The best restaurants serving Default food in Delves Lane and Consett South County Durham North East

Found this cafe a couple of weeks ago and I have already been 3 times. Food quality is excellent and always great service.

We always visit this lovely friendly farm shop when staying in the area,great produce with a wide range,great parking too.looking forward to our next visit.

i used to use this chippy all the time, since new fryer its went further and further back, Some Chips were Raw, cheese patties looked like it had been stotted off a wall before served, unfortunately i wont be going back, huge shame.

Came here for breakfast with my son, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, very nice coffee and delicious milkshakes, the staff were very helpful and so welcoming, we will be back very soon! 😁

I love coming here. Always made to feel so welcome. I've decided they have the most delicious selection of cakes in all the North East! Not open all week is probably a good thing for the waistline as I'd happily visit daily!!!!!!

First time here easter sunday. Had been to visit at carehome just down road. Very helpfull as we had not booked found us a table. We had sunday lunch it was very nice will call again and try the other menu

Worst Sunday lunch I've ever had me and the wife got the small dinner £8.95 and by god it was small next to no meat my son got the large £12.95 and his was not much better, never again!

An absolutely lovely cafe in a beautiful place. Super clean and smashing food. Seperate covered area for those with dogs which is missing from a lot of food establishments. Extra friendly and polite staff. In general a bit of a gem! I find it hard to believe that you'll not be impressed. Playpark and river walk right at the door.

Fresh cooked chips. Nice for not been since I worked over that ways years ago

Probably the worst Sunday lunch I've had in a long time. Ordered the three meats yet all tasted the same. Beef was poor quality. We were given a grand total of 4 carrots to share, boiled veg fully of water, mash splat on plate. Absolutely no flavour at all such a shame as it's a lovely pub. Also please don't cover dinners in gravy it's a massive give away that it's not fresh. Yorkshire puddings poor and soggy

The best night out in Consett. Cheapest around. Safety is the key. Best clientele in the area.

Have known this family bar for many years.... Wonderfully traditional bar... Great Ales and spirits.. Smashing bar staff.. ®Recommend DJMcG 🇮🇪

Ok place, reasonable food. BUT. Ordered a fried egg and sausage. No toast came with them. Apparently, I had to pay for toast. Shame on you Tesco.

Very disappointing amount of veg in the mixed veg chow mien may as well of just ordered noodles- otherwise fab
