Church View in Halton

The food was cooked to perfection, it was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect and made our afternoon celebrating my mums birthday.

Here for lunch and a few pints. Great experience again on our regular lunchtime visit. Johanne particularly helpful and friendly taking orders and serving lunch to us, thank you.

We have become regulars at the Church View because the food is very good and great value for money and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Special mention for Johanne who always makes us feel so welcome.

Had a lovely tea time meal and drinks whilst watching the football match. I ordered a steak with a squid topper and garlic and mushroom sauce. My husband ordered a mixed grill. My daughter opted for the Italian chicken burger off the burger deal which included a drink. We were not disappointed, the food was served hot, I had to wait a few minutes to let it cool. The meals are of generous portions and really good. My compliments to the chef Zoe. All the kitchen staff work hard and we appreciate them. The manager and all the bar staff are very friendly and always have time to have a chat. Ignore any negative comments as we have never had any issues.

Amazing food as always. The Italian chicken burger was delicious! Staff are very friendly with a special mention to Zoe and Mike. Their service is top notch, food was served quickly and hot. The pub is clean and tidy, with an great atmosphere, especially when the football is on. Would highly recommend!

disappointing Staff miserable Dogs barking in pub and more dog bowls outside than the dogs home. Kids meal took over a hour, I’d expect this for a prepared meal but not for microwave food. Sorry to say dissatisfied - maybe it’s good for just a pint. Read the other reviews below and I can’t believe it’s the same pub !

Tried out the Butcher's Platter on the new specials menu and can honestly say it's the nicest meal I've had in the. Church View. The food is always good, but this is definitely worth trying! Home made scotch egg done to perfection! I will definitely be having this again.

Lovely local pub. Well-kept real ale, friendly atmosphere and the staff were friendly, welcoming and the service excellent. Only came for drinks but were tempted by the Butcher's Platter sharer which was an excellent accompaniment. We'll definitely be back!

Came with family on a Friday night, I can’t speak highly enough about the pub, friendly staff, brilliant food and drink and a great atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended.

Come here often as it’s one of our nearest pubs. It’s always a pleasant experience and is a nice building with a good atmosphere. We only ever go to eat, it does have a small bar area for watching sports but it’s mostly setup as a restaurant. Food is standard Green King and never had a bad meal yet. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side but food is cheap so they got to make it work somehow I suppose. My personal favourite is Katsu chicken or a steak.

Met up with friends for the Festive Fayre meal. All our requirements were met and the food was delicious. Zoe made sure everything was perfect
