Roti Masters in Sutton

Went to Roti Masters with my girlfriend tonight after driving past it so many times, and was SOOO AMAZED by the food and service. We had curry goat and pepper chicken with rice and peas and the food was fresh, hot and very tasty! We will certainly be coming back again soon

The food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and staff was courteous and helpful. Great portions if your hungry

I moved to Sutton 2 years ago and found Roti as I’ve never tasted doubles before . The women with the glasses in there is so miserable , I don’t know if she is the owner wife it’s like she doesn’t want to serve you . I love the doubles but every time I go in there it’s like her energy doesn’t want me to come in . She doesn’t engage with you at all. No hi , no goodbye , no smiles just a very stern miserable energy . The tall man I think he’s the owner is great when he’s there . I will never go back into Roti master for this reason as I cannot take negative energies in my food served by a negative women . She needs to see herself, either stay in the back cooking and not come to the front serving because this is not her strong point . Someone else also told me that’s why they do not go in there anymore as her energy is not right . It’s very dark . No matter how nice there food is . I will not step back into that shop . Sorry just speaking truth .

We came as a family on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. The teenagers had goat curry with rice and peas and I had the delicious oxtail curry, we all had soft drinks and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, we will definitely come back soon.

I’ve eaten here before but tonight I ordered jerk chicken tasteless, and cold, also ordered curry goat meat was very chewy and portion very small I’m a man and I ordered large again cold ! Why can not be consistent

The food was nice, but we didn’t get the side I ordered and paid for. The man served before me had to came back in twice as they’d forgotten parts of his order! I thought I’d be ok with mine and that they’d surely double check, but No! Not great service

I have tried four different dishes from this lovely local restaurant. I intend to try it all, I love the dishes so much! You won’t regret trying ! Lovely customer service also x

Delicious food. I had the salt fish and it was amazing. The place is spotless and Trevor and his team are really welcoming and passionate about their food.

The atmosphere in the resturant is really fun and lively, and the staff were all friendly. the Roti isnt as good as my mums but still great.

Until the lockdown I used to go for lunch with colleagues when we fancied something spicy. It's a bit expensive for every day (e.g. compared to a Gr**gs sausage roll) but the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and happy to give advice. There are usually some specials as well as the advertised dishes. If you are feeling adventurous, ask for the special hot sauce, but be very sparing with it. I haven't been to the new premises yet, but intend to once our office reopens.

Attended this little place on the off chance but could not pass it. Food absolutely delicious with reasonable prices located within shopping centre Staff really friendly and welcoming. Went yesterday, returning today before I leave the area. Should definitely expand and i understand that is in planning. Great food roti masters......thank you

On the day I had fried fish and rice.Nice taste of the fish and rice but the rice tasted quite grainy(cheap) in future will stick to the delicious roti and avoid rice dishes. Friendly service.

Very friendly couple from Trinidad. The food is well priced and nice homely atmosphere. They even make a Guinness punch!

This is the sister branch of the now defunkt Croydon original, run by the same people, see my croydon review.If you want quality, filling and tasty homecooked caribbean food, especially the chicken roti, you cannot go wrong. Unlike the fast food options, this is slow cooked food that does not leave you feeling hungry 30 minutes later.

I wanted a good value quick lunch that was not processed. I jumped in the lift to the top floor of St. Nicholas centre. The jovial owner and I had a chat while he prepped the curry goat with rice peas. For £8 or so I had a main with a can of Sprite. Other diners in this relaxed open area chatted about food in general. I had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch surrounded by friendly people. There is a loyalty card which takes off a fiver ever sixth visit. A lovely independent place serving home cooked food.

Nice flavoursome goat curry with a lovely hot scotch bonnet sauce. Sadly wrapped in a flaky crumbly roti which had been warmed in a microwave, and then warmed again in the microwave with the curry wrapped inside. May be better to have with rice? a microwaved roti is not ideal!! Staff friendly and helpful.

La comida es muy buena, pero es caro, así que si visita esperan conseguir estupendos sabores sino también para gastar su dinero,he probado en otros lugares y esto es muy bueno, de buen gusto y porciones grandes.El servicio es bueno y el personal es amable..diría que ir y probarlo si esta es tu tipo de comida, si no evitar (precio)pero merece la pena una visita.

Spontaneous visit whilst out shopping. Was just going to have a patty, ended up having curry goat with rice and peas with spinach on side. Good sized plate of food, all very well cooked, seasoned and tasty. Not particularly spicy (I like a fair bit of spice) but full of flavour nonetheless. Friendly staff and reasonable price for quality and quantity of food in a very relaxed little corner. Will definitely return

Great little place in unlikely setting. Tasty food, big portions and cheap prices with friendly service to boot - couldn't ask for much more!

I had been craving a roti and I haven't found many places in London that serve it. My other half had a meeting in Sutton so he said he'd swing by here and pick me up a roti for my supper! I was not disappointed. I had a roti with chicken potato and chana in and it was exactly to my liking. Be warned it is extremely filling! There was little left by the end of the day and I see why as the food is reasonably priced and delicious. I will be back soon!

This is a regular choice for lunch times. No matter what I order, the food is always excellent. The service is always delivered with a smile. I would encourage anyone looking for a good, hearty lunch to give this place a try. You wont regret it!

The staff are friendly and know about the ingredients in the dishes. The curry goat and brown stew chicken are delicious. The jerk chicken was not nice at all, the chicken was too dry and quite salty. In future I will avoid the jerk chicken.

This is the satellite branch of the main store in St Georges Walk in Croydon, which is where the food is freshly prepared each morning before being brought to Sutton.

I usually eat here once a month and it's always been delicious I usually get the rice and peas with chickpeas, pumpkin curry and potatoes and it's excellent!

Had jerk chicken and rice lovely taste served on a proper plate with real knife and fork brilliant for a fast food

If you like Caribean food this is a quick place to get some at lunch time, from roti to curry and rice, from prawn to goat there is a great choice, nearby seating in the atrium of the shopping centre.

Great service wonderful food friendly staff will return again good value for money great choice and very tasty

I stopped by a couple of times while I was at the mall, St. Nicholas, in Sutton.

First time I've been here - be warned the portions are huge! One roti is plenty for 2 to share. Absolutely delicious and the lady serving was happy to allow me to mix my fillings. I had channa and potato curry with some of the spinach filling too - amazingly tasty - loved it. Will def be back for more
