Gimasen offers the best selection from a huge range of Filipino food and does them well.
The food was deliciously authentic. The sweet and tangy bbq pork skewers and chicken wings, crispy lumpia spring rolls, longanisa pork balls, pansit noodles, and the infamous signature national dish, chicken adobo, were wonderfully presented on banana leaves, the portions were decent, came out relatively quick, and all tasted as good as home-cooked food.
As a British-Filipino, I appreciate the labour of love that comes with cooking Filipino food, and am so happy that Gimasen proudly takes this on, leaving me to enjoy a tasty meal with my friends and family.
We’ll definitely be coming back for Gimasen-more!
Visit their stall during weekends at Croydon town centre, or first two first Saturday's of every month at The Cricketers Pub, Addiscombe Road.
It was a date night with my wife and I wanted to fine dine yet be local to us. South Croydon is as local as can be. Crystal Restaurant under Hussain fulfilled and tick boxed. Starter of Baba Ganoush, my Sea Bass main, the grilled Chicken, and then the Saffron infused sugar Mint tea. Perfect. Thank you so very much for a lovely service.
The best coffee in Croydon and on top of that Pam, the owner, is absolutely lovely which ensures the place has a great vibe. Guinness cake is 10/10 too.

No idea how this place has almost 5 stars! It’s bad coffee for £4….if you’re desperate for caffeine then it’s fine but to make capitalism work better i recommend waiting until you get to a good coffee shop! The woman that served me was lovely though
The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and really exceeded my expectations. We tried the Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi and the DIY Beef Brisket, both of which were incredibly delicious and memorable. We also had an orange-infused coffee called Baby Bumblebee, and I was hooked after just one sip!
Visited Ponte Nuovo on 26th February with family. Had not been for quite a while, but was still as good as ever. Staff, particularly Roland, were fantastic and food was amazing. Experience was enjoyed by us all. Will be back again soon. Thank you.

By far my favourite venue in Croydon. Whether you're a full blown board game geek or just looking for something a bit different to do with your afternoon, you'll find a game that's perfect for you. The staff are great and perfect for helping you discover new games you love. Honestly a brilliant place.
Love this little coffee shop! It’s always busy, so obviously popular. The team are lovely and helpful. Great toastie, cake and drink selection. A couple more vegan toastie options would be lovely to see but the one on the menu is delicious.
The atmosphere & care of the husband & wife, as owners, are caring & very attentive. The food & beverages (etc) are heavenly in taste and in their prices.
You see regular customers (especially families) in their resprctive times to come & go.
This place is perfect , the reason i come regularly and always recommended to my friends, co- workers & my family.

This Italian restaurant I have not visited the first time, every time he gave me a feeling of home and his food temperature is very adequate because I am a person who likes food temperature adequate people there people greet polite feeling warm, the most recent only two days ago and a good perk so this is an Italian restaurant highly recommended

I ordered a well-done sushi set and a regular-sized mango bubble tea with lychee popping balls. I was quite surprised to find that the bubble tea cost £6.25 - something I only realised after I had already paid.
Unfortunately, the drink was extremely disappointing. It tasted quite literally like water (had already walked a distance so could not go back) and the popping balls had a very plasticky texture. It was so bad that I had to throw it away after just a few sips (photo attached).
I wouldn’t recommend their drinks based on this experience, though their sushi is decent
