So a scorching sunny September day was a surprise but, after reading the multiple 5-star reviews received at this pub there was no surprise to be served up an absolutely lovely meal & experience excel

We had a sunday lunch and it was the nicest we have had in a long time and great value for money, would definitely recommend service is second to none too

Visited this afternoon to have a coffee to warm up having walked from Whitley Bay. Found the staff friendly and efficient. The mince pies were delicious as we're the drinks. Highly recommended!

Beware as Google maps told us it was closed on Saturdays but it is open. It's a lovely bright space, comfortable for hours of chat without feeling you should leave! Good menu choices. Coffee was good.
