The best restaurants serving Default food in Birtley Gateshead North East

First time there .wont be the last .

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of my daughter and son in law and what an absolute hidden gem . We will definitely return the food is incredible and the service well what can I say apart from above and beyond. The lay out and decor is beautiful and traditional Italian music playing too which we loved we will definitely return 1000% grazie for such a wonderful evening until next time .

Family gathering we booked for 6pm ( happy hour) - we arrived 5.45 and bought drinks in the bar (£35). At 6.10pm we were told our table was ready - we sat so at 6.20pm we asked for service - waitress came and took order for drinks and then for our food. After a nice meal (we are regulars) we got the bill - it was £193 but noticed the happy hour prices had not been included - this only added around £18 to our bill but raised it with the manager fully expecting the bill to be amended. In the presence of customers I was told the order went in the 'till' at 6.31pm and therefore full prices applied !!. The booking was 6pm and the problem was due to the delay in service. I couldn't believe the manager didn't have discretion - the amount was small but his decision means we will probably never revisit.

Pizza was lovely and only waited 10 minutes for it to be baked. They have quite a good selection of other takeaway food too like wraps and kebeb

Great food, good pint of Guinness, good service. Recently refurbished, this bar deserves to be full every night.

We have known each other many years, but this is the first time you've come to me for counsel or for help. I can't remember the last time you invited me to your house for a cup of coffee, even though my wife is godmother to your only child. But let's be frank here. You never wanted my friendship.

Fresh and tastey. Buns were lovely and fluffy. Clean and polite staff in the cafe. Would recommend

Shocking prices! Nearly £10 for a portion of chips, SHOCKING!! £14 for a Pizza, which was extremely bland. Even Dick Turpin wore a mask! Slide quietly past this one on ur way home guys!

Ordered a chicken and Shish kebab and the size of the kebab was massive! There was honestly enough for 3 people it was that big! It was the best kebab I've had for a long long time just a shame I couldn't finish it all haha

This place certainly isn't closed. Its open every day and has a new chef and a new menu. I've had a few meals here in the last 2 weeks and all have been superb.

Our local.never ate here before till today .friendly staff and food to die for .we poved our mixed grill we even fed the dog to 10/10 from is two cant waot to pop along again soon !

The chicken kebabs were nicely marinated and plentiful. They are served with two pitta breads, a choice of one dip and chips or salad. We had salad and also ordered an extra side salad. The salad was ample and only had a slight pickling tang. I would have preferred red onions to white but otherwise it was enjoyable and delivered well within the time constraints.

Great tasty hot food. Me and my sons have started ordering from here regularly as the food is always good. Delivery lad was so lovely too. Thank you

Great food, cooked in an open kitchen, always tastes nice and fresh, its my favourite Chinese takeaway, does the very best fu yung, the only thing not giving it 5 stars is its a little lacking in selection, only a little bit though.
