Now called BAWN. Food excellent. Small plates of freshly prepared food and pizzas. Well worth a visit

I'd give this place 10 star's if it were possible! I visited with work colleagues as we were based in Otterburn and travelled past daily. It was so good our group went 2 day's in a row. The Thai food is amazing.......I mean out of this world, the cakes awesome and the service faultless. We were a pain with our credit card receipt requirements but the guy (assuming owner) was very accommodating. He would even take our take away orders in advance of us finishing. I am gutted to live so far away as I would definitely visit regularly. Yum, yum, yum, yum, YUM!

Food always unreal - shame they’ve taken the burrata off the menu. Service not amazing this time round. Caesar salad is a must.

Good service and great quiche and cheese scones. Couldn't see if dogs were allowed. For that reason 4 stars however there are plenty of tables outside and water bowls provided

Segunda visita y la misma experiencia horrible después de dar a la primera el beneficio de la duda, solo comensales en el restaurante a las 8. 30 pm, tuve que esperar a una mesa, constantemente bajo presión comiendo gasolina con el personal rondando sobre la mesa para quitar los platos a pesar de que mencionamos dos veces que todavía estábamos recogiendo la comida Sentí como si fuéramos un inconveniente y el personal estaba desesperado por que nos fuéramos, no había pedido la cuenta pero se llevó a la mesa, ni siquiera llegó a beber vinos que habíamos pedido, sin ofrenda de un café después de la comida Qué pena y decepcionado en lo que solía ser un gran restaurante hace años, no vamos a volver!

Amazing food! Amazing staff! Had my wedding catering made and all of this was delicious and beautifully presented! Thank you so much for everything and making my day stress free! Will 100% recommend and will be back again!

It's 35 years since I stepped over the threshold! The landlord was amazing! After a conversation he took time out to give me a tour of this fantastic pub which he didn't have to do! Amazing place..you must visit!

Although we don't go here very often, we have been going for years. Sadly, on this occasion, we were put off going back. There was a sports channel playing on a huge tv in the restaurant which the staff were watching (the volume was on but not loudly). I had the chicken tikka korma with pilau rice (can'trememberwhich one), and to be honest, it was a bit bland, certainly not as flavoursome as I've enjoyed in the past.

We visited for Sunday Lunch with my in-laws a couple of weeks ago. The food and service were both excellent and the views over the golf course were beautiful on a sunny day. Everyone agreed that it was a lovely meal out and had an extra special feel. We will definitely return.

Delicious Sunday Lunch. Stopped off for lunch after a family walk. The Sunday lunch was worth the wait . Freshly cooked, meat plentiful and beautifully cooked. Well presented. Staff pleasant and polite. Dog friendly and good seating areas. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks to all.

Love this takeaway Pizza in Ponteland. The pizza are fresh, made daily and really lush. Ordered 10 inch Veg, Spicy Veg and 12 inch thin margarita. Really tasty toppings....try them. Thx Bhav

Absolutely disgusting!!! Just had an order for family both pizzas burnt to bits I mean black crispy burnt. How they thought it was acceptable blows my mind. This is my 4th order since new opening and been very disappointed every single time. Definitely will not be back to give them my money.
