The best restaurants serving Default food in Central Barrow-in-Furness North West

Today was the first visit since it reopened as a cafe/restaurant. Serving breakfast, snacks & main meals. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely young man, he was friendly & professional. Hubby had a no.1 breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 slices of black pudding, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. I had a no.2 which was 1 of everything no black pudding & 2 halves of fried tomatoes, plenty of mushrooms (my favourite) We had 4 slices of toast, 2 cafetières of tea, with a biscuit on the side, then when we had finished the young man brought us a Turkish dessert. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated & welcoming. Thank you we enjoyed it & will return.

Food was excellent. The delivery driver was very apologetic as the food arrived a few minutes after its scheduled time and gave us £5 back as a good will gesture. Quality food and quality service.

We had the 'Meat and heat', thanks to the honey it had a lovely sweetness and was just about perfectly seasoned, and the 'Properoni', the pepperoni was brilliant, and the dough for both pizzas perfectly done. This pizza alone is a very good reason to visit Barrow in Furness🍕

On outside had scaffolding etc so though oh dear, when got in bar pleasently surprised, staff was chatty helpful, bar well stocked...we booked into room no hassle was clean tidy and exactly what required , shower toilet bit in small size but good, would recommend this at 75 pound that night a Saturday was good IMO

Great plant based food and great beer, shame we had to get home for the babysitter otherwise we’d have stayed here for a few extra drinks.

Absolutely delicious and lovely, friendly staff. Recommend the prawn and scallop bhuna :)

Had a takeaway. Disappointed. Rice stodgy and food bland and generic tasting. None of that authentic Chinese taste that makes you want to repeat. Wouldn't buy from here again.

Salt and pepper box and garlic bread were really tasty

Amazing restaurant, had the seafood linguine which was a massive portion and super tasty, a garlic bread which was yummy and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. 10/10 best Italian food I've had in a while! Highly recommend!

I stumbled across this place while working away from home I orderd a simple mixed kebab that was at a reasonable price wow first came a soup I gave it a try not knowing what it was and it was out of this world is what it was then came my order a mixed kebab consisting of chicken lamb and donner rice and salad the meat was cooked to perfection full of flavour the rice was light and fluffy with a good side of fresh crispy salad the venue itself is pleasing and the staff very polite and friendly usually when I work away in diffrent parts of the country I try diffrent places to eat unfortunately I skipped every other option and revisisted here it was so good

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it plenty of choices food was delicious I will definitely be back again 😋

Back again for a meal and enjoyed it definitely the best place to eat in barrow if your very hungry would visit everyday If I could 😋
