Nice Vietnamese restaurant. The staff is really friendly. We didn't wait much at all even though the restaurant was full. The music wasn't too loud which is very much appreciated, especially knowing how loud London restaurants can be. We came here before for pho, which I'm more particular about, and I wasn't too satisfied. But this time around, we had banh cuon, the Saigon special and the grilled pork chops. The portions were good and everything was tasty, especially the marinade for the pork chops, very authentic!

It's a real authentic pearl in South Croydon. We returned because we loved pho and banh chuon! The dishes are consistently good and the owners are very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

Finally an authentic Vietnamese place in Croydon. I had betel leaf beef and bun bo hue and both tasted amazing and authentic. Warm and welcoming service. We even got free fruits after our meal.

Went to Saigon Bleu for lunch with my parents. The food was delicious and we had excellent service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, you won't go wrong for authentic vietnamese food.

From a Vietnamese person this is very authentic and delicious. The manager was super friendly and my white boyfriend got to test out some of his Vietnamese and kareoke skills. The ca phe sua da (iced coffee) is the best we've had in the UK. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely, helpful staff for newcomers to Vietnamese cuisine. Food was fresh and tasty and atmosphere was lovely. We over-ordered and left with enough food for two dinners and two lunches, which was excellent value. Highly recommended.

I chose this place intrigued by the reviews and it has now become my favourite local restaurant. The restaurant is clean, beautifully decorated and we were served by Nathan who was super sweet and made us feel so welcome. He recommended us a few dishes as it was our first time trying Vietnamese food and it was all amazing. My husband and I absolutely loved the pancake - packed full of flavour. I think this has to be one of my favourite restaurants in London ! We’ll 100% come back!

Whilst the staff were very friendly and welcoming I found the food to be generally mediocre and over priced. e.g. nearly £8 for three small spring rolls. Service was slow as well.

We were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the Croydon area, and having eaten here this is the only Vietnamese you need to head to if in the area. This restaurant is a cut above many others I've eaten at around London, including those in Hoxton. When we arrived outside this place looked very swanky, from the cool and sophisticated restaurant sign to the big glass doors showing the inside decor. As we entered there was a big table full of a Vietnamese family, so there was the authenticity validation before viewing the rest of the splendid restaurant when being shown to our table. On the menu were many different options, but not too many unlike some Vietnamese restaurants that list 100s of items. We decided on getting with Betal Beef and Fried Pork Spring Rolls, then for mains to share we had the Pho Special and a beef noodle dish we cannot remember the name of. I've been to a few Vietnamese restaurants and also a Vietnamese household to now know when receiving good food, and what we got was great food. I'd rate this as the best Vietnamese we'd visited in London. All the food was very well cooked and put together, before being served with plating worthy of an Instagram post. As always when getting Vietnamese we always get some Pho, selecting the special which had very tender beef and a lovely broth. The portion sizes were very satisfying too, not feeling uncomfortable as the dishes were freshly cooked with quality ingredients used as seen on photos. It was the people in this restaurant that helped us have an amazing time, as the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. It felt they were so friendly I'd return just for that experience alone as the Manager was very personable and made us feel at ease. Apart from the usual checks on the food, he did something that was very respectful and kind. A big table of Vietnamese guests wanted to do some karaoke (something we didn't know was available, consisting of Vietnamese songs). Firstly to know the level of fun and enjoyment can be increased was a bonus, but to share in the enjoyment of those singing and entertaining us massively added to the authentic experience we received (Vietnamese people love karaoke). Maybe next time... 😅 My summary is that this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've been to in London, and we would gladly return. Authenticity is what I always want, but to receive a high level of service and food in a very colourful & tasteful venue sets this restaurant apart from many others. Most people would gravitate towards going for Vietnamese in areas like Hoxton, however if you travel you'll have an experience you'll want to share with the rest of the world! 🇻🇳💜

We came as a recommendation and boy we were not disappointed. The food is AMAZING freshly made and super tasty. Tasted authentic and home made. We absolutely loved it 🥰 Two areas of improvement for me. Firstly the menu. For us non Vietnamese 🇻🇳 it would be great that the dishes photo on the menu matched the dish. As the name doesn’t say much to us. Also one photo is used for all dishes LOL makes no sense. Also, the waitress was a bit cold. When we ordered and food was delivered. Various sauces were given but no explanation on how we should eat it when asked we got the shortest answer and had to ask for each dish when you could have already assumed we are not familiar so explaining the dish would be nice. But this is minor and easy for them to improve. But will definitely come back the food was outstanding.

