Went out to try this much talked about restaurant and whilst the food was ok(ish) service left a lot to be desired and it was very quiet for a Saturday night.Had much better food for half the price in my local pub.

Party of 4 and we all had very mixed reviews, overall I was happy with my steak and sides, however my partner not so much, twice they tried to do a well done steak and both times it came out bloody. One of our sides was very spicy yet no mention in the description, mac and cheese was just pasta with grated cheese on the top............Could be a lot better especially for the £200+ I paid. Staff we're great no complaints.

We were very concerned about going after seeing the reviews but have to say the service and food was exceptional, Jordan and Noah looked after us and couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.

Booked a table drove 20 mins to get there to be standing at door 5 mins waiting to be seated then they tried to squash us in a little table between two other customers, walked straight out, absolutely shocking, much better places in Morpeth Than this shambles of a place,

Nice restaurant as all of their chain are. Bit of a weird lady out but very pleasant.

Went in today just after 4 p.m.! Therr was only 1 couple in the restaurant. Waiter was too busy chitchatting to another staff member. Was standing there for 5 minutes. I was not acknowledged or greeted or anything. So I decided to leave and dine somewhere else.

We were a walk in & there was a table available however it was squashed between 2 others so did not feel comfortable. Food the T- bone steak was very good sides not so good, chips seemed to be frozen. I asked if I could have a smaller portion of the prawn & monk fish advised not able to. I ordered the full meal. Half of the plate was rice, too big an amount for anyone. 2 prawns only in the dish but the curry was very tasty. Service charge was £8 which we asked to be taken off, staff did not appear to be interested in our feedback. In addition there is a step near the toilets not obvious so almost fell and jolted my back. This was pointed out to manager & he stated there would be signs up the following week didn’t feel that he was bothered. Would I go back? No definitely not

Not be back!!!! Waited 2 hours for food manager states party of 16 was down stair at first then after I complaint we were told there was 27 people at the party??? All the staff standing around like nothing to do!!! (tumbleweeds) a couple next to us got up and left as they waited for 15 minutes for a drink!!! Staff Never noticed they were gone!!! My friend who is pregnant asked for a blackcurrant and lemonade when the waiter came to the tablet he mention it was a vodka and lemonade and then retracted, which left us concerned and we had to ask him to take it back and check the bar…. The party down stairs came up spoke to the manager and they were arguing stated they had waited 2 hours and only received chips I Asked for medium well done steak came still mowing 🐄🐮 We asked the blonde waitress about what sauces we could have she look at us (clueless) she didn’t even know what sauces they serviced Starters came without sauces when we asked they young waiter looked at us like we were idiot!!! All staff were rude and not very well trained!!! Like I say we will not be back !!!!!!

Long wait in-between courses, the cookie dough dessert was left that long in the kitchen it was basically a warm cookie when it arrived. The other food, however, was good. We did think it was overpriced as we ended up paying over £40 for 2 sides, 2 hot chocolates, 1 lemonade and 1 coffee

Partner's burger was grissly. I went for the chicken parmo, tasted like the oil it was cooked in was old, there was a clump of black clumped breadcrumbs underneath it. The salad leaves were not fresh, it's like those few you get at bottom of a bag where the moisture gets to them. First and last visit unfortunately 😔.

We came on a Friday night, and left disappointed. The service was slow, we were sat under the air con which was freezing, another couple asked for it off and it did get turned down luckily. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. The desserts menu is right up my street however the service and atmosphere put us off and we didn’t bother. I don’t agree with adding the service charge on, I do like to tip however the service didn’t warrant a £15 tip but to be honest we just wanted out, so we just paid and left. For the price I was hoping for much better, I don’t think we’ll be back.

Food and service are absolutely first class. Can't say it's reasonably priced mind you.

Had the wagu steak it was absolutely fantastic, melted in my mouth totally beautiful and the drinks were amazing too amazing service and even went out their way to put a happy anniversary dessert out for us how sweet!

Service was blinding . I know this is a proper steakhouse but this is a bona-fide hangover breakfast and well worth the $ . Every item had its own twist . Hash browns were lovely. A nice spot for breakfast. Next time I'll try the steak and eggs.

Steak was great, but sides were a massive letdown

Had a good meal a little pricey but not over the top

First and lastime we will visit ordered 2.chicken parmos 1 being a hotshot , bland and zero seasoning i do not believe for a second my food was cooked fresh it was re heated at best massively overcooked and dry , very disappointing !!!!

Extremely dissatisfied...will not be back Asked for steaks to be medium. Not medium rare closer to rare. Also cold. Couldn't eat it. Fries just bog standard fries. No garnish so it looked very plain and not interesting at all. 4 in the group just very underwhelmed which is a shame. The puddings were not what we expected...eton mess was more like cream and strawberry mush.Not how eton mess should be. Staff seem.under trained on all levels. We did complain..we got no apology.. just a full bill Inc the service charge. Again complained as didn't feel our first complain was taking seriously. However the lad spoke to the manager and we did get a large chunk deducted. Made the bad night a little not so bad. But still a shame as we'd looked forward to it. Wouldn't recommend. Miller n carter tomorrow night for birthday. Sorry Tomahawk.

