rolls. Highly recommended by all our family.

Foods disgusting don't know how anybody could eat from here or call there food "NICE"

The ONLY thing wrong with the chippy during covid-19 is the staff, are making my food then touching money with the SAME gloves which is pretty bad 👎

They are still open from 5pm to 10pm (mon to sat) but not open in the mornings anymore. Great Chinese/ Cantonese meals, the family like chicken satay with fried rice twice a week and charsui curry with chips with spicy chicken or chicken green pepper with rice or a special chow mein as they cram in a lot of food in the box. The chips and fish are always fresh and hot. Traditional chippy, vert clean and friendly staff, my family wont go any where else.

Has wierd opening times with no logical opening times. When is open it isn't the best and is over priced. Go to the old town instead.

Greasy floppy chips.. and fish was swimming in oil. Horrible...think the oil is not changed frequently. Wont go back there in a hurry.

Always greeted with a friendly welcome and a smile. It is spotlessly clean,and the food is consistently delicious. I can gaurentee you won't be disappointed,well worth a visit

lovely chips and everything but right now im desgusted my brother just went to the chippy to get himself some chips and some sort of bug in the middle of the chips package crawling about! dreadful🙄😷

Had fish and chips yesterday and was violently sick from the fish all night and still being sick now. Only had half the fish it didn’t taste right

Had a takeaway. We have one every 3 months as a treat. The spicy chicken wings are lovely but the actual dishes aren't the best. The curry sauce is nice.Its good as a chipshop. The staff are always lovely and polite. The portions are more than enough so if you are a big eater then this place is good. It is very clean inside.

We use this place on a regular basis, mainly for Chinese food. The food is always plentiful, piping hot and really tasty. The service is always spot on, no long waits in a queue we are always served quickly by very friendly staff. The special chow mein is fantastic as is the special fried rice and the curry is particularly good. Usually given free prawn crackers as well.

Chips always fresh always hot and fish has light crispy batter. Tasty special fried rice or special chowmein and chicken satay twice a week for us and salt and pepper chicken (with spring onions, peppers and garlic) for starters. Lovely food.

We made a very large order for a group of 5. The food was ready very quickly and was very tasty. Highly recommend!

How is this even open! Food is absolutely disgusting

Dirty, they cut chips in a bath tub and put vinegar on the chips using an old tango bottle

Having paid a visit to the local Co-Op the smell of the chips was irresistible - having moved to the area we had been told the best Chinese was in the Old Town of Runcorn so we had not tried "the local" we purchased a portion of chips just to try and must admit they where excellent - we will be trying out their meals next time.

If anyone reading this that knows the owners please inform them the Chinese menu is out of date now please update and add new dishes look around at others in the area e.g. Dolphin supper bar

I have tried this place many times over 5 years and to tell you the truth very poor quality food , only the pies are ok as they only reheat them

Tray of chilli flakes, I asked for salt and pepper not a tray of chips and chilli flakes be careful what you ask for... One of the worst around.

Had my first meal here 20 years ago when I was viewing my current house. Food is still good esp Beef Curry and Fried Rice. Don't go when it is empty as the chips can be cold and greasy, but when busy they are spot on. they don't always judge the batch size right. But a good reasonably priced takeaway. STILL UNDER THE SAME OWNERSHIP AND VERY FRIENDLY.

Ordered salt and pepper ribs, got given some crappy barbeque ribs without the sauce covered in salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Will not be back again.

Love the food here. Fish are all cooked to order so are always delicious. Gravy is like a dark tar like nectar from the gods - delicious! Chinese meals are great, best special fried rice anywhere. Just needs to add crispy chilli beef to the menu and I'll be very happy.

Siendo este nuestro local "fish and chips" me parece que es demasiado caro y que siempre están esperando por las patatas, incluso cuando no hay mucha gente. Parece que nunca tienen cualquier ofrece como uno semanal como pescado, patatas fritas y guisantes por £8 o pastel de patatas y ofrece 2 a 3 libras.

Same Chinese menu for a good few years now , may be time for an upgrade and some newer and different dishes , just one other thing please change your gravy it's like black oil

Nice friendly staff. food goes down well. Not a particularly great presentation in the venue, could do with a facelift.

estar cerca de la ciudad vieja nos hemos convertido a los que frecuenten K Lee (preguntad por Shirley y Michael Shum) río Dorado (no te preocupes Ling no me he olvidado que le debo Cuestan un poco más que 20) y la cena Bar Dolphin (el mejor sal n pimienta patatas fritas en el maíz dulce). De cualquier manera, tras una visita de mi dos i aunties lesbihavingya era muy animado a viajar un poco más lejos para probar su deliciosa picante patatas fritas. Me informaron que esta tienda de chips es verdaderamente el mejor; los alimentos son muy sabrosos, el servicio es divina y su bien vale la pena el esfuerzo para ir al otro lado de la ciudad.

Esta es una excelente "fish and chips", tanto que, viajo de Widnes para usar esta comida para llevar. Hay una buena selección de platos chinos y tradicionales. Me encanta la pimienta verde y alubias negras, Chow Mein, jengibre y Spring Onion y satay platos pero hay muchas otras deliciosas pequeños para elegir. Hacen un precioso, picante curry demasiado y las patatas picantes son encantadores. El pescado es siempre fresco cuando tengo una. El personal siempre fue muy amable y educado.

Mi "fish and chips" local y estoy contento de eso. Bueno es siempre caliente y fresco. La salsa es una buena salsa vieja gruesa que es precioso. También me gusta los rollos de Chop suey de desde aquí. El único aspecto negativo es el mein la comida me gustan los colchones gruesos fideos finos y estos son los pequeños que no me gusta que me siento como su chocking en ellos cuando se ingieren. Sin embargo que dije que evite el mein la comida ya que hay muchos más platos, que siempre están muy bien y el personal es muy amable.

Over time the quality has improved dramatically. Chip now taste great, however fish is not great. Will keep coming and hope for future improvement.

Finally got around to visiting this place when in the area, good variety of food choice and oh my god.....a Chinese that does baked beans with english meals not just bloody peas ! Very friendly staff and good service.

The chips are very greasy and not at all appetising and the fish is tasteless. On this basis wouldn't want to try the Chinese. Such a shame as its very local but we travel to Stockton Heath or Frodsham which is far superior to this.

As Chinese Takeaways / Chippys go this is definitely up there as one of the best in Runcorn. The food is always very tasty, good portions, and hot. You can telephone your order to go and pick up, and the food is always ready when you get there. This is a bonus as sometimes they can be packed as they are so popular.Their opening hours are 11.30am to 1.30pm and 5pm to 10pm (11pm on Friday), but they close for a well earned rest on a Sunday.