Amazing food, so fresh and full of flavour. We came in for lunch as I had heard good things and we were not disappointed at all. The food was very fresh and delicious and the portions were good. The lady who served us was very helpful, moving tables to accommodate our baby buggy and providing extra fish sauce so we could have as much as we wanted on our noodles. Loved it and can't wait to come back!

South End is a rare bright light in the darkness that Croydon has found itself recently. Here there is good Vietnamese food at a decent price. Just over £100 for 4 people, but did not drink alcohol, which would impact on the price. I can say with confidence, best salt and pepper squid ever, and authentic spring rolls! Not too spicy if that's an issue. Service is excellent and will definitely come back.

I don't know how long this restaurant has been open, but don't miss out on a truly amazing place. The venue is stunning, the staff amazing and the food is truly out of this world. This is my first time here, and certainly won't be my last. It is great to see a new restaurant like this in South Croydon. The presentation and variety of dishes is mind-blowing. The food is truly authentic. A couple passed us on the way out and asked what it was like, and I said you truly are in for an amazing treat. Get down there if you like Vietnamese food.

We came as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. The food is amazing and flavoursome and they dont skimp on portions. There is a lot of fresh leaves in the cooking which really compliment the flavours. Drinks are plentiful and the service is brilliant. Nathan is fantastic, he really looked after us and suggested dishes to try. They even brought cake out. We will go back. The cost for 8 was very good compared to other places we have eaten. For a well priced meal with plentiful food go here. In fact just go here Highly recommended.

I've been here twice now and love the food! The crispy noodles with beef was really nice, the sauce wasn't too salty, Vietnamese meat & vegetarian spring rolls were delicious, oh so was the pancakes served with fresh green vegetables

We visited a few weeks ago as a little treat for the family. We love Asian food and it was the soup that sealed it for us. We went in and it is open, clean, bright and a great atmosphere. The place slowly filled up. The food was plentiful and the service very good. The owner arrived and came over to see us, what a lovely chap. Would.defo go back. The food is full of flavour and plentiful definitely worth a visit. We will go back.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we were met with a wave of kindness by the staff. Although we waited a while for our food, it was definitely worth it as the taste of the food was sublime. Absolutely blown away by this hidden gem of a restaurant! I recommend you give it a try if you’re visiting or living in the area.

Came across this place today. I’m a local and have been wanting a Vietnamese restaurant to open up so I had to try. Wow. It doesn’t disappoint. Everything I ordered was 10/10, Spring Roll starters, Beef Special Pho, the quails to name a few. So glad this is here now I can get my Vietnamese fix whenever I need.

This is a welcome addition to the South Croydon restaurant hub. The food is fresh, very filling and reasonably priced. It's our 3rd time here and they'll be plenty of more visits soon.

We love the time we spent there. The staff were niece and friendly. After being seated they quickly gave complimentary prawn crackers. Food was just in time, was hot and was very delicious. We had a great time and they even gave us some fruit, hand wipes, and candy. Me and my family decided that we will go back and eat here regularly. Thanks for the fine meal guys!!!

What a great way to end a Saturday - the staff was super lovely and welcome and helped us out with choosing our dishes. Had the bahn cuon which was fresh (best I’ve had) and the prawn curry which was HOT in temperatures (despite it being in December) and had so much flavours - my new fav restaurant in Croydon ! Fantastic new restaurant in the south of Croydon. Came here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday, they were warm and welcoming , we found food for my 5 year old diuaghter, she really enjoyed the quail and we want the recipe! The owner was personable and had a special moment with me and my husband to celebrate his birthday. The waiter was attentive and made several good recommendations, the beef Noddles were superb. We left full, the portion for the appetizers are well worth the money and we had to take most of our mains home because we were so ful.

Delicious food with great service atmosphere. On our second visit we had the spring rolls, pork skewers with vermicelli and herbs, and king prawn fried rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Will define be going back!

