I visited this restaurant after seeing it featured on The Apprentice. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. Upon arrival, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. We had to ask whether we could sit down, and instead of a warm response, we were curtly pointed toward a table.
The table we were directed to was not exactly clean, next to another uncleared table—despite the restaurant being almost empty. Anisah, the Apprentice candidate, appeared overwhelmed with delivery orders and collections. Meanwhile, a man who seemed to be her father spoke loudly to other diners about having thrown out five customers the day before for swearing—a story that did little to enhance the atmosphere.
After waiting 35 minutes and repeatedly asking about our order, we were told how busy and successful the restaurant had been. At one point, we were even taken into the kitchen to be shown how many chefs had been hired to meet demand. I under this was meant to be friendly but really it was just completely unprofessional. When the food finally arrived, it turned out to be a basic Costco-style pizza base topped with Indian ingredients—something I’ve had many times from takeaway shops. It was far from impressive.
The overall experience was disappointing: poor customer service, a toilet without soap and a long wait for mediocre food. It took an hour to receive what was essentially a takeaway pizza.
Edit: Since I cannot reply I will edit my review and put it here.
We were the only customers in the restaurant apart from a couple to our left who left shortly after and 3 ladies in the corner. I find it extremely disappointing you have fabricated that 'our group' (me and my friend)were disruptive. We were not disruptive in any way, we sat patiently waiting for our food. The only interactions we had with staff were asking about the wait time and if we could have the correct drinks that we ordered. There couldn't have been multiple complaints as there weren't enough people physically in the restaurant for their to be multiple complaints.

It's hard to rate this place as a Trini, when I haven't been home for 12 years. We all know in Trinidad we all have our favourite roti place, our favourite doubles place etc. And the competition is fierce. Caribbeans are so protective when it comes to food. The food is a 5, but I gave it a 4, as I know my favourites. Please don't take that as a grilling or a downside. It was excellent. Amazing service and the owner introduced himself to us which was really nice. It's always a joy to meet a Trini far away from home and know they are sharing our beautiful culture around the world. The curry chicken roti was juicy, flavourful and beautifully balanced. The taste of the doubles was perfectly on point. I felt the roti skin and barra could be better, but we all know how hard that is to make, so I'll let it slide. The sorrel was a taste of home, maybe a bit too sweet, but that is sweet, sweet T&T. My friend had his first taste of Trini food here and he loved it, so I'm really thankful for that. I will be back as soon as possible. 9/10!

An absolutely wonderful start to the new year with a gathering of friends and family, enjoying incredible bespoke Bangladeshi cuisine from Saint Martins Restaurant. Truly a memorable experience!
Finalmente fui a comer aquí. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes.
Tenía Roti de Cabra al Curry. Fue espléndido y muy delicioso. ¡Muy recomendable! Gracias.

Looking at the menu, it’s a very nice idea. However, in actuality, it is incredibly poorly executed. The buns are what they say they are, as in they literally contain the components stated on the menu, but they were not nice. Three buns were tried (The Cuban, Don’t Chicken Out and The Greek) and all fell very very short of being enjoyable. Also, 70% of the chips received were burnt and inedible, they were also heavily covered in salt. Previous reviewers must be friends of the owners, there’s no other logical reason for any positive review. I’d only eat here again with no other option and the threat of death by starvation. Sounds harsh but it’s true.

I’ve ordered from here a few times but when I tried to order through uber eats using a discount code they cancel my order saying I’m out of the delivery area. Nonsense.
Thank you you’ve lost a customer I won’t bother ordering with you ever again plenty other places.
