Half order missing and what I did get was the most vile, plain, bland food ever! Cabbage in everything and no flavour as all, pale and disgusting

Soup horrible, chips noodles a load of mush and ribs hurt my gum as hard you’ve lost a customer

Foods barley warm - Drinks (Coke) warm instead of being cold - Delivered just after latest time given - Some parts of the food are over cooked and undercooked - 1st time I have even thought to leave feedback on Just Eat - £26! I would like a partial refund

The nicest Chinese takeaway we’ve ever had. The salt and pepper chicken was to die for and the chicken curry had loads of pieces of proper chicken in it, not the typical rubbery stuff

Really disappointed with the mixed starters they were greasy and we only are the ribs. Really poor value when it’s half the price of the mega box

We ordered chips with the chicken balls, but we got rice! The balls according to the menu were supposed to be 10 to a portion, we got 9. However, food quality was excellent, as were the sauces, so we're not looking for a refund or anything.

Chips were stale! Which is unusual as this is normally a great takeaway , and you no longer get free prawn crackers 😕

Vile tasting sweet and sour chicken jingling style…food tasted off and sauce was bitter not able to eat it due to rancid taste and smell… £22 wasted and in the bin …restaurant wouldn’t replace as too late for driver! Will never use this restaurant again

Ordered first time from here last night Chicken with spring onion (asked for no ginger) Duck fried rice Noodles chips and gravy Delivery was standard, food was piping hot - and I left it another 15 mins after it was delivered as I was busy The gravy was lovely and thick and really tasty. The chicken with spring onion had lovely decent sized pieces of chicken in and the duck fried rice was tasty too I'd definitely re-order from here.

I've used the china chef 5 or 6 times and the food has always been hot and full of flavour. Battered chicken balls with fried rice and curry sauce is my favourite along with the majority of food on the menu, nice friendly staff and reasonable prices

The food was good, but the place is dodgy and I stood around waiting for the food for an extra ten minutes while they ignored me.

Arrived late, but also lacked the 'freebie friday' thing that was advertised with them on the list. Also food was sub-par and just bad. I rang the shop after ordering about the Freebie Friday thing and they guy on the phone didn't understand what I was saying, said he'd call me back, and didn't. Bad.

These guys are probably the best around for chinese food. Always on time, always high quality. And sometimes they add freebies to your order, nice touch :)

Charged for food that wasn’t delivered and they said we would be refunded which we have t. Always use drivers not working as an excuse. Very un professional from ordering to delivery. 🤬

Ordered Tofu Red Thai Curry but was sent the basic Tofu Chinese curry, boyfriend enjoyed it anyway and didn’t want to wait for the correct one so didn’t ring but he said it was lovely anyway. Food’s always great here and always on time :)

I love the food from here. The portions are huge, full of of flavour and the food is always steaming hot when it arrives. This has to be the best go to take-away of all time. It is indeed incredible value for money and I always have some left over for lunch the next day. Thank you China Chef and I’m sure I will be ordering the same, some time soon. I’ll be back! 👍

Ordered around 6:38pm estimated time for delivery was 7:20-7:40pm got notification that food was on its way at 7:41 waited till 7:50 still no food so pressed button to say my order is late got new estimated time of 8:05 waited till 8:15 called the restaurant and was told my order got lost in the system and they will be making it fresh as one of the delivery drivers cars broke down which I understand comes down to bad luck but it’s now 9:30 they had time to close restaurantfinally getting my food

This order was so messed up. Didn't get the honey chilli spare ribs or the house special crispy seaweed. I did get a portion curry sauce which was not ordered. Seems like my order got mixed up with someone else's.

The chow mein is awful. I would not recommend. I hardly leave reviews but I had to. Waste of money. Avoid.

The food is generally very nice!

Delivery was on time but driver had a lit cigarette in his mouth as we answered the door. No one wanted the seaweed as it tasted way too salty and the mains were bland. Tried here based on the reviews as our usual was not available, don't think we'll come again.

Worst Chinese EVER !! The batter was white in places on the chicken balls ,the chicken was HARD n chewy, the chips were were white not cooked enough,and there was a strange taste to both the chicken balls and chips ,the BIGGEST WASTE OF £15 EVER !! WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN ,change your CHEF !! Threw it all away after two bites of one chicken ball and three chips WORST EVER !!

Ordered online and after an hour it hadn’t arrived. I contacted China Chef and the order had not been received. They sorted it really quickly and got my order to me and as always the food is lovely

I thought I ordered the crispy curry puffs but apparently ordered the curry chicken parcels instead. Which is fine. That's my fault. But I honestly couldn't even eat them. They were soggy and didn't have any chicken in them. Just huge pieces of curry flavoured leeks. So definitely make sure you are ordering the crispy curry puffs instead

Would give 0 stars if I could, food was disgusting, rice was soggy, noodles were claggy, chips were no better, chicken balls tasted fishy and kids said gravy tasted funny! absolutely no taste, was literally pre-cooked food reheated, threw it all in the bin, might as well have thrown the £45 in the bin and saved myself the hassle! Never again!!!

Ordered kung-po for a change but to be honest didn't enjoy it , too many water chestnut and bamboo slices. Also not too much flavour as had from other places normally have bit spice to them. Chicken chow mein bit bland as not much flavour. Plus late delivery

Food was over an hour late - so I cancelled the order. Over £30 was taken from my bank anyway - but still no food! Even a text or email to say the food was going to be late would be nice. But nothing. £32.00 well spent! I called the takeaway to be told they’d been busy, which is fine, but just let me know. They weren’t too busy to take my money though. I’ve not ordered from here before and I certainly won’t again.

Food was cold as the restaurant wrote wrong address on take away box so delivery driver went to wrong address first tried to ring the restaurant over 50 times and got user busy every single time, first time using this restaurant and will never use again abysmal

Food was fresh, hot, delivered on time. Taste was OK. Sweet and sour sauce was a bit like red jelly

The food was nice but the sweet and sour sauce just taste like vinegar, that’s was the only bad part about the meal.

Food didn't show, they still charged me and no one called to say why it didn't come.