I’ve been wanting to try this place since it first opened. I love Vietnamese food and have struggled to find anything decent since I moved to South Croydon 1.5 yrs ago. Happy to say I was not disappointed. The food was GREAT. I had the spring rolls (flavourful and perfectly crispy) and the seafood noodles (wetter/saucier than I was expecting, but extremely tasty nonetheless less). It was more difficult for my friend, who is vegetarian. She had the summer rolls and was able to request tofu. However, she was in the mood for Pho but there wasn’t a veggie option available. In the end she went for the beef broth but with tofu and bean curd, instead of beef. Thankfully she didn’t mind being a “flexi-vegetarian” on this occasion. If not, there wouldn’t have been any Pho for her! The service could’ve been a little bit faster but overall the staff were warm and lovely. Really liked them! The restaurant was nicely decorated, and clean too. I’d say it’s a little small for how nice they are. As in, I went on a Weds and it was quite busy by the time we left. I can only imagine it on a Thurs, Fri or Sat. I foresee Saigon Bleu becoming a bit of a neighbourhood gem. They’re going to need more space! I will definitely be going back. I plan to work my way through the whole menu 😂

Delicious Melbourne 🇦🇺 Vietnamese restaurant in Croydon! I grew up in Melbourne and am Vietnamese by background, so I was extremely happy to find out that Nate spent time there to learn the dishes that tastes like home! The lighting, music and atmosphere also has the same vibe as in Melb too! I've thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes here and taking friends to try and spread of them, and some of my favourites are: - Special Saigon Rice (aka com tam) - Beef or Chicken Pho - Banh Cuon - Nem Nuong - Pork vermicelli noodles - Summer rolls Honestly, you won't be disappointed with any of the dishes you try! 😋

Saigon Bleu is a newly opened, Vietnamese restaurant. It was a joyful experience eating in; the service was very welcoming. The man came to greet us with bows and cheerful smiles, he was friendly and gave us complimentary items. With a few improvements on faster service & tweaks on the food. I believe this place would be fantastic; e.g. pancake could be crispier or the broth could be less sweet. Nonetheless, thank you for serving us! They even have a karaoke floor!

Excellent food, including some options not found on the menus of other vietnamese restaurants in the area. The Bánh cuốn were great, and the grilled chicken was especially good - charred and crispy in all the right places and still juicy in the middle. Good iced coffee too. Service was friendly and relaxed. Definitely one we'll come back to.

Went here with my wife after work today. I was very impressed. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was really fresh with great flavour and plentiful portions. Pricewise I was very happy, each dish averages £11 but comes as a complete meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and had a nice ambience to it.

We visited here and really loved it, will be back again:-) we had the steady pancakes and summer rolls which were great! Crispy beef noodles as a main also great! Only giving 4 as the pho wasn't as good as others we've had but it was still delicious. Really friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely give them visit.

The moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm atmosphere of friendly upbeat, but not loud and noisy, music. Add that to the cleanliness, the attractive layout and staff friendliness that you just want to come in and find out more. My entire team arrived by pure accident due to the Italian we were supposed to go to shutting down. Now we want to come back again and again. Talk about luck! We shared a variety of authentic Vietnamese delicacies and boy were they delicious....and without the tons of oil you can taste in many restaurant food today. On street parking was great and the owner super friendly and accomodating. The restaurant had only been open a couple of weeks and was already full by the time we left.

What a find. I visited Saigon Bleu on Monday, a new Vietnamese restaurant, with a party of eight, and I must say it was an incredible experience. We had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes from their menu, and each one exceeded our expectations. Among my personal favorites were the Chicken Curry, Spring Rolls, and Banh Cuon. The flavours were rich and authentic, truly capturing the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. To add to the experience, Saigon Bleu offers both a karaoke setup in the main dining area and a private karaoke room, perfect for hosting private events. (Extremely rare/Non-existent in Croydon) Whether you're looking for a lively night out or a more intimate gathering, their karaoke option brings an extra element of fun and entertainment. I would like to give a special shout-out to Nathan and Nhan, who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of remarkable. Their friendly and accommodating nature made us feel right at home. To complement our meal, we indulged in some of Saigon Bleu's delightful cocktails, which were truly a treat. Overall, I cannot recommend Saigon Bleu enough. The combination of authentic Vietnamese dishes, amazing atmosphere, and top-notch service make it a standout dining destination. I have no doubt that I will be returning to explore more of their menu in the future. This has definitely become a go-to spot!

I cannot rate this place highly enough, the food is unbelievably good, reasonably priced and the service is excellent. The restaurant itself is super clean and modern and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Easily one of the best restaurants on South End - we will 110% be returning