Had £20 a head restaurant week menu. Couldn’t fault the service or food. Good mojito cocktails 2 for £12. Jordan and staff very friendly and attentive. First time we have been, will certainly be back.

Sharing platter was amazing. All cuts of steak were so tender. The sides were delicious too. Baileys creme brulee was to die for!! Waffle was nice, but a little disappointed in the peanut brittle....a few tiny shavings only. Overall food was A*so highly recommend!

First class service and food and the chicken parmesan was tremendous value

Very expensive, and you get a 10%, surcharge on top of bill. You don't need to pay it , it should be up to you to add a tip .

First time and went for breakfast on a Sunday. Lovely friendly service and decor lovely but food disappointing, especially considering the prices. Pancakes didn't come with full ingredients as advertised, the cream was off and some pancakes were still cold.

We arrived a little early to discover that they had crossed our booking of already, a simple mistake then we were sat under the Aircon. Drinks arrived with a wine bottle which had been opened by a butcher. Food was ok but nothing to shout about meat fine but sides pretty plain and nothing to shout about. Then we sat waiting to pay. Overall would say the team need some serious training on customer service and delivering a warm welcome.

Good Points: Great service, friendly & attentive staff Well cooked and flavourful food with good portion sizes. Didn’t feel rushed but not left waiting for long periods. Bad Point: “Optional” service charge of £23.01 added to our the bill (10%) with no mention from the staff. It’s not even listed on the menu or website. Bad business decision people would rather not return to the restaurant again than ask for it to be removed. Would make people feel awkward when then they had good service asking for it to be removed but then there’s no justification to add a service charge in the first place. Tips should be truly optional not just added to the bill. It’s definitely making me think twice about returning.

Not even sure where to start. I never write reviews, but need to do so this time. Service was none existent and staff very poorly trained (if at all) despite there being about the same amount of staff to customers. Empty glasses all over the bar with staff chatting away. No soap in mens bathroom (another's customer told me he'd mentioned this to staff an hour earlier). Steak knives dropped in one pile at the top of the table to lay out for ourselves. Staff balancing plates nervously only to drop them all - I recommend trays to reduce the overall tableside anxiety for all. Just an exhausting and bitterly disappointing experience all round. Food was average at best, but exceedingly over priced. Fair to say we decided to turn down the 10% service charge (£37). Read the reviews folks, and also read the owners responses to other bad reviews - you can see they're not really invested. I really want to support local restaurants but I wont be back and sadly I think this place will last about 6 months at most unless it improves.

Food was ok had the tomahawk sharing board steak had lots off fat and gristle on the lobster was very very over cooked sides were nice enough dessert was nice service was good

Poor attempt at fine dinning at expensive prices. Booked table downstairs ad my wife has mobility issues and got e mail to confirm that. On arrival they tried to sit us upstairs. Duck starters were produced with cold pancakes and had to send them back 3 times to finally get them hot. My steak ordered medium was rare my friends steak ordered well done wad rare. The dripping chips were overcooked and dried out. My boubourbe sauce was stone cold. Sorry but compared to Miller and Carter at less price thus place fails.

Nicely greeted and seated upstairs. Quickly ordered, vegetarian options are just the same as elsewhere nothing interesting. I don't understand why they grill the buns to death so when you are eating the burger all you taste is burnt bun, not nice. No one bothered to ask how the meal was, but I mentioned when someone collected the plate. Nothing was done to make it right. Desserts were nice, don't think the service was that good apart from the young waiter, he was friendly. Don't agree with automatically adding a service charge on, it just shouldn't be added at all especially as it's so overpriced here. Better food elsewhere for cheaper. In fact I have had better food for much less.

dined here with my Daughter, I had the Sirloin with lard cooked chips and onion rings with a peppercorn sauce, my daughter had the flat iron steak with the Chinese spiced chips and mac and cheese. The staff were friendly without being pushy, allowing us time to decide what we wanted, drinks arrived promptly. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it was closer to medium, and for me under seasoned, the chips were fabulous as were the onion rings, and the pepper sauce was fairly bland. My daughters steak was ordered medium rare, but arrived very rare, her chips were very tasty, but the mac and cheese was very rich and quite sickly. The bill arrived very quickly after we finished and at just short of £100 including a 10% service charge (which i find very annoying) we paid and left. on reflection, the venue-service and food did not demand the price we paid, the steak was no better than I would expect in any reasonable restaurant

Beautiful surf n turf platter for 2...was quite quiet being Thursday 8.30pm...only us left in at the end ....so needs a bit if atmosphere through out week days too...to encourage more in...but very pleasant and will return and try a weekend

Unfortunately wouldn't return. For the price's they charge its a joke. Waited a long time for drinks and when they arrived the bottle of wine wasn't what was ordered but was not charged as they didn't have the wine ordered. I ordered the medium to well done rump and got a lump of steak not sliced or marinaded as advertised on menu. My spinach in a creamy sauce was totally tasteless. For a bill of £174 which had 15.86 service charge this place needs to up its game. The manager however was friendly

I have never ever written a review but so dissatisfied following our visit yesterday evening, what an absolutely dreadful experience, poor service, food totally underwhelming and cold, staff were rude and with the bill being over £220.00 for 4 I would have expected a different experience.

