Amazing food in a fantastic restaurant, well worth a visit. We tried the small plates and were not disappointed, the mussel flatbread was my favourite.

We visited in the early evening for the 5-course tasting menu. All the courses were really good, but the star of the show was a kipper broth - which sounds odd, but was REALLY DELICIOUS. The service was attentive without being intrusive - just what you'd expect at a small restaurant. great to be able to see into the kitchen too and watch the chefs creating the excellent food. Altogether a fantastic experience - WELL DONE to the whole team

Fabulous food, in a small relaxed restaurant, along with friendly and efficient service. No menu provided - just a series beautifully cooked and nicely presented creative taster menu dishes as chosen by the chefs, from seasonal produce. Nice wine by the glass too. Especially liked the oysters, brocoli tempura, kipper broth and perfectly cooked pollock. Dedinately worth a visit!

We arrived for breakfast at 10am Sunday & no sign of life at all. Maybe update your opening times on Tripadvisor. Food could very well be delicious …. We’ll never know 🥺

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.

What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.

We’ve ordered Sunday lunch a few times now from Stobhill bait and have never been disappointed! I’m very fussy about the quality of meat in any takeaway food & have tried both the pork & beef lunches, both were great. Veg & gravy lovely & really decent portion sizes! An excellent solution if you’re just on your own or can’t be bothered to cook.
