I ordered a chicken burger but it did not adjust if I wanted chips or not but it cam wirh chips any way & no salad but did not add me if I wanted salad which I did, who wants a plain chicken burger

New menu added the new burgers are nice.

While it's normally fantastic one member of staff tried over charge me so I pointed it out, since then he gives me a dirty look and tonight had serve and prepared my food the wrap was half the normal size usually very big and tightly wrapped tonight it was half the size very lose I had to re wrap it at home, and he just put it on the counter and walked off rather than actually hand it to me, sorry caspian team I've used you since the 90s but am done plenty other takeaways on the front street sorry to the good team but one staff member can cast you loyal customers

Overpriced , overcooked , attitude of staff was apauling , never ever again do yourself a favour and avoid.

Ordered some drinks and they didn’t arrive so the delivery driver went to the shop and got them to deliver them very quickly. So kind! His name is Alan and we were all very thankful. He was lovely. I had no cash to give him which I felt so bad about. (Order was under the name Sally)

Chips and kebab meat box = absolutely swimming in grease could of re filled the friars with the amount lurking in the foil lined cardboard box also 2 bits of rainbow cake honestly never had anything so bad since costco cake. They put it in a bag with hot food causing it to melt everywhere and dripping in grease definitely the worst ive ever had for the prices we're now paying went downhill really quick

Ordered two burgers and loaded fries two nights in a row, arguably the best in Birtley for easy fresh food. Will be coming back for some desserts next time 👍👍

Ordered online for delivery and the delivery driver knocked on the wrong door and the dishonest person who answered accepted my order so when I rang the shop they explained that this must of been the case and with no hesitation the guy on the phone said he would remake everything and deliver it personally bearing in mind its past midnight and yet they arrived with a free cheesy garlic bread and a smile so would highly recommend as there customer service is like no other! Also the food was delicious too!

Without a doubt the BEST Chicken Kebab I've had in the NE !!! From the guy taking the phone order who was really friendly and helpful to the delivery driver who was equally as friendly and earlier than expected everything was great! There was stacks of chicken and Donner meat , big tub of crunchy fresh salad and a big tub of garlic sauce ..... would have easily fed 3 people ! 10/10 Caspian .... I'll definitely order again soon !

Recently moved out of Birtley but still travel for our Kebabs from Caspian! Can’t find a takeaway on par, prices a bit higher than elsewhere but it reflects in the food!

Just ordered a mixed kebab 12 inch chicken and mushroom pizza/chips everything was outstanding including the salad the purple cabbage was brilliant fast delivery as well I'm down here working for a while I have now found my favourite place to eat now thank you

Used Caspian for more than 30 years and never had any issues until tonight...just had pizza delivered with very very little topping of meat although had to pay extra for 2 x additional toppings. Very very poor and disappointing...will go elsewhere in future for Pizzas

Best pizza shop in Birtley. Amazing kebabs.

Kabab was ok even though my order had chilli all over it which spoilt it. The waiting area was filthy 2 old ice cream/ fridges in the waiting area one with clean me wrote in the dust with a old receipt on top and a curtain half hiding a unused part of the shop not a good sight.

Ordered at 11:30, stated it closed at 11:45 for delivery. Now 1am and they just haven’t bothered showing up. When they get it right it’s the best value and food around, but over the last 3 months I’ve had 3 incorrect orders and this one just hasn’t shown up despite paying for the food. CCTV on the house also confirms no delivery was attempted. If you want to gamble, then you’ll either get the best kebab in the area, or you’ll get the wrong order, or no food at all. I’d rather pay somewhere where my food actually turns up than gamble on either it being incorrect (despite allergies being advised), or not turning up at all

First time ordering , def won’t be the last , ordered online in advance for a specified time , food was 30 minutes late but well worth the wait. Ordered chicken kebab , the chicken is amazing , as is the salad and chilli sauce appeared to be fresh and home made and all this from someone who isn’t a big takeaway fan and loves to cook , highly recommend

Where do I begin? Boss man has out done himself once again with the Donner Dream. I was pigging out with one and the dopamine was bursting out my body with every bite. I dont know how you do it boss man but if you ever need someone to ride into battle with, im your man.

Pizza was cold even though I collected 20 mins after ordering, not the first time. chips looked and tasted like they were reheated from the day before and the salad was missing from the kebab.

Always loved Caspian! The do the best garlic sauce in the world. Ever since it moved to bimbis it’s not the same food. The chicken on the kebab is covered in yellow grease. Loved the plain chicken , such a shame cause it was the only kebab shop I’d go to.

Food still nice but compared to 10 15yr ago went down hill

Chips were hard. Like they’ve been left over and re-heated the curry sauce isn’t supposed to be watery. We also ordered a pizza that was just awful and very bland. Was a total mistake going here and I shall be going back to Sorrento’s. Traumatised.

Very good kebabs so much meat and the salad is fresh and tasty. Got a takeaway which didn't take long and was foil wrapped in a box. Ate it in the van and it wasn't greasy at all. I had a chicken kebab with a kofte and chips which was too much to finish but I loved it 👍🏻

Avoid!!! Waited hour for delivery, told be there in 1O mins. Wasn't told, couldn't find order so cancelled. Not again

Remember this place when I was at school 30+ years ago was good then and good now just moved back the area so was amazed to find it still going nice pizzas but fantastic house kebab my kids love the place as well, chips in a pitta for lunch when I was at school I think it was 55p 😁

Pretty much the best kebab shop we’ve ever ordered from. Don’t be deterred by the slightly higher prices. The kebab is always quality ingredients and the portion sizes are ginormous. Can’t comment on the pizza as never ordered one from here, but anything from the grill is always fresh and delicious.

Food has always being top quality when ordering from here, we've always rang or used the app but I wouldn't recommend using the app as used it the last 3 times of us ordering & I've had to ring to make sure they've actually received the order because the app has said 'processing' then straight away said 'archived' or 'on hold' which obviously has resulted in me ringing to make sure they'd received order as they had taking money from account, its not actually a biggy & I'm not complaining but some people use the app if they have no credit to actually call to place there order so isn't as technical as you'd want it to be. Also last night's order when yet again ringing to make sure they had received it they told me 15 minutes for collection, we turned up 20 minutes after & they still hadn't started half the order so once eventually sorted some of the order was fresh & the rest was soggy due to sitting wrapped up & in a bag. These are little things don't get me wrong but I'm just leaving an honest review. Other than that the food is absolutely amazing 😋👌 won't put me off ordering in the future either don't get me wrong but I'll go to the shop rather than through the app or ringing.

I have been a custermer for 30 years and wont be going back! Service very slow (35 mins) i was only person in the shop. Food was cold, paid over £18 and binned the lot! Disgrace..

Husband had to wait over half hour for 2 donor kebabs and portion of chips .When he got home one kebab had no chilli sauce on and both kebab meat was freezing .

Ate 4 times at this kebab shop earlier this month and it was a great success I paid for an upgrade to the large pizza, which was worth the price. The succulent donner meat, fresh salad and out of this world garlic were everything I’d ever hoped for The shop was exceptional, not only because every meal we enjoyed had a variety of options and was flavorful but also because the prices were so reasonable The entire kebab shop staff were a lot more friendly and calm than other places I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Been going here for 18 years or more, in the last 5 the place has gone slowly down hill, the last 3 times food has been ordered here, its been wrong....not questioning the food quality but more the staff serving it. You get home to find something missing. No urgency to serve anyone. Used to be the best kebbab shop in birtley back in the day!