I had really high hopes for this place... but was just really let down. Service, Food Quality all very poor. Fathers Day breakfast turned into over an hour's wait for food, no updates or apologies. It wasn't particularly busy either. Kids Pancakes with "Caramelized Banana" but was just some plain banana cut up and slightly mushy. Yuk! The Full English is just okay, nothing special at all. I opted for the £1.95 "Crispy Potatoes" which were just stale unseasoned chips..m dare I say from the previous nights dinner service. Extra Hash Brown paid for to go with the Mexican Eggs... Low and behold missing. What really sours the experience is the fact that we paid £58 for the privilege, ridiculous for what you actually get. Sorry to say, but won't be returning.

Poor overall experience for a relatively new restaurant. Service was below average with inexperienced staff. General atmosphere is uncomfortable. Very expensive for what we received. Had to ask for the ‘optional’ 10% service charge to be removed as it is added by default.

attend for an evening meal. food was amazing, staff were friendly but service was poor, numerous times I had to get up and find staff for a glass and cutlery. Atmosphere is nice but they've definitely tried to ram as many tables as possible into a small space. However I would say we'd definitely be back as the food is superb!

Excellent service with fantastic offers. Three of us went for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Parking off site near the bus depot worked well for us but plenty of others nearby

Too expensive for Morpeth. That's not my complaint though. It's due to staff being rude and the wait times to be served. Waited 25 minutes just for drinks. There's better places in Morpeth for your money. I'll stick to the one in town.

Staff are slow. Spent over 100 pound for two of us so with these prices you expect good service. Asked for manager after waiting over half hour for drinks and then waiting another half hour for food and all I got was a dirty look. Won't be back. Plenty of places in Morpeth that makes you leave with a smile.

I visited with a colleague for dinner, I booked table in advance, we received a friendly greeting, we were ushered to our seats, we sat upstairs, we were asked if we had any dietary requirements, asked if we would like still or sparkling water, we got a bottle of still water, I also had a lime and soda, positives: we were given sufficient time to make our order, we both choose the 3 courses for £20, all the courses we chose had lots of flavour, the starters were well presented, service was very good, negatives: bottle of still water £3.75, my main of steak & chips should have come with salad, ice cream should have come with fan wafer and sauce, Eton Mess was a bit of a mess, overall I gave 4 stars based on all aspects of our time, I hope on my return the presentation of food is given some thought.

Called in for Sunday lunch without a booking, great to get a table however food very average. We had the sharing board- Roast potatoes hardly even cooked in the centre, all of the veg very underdone. Meat average. Kids meals were good. However for £80 bill expected much more. Won’t be back in a hurry.

Don’t normally do this but for a new restaurant this was very disappointing. We eat out a lot and in our own business our customers are always given the best service every time and if it’s not right we won’t serve it which I wish had been the same here. We had the sharing board and after a 1 hour wait our food finally came but to be honest I wish it hadn’t come at all. Cold and tough steak, cold sides and to be honest even the servers weren’t interested so guys you need to act on this after reading other reviews on here and your Facebook. My partner is coming again next week with her pals so I hope this was just a bad night or chef

Great food and service especially the steaks

Four of us came to celebrate our friends wedding anniversary. Food was excellent but what helped make the occasion were the staff, absoloutly tremendous & can't praise them enough. Thank you kindly. Looking forward to our next visit.

Decided on here for lunch today, often visit the ponteland and quayside restaurants and both been great but today we wasn’t great. I’d looked at the menu outside and decided to try the moo pie so we were took to the table and asked what drinks we wanted so got drinks and when we went to order our food we were told they didn’t have any pie. So paid for drinks and left. Why weren’t we told before ordering drinks that certain items on the menu weren’t available before hand instead of waiting until we ordered? Not the service you’d expect from a big well known restaurant chain

Was my birthday 7 of us all left very full the only thing was my chimichuri broccoli was dry and Burnt but it would of just been a one off my boyfriends was good would definitely go back portions are good steak was beautiful couldn’t complain par the broccoli but not too big of a deal!

Best Sunday dinner ever. We had the sharing board and it was next level delicious. My partner additionally had a generous goblet sized cocktail that rounded off the experience nicely. Customer service was top notch, like dining out in America. We will be back. Often.

Took my partner for a meal tonight and chose the 38oz tomahawk, parmasn and white truffle fries & onion rings , house special hashbrowns , for desert the chocolate bombe…. I’m actually lost for words The best meal I have ever had , can’t fault anything , food was cooked to perfection and the staff are fantastic, organised , and very well presented, the restaurant looks amazing both inside and out. Amazing night thanks to all the staff working and the chefs for the amazing dining experience and food! Please change ur Facebook page also so people can leave reviews on there :)

The best steak i have ever had cooked perfectly and all the sides were incredible, prices are reasonable for what you get and the service was outstanding by all staff members Thank you for a great experience
