Tomahawk Steakhouse in Northumberland

Rubbish food, over priced and wine was day light robbery at £36. Frozen chips, not skin on fries and £29 ribeye which comes with a tiny bit of broccoli, you have to pay extra if you want a potato or a decent amount of veg. Add in the £10 service charge for the 2 of us and think it's the worst restaurant we've ever been to. Avoid at all costs. I hate being ripped off.

Went to the shop today and ordered double cheeseburger and fries. Cost 8.50, it was very nice and both freshly cooked while I waited. Staff were nice and polite.

Staff watched my disabled mum come down the steps to get in, no hello only a grunt “have you booked” no we haven’t, “next table is 2pm” had to scramble up the steps again. Not even offered a drink at the bar, no hello and no bye. Rude.

Had an early dinner with the family and the food was delicious. Service was good and they accommodated two small children well. Will definitely return soon.
