Called in for a quick dinner today, nice little place, had the mince and dumplings with mash and carrots and my girlfriend had the pork and stuffing sandwich. Both absolutely lovely. Friendly staff and will be going back in the future. Tastes like home cooked food. 😎😎😎

Great food if you fancy something to eat and can't be bothered to cook yourself at good prices

I went in without realising they’d closed at 3pm so I was a few mins over and they would’ve been within their rights to say sorry we are closed, but staff were lovely and made me a sandwhich which was delicious. Will definitely be returning! Thank you again.

Lovely family ran little bait shop. I always look forward to working in Birtley so I can nip in for some dinner, you're absolutely spoilt for choice and the food is to die for. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great little find this Sandwhich shop. Whenever in or near Birtley then this is my first choice for quality well priced food, the Hot food very tasty especially the mince and dumplings. Lovely warm and friendly staff and you can eat inside which is a bonus.

Just had a full english from Danny's and it was fantastic. Lots of great choices on the menu at reasonable prices, can't wait to go back and sample the beef dinner

Very nice little place with friendly staff. Quite busy at times but people take the food out mostly, so there ae plenty of seats. A lot of the local workers go in for lunch. I've been in 3 times for food in the last 7 days. I had the chicken curry, mince and dumplings and a tuna sandwich. All of it was very very nice. I couldn't see anything wrong with any of it. The meals are served very hot which is perfect. I plan on taking my friend there next time. Prices are set at around £5 - £6 for a meal with drink which means you can afford to use the place daily . All the staff seem reall friendly and helpful. I think it's healthier for me because sometimes I get a meal to take away and eat it later at work instead of always eating meal deals or pasties from the bakers.

Been a few times really like the food, nice friendly staff and good pricing would definitely recommend in future.

Used to be good. Food quality is now poor and prices are high. £3.30 for a bacon and sausage sandwich. Just go to Greggs across the road and get the same thing with a drink for £2.60

The food was amazing plus it was so tasty I could have had seconds

As we live locally we use Danny's on most weeks. Meals are always great and sarnies are awesome.

Got a sunday roast delivered yesterday, my god it was so lush ,not worth making a dinner for 1 .And I asked if they could make my husband something different and it was no bother .SO HAPPY YOU ARE OPEN ON A SUNDAY HAPPY DAY 🙂

Went for dinner and got a massive sandwich with loads of filling for next to nothing staff were friendly and polite waiting times minimal will definitely be going back without a doubt would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I always go here for the sandwiches which are delicious. A huge range of fresh fillings with salad for just over £2, can't go wrong.

The food from this shop was brilliant but recently has fallen short. Just had a chicken curry with rice and chips but I think they have forgotten to put any curry sauce on. Very disappointing - chips are also undercooked.

Smashing bait. All fresh. Great portions. Value for money. No combination is a problem. Friendly staff.
