The decor was fab, you can tell they spent a lot on it. They had the raw meats displayed on the counter. We ordered the Angus Burger, kofte, & ribeye steak as mains, with grilled calamari, sweet potato fries, normal fries as starters. The starters were fantastic, the burger tasted a little odd, the meat too soft. Steak was good, nothing special.

Been twice now. The lamb was outstanding! Give this place a try. Update. Have continued to return as it's in my neighbourhood. Hate the green decor and booths, but the food remains outstanding. Rooftop is excellent for a drink if the weather cooperates.

My parents and I stayed at La Gaffe a few days ago. It was the most homely, pleasurable experience. Lorenzo was such a sweetheart, as was Gaseppi, Dekka and all the staff! The location was spot on, close to everything and lots of food spots a minute walk away. The rooms had all that you need. Each morning, we had delicious bread rolls and fruits for breakfast, as supplied by the hotel. I’ve never been to Hamstead before, but it felt like coming home. If you want this kind of experience, book here.

I think we are here literally every week, at least once. Friendly staff, amazing food – a very popular place, always busy. Anyway, I had eggs with matzah, and later something else – a sweet dish with matzah 🥰 trying everything, I did not know they did a Passover menu 😇 fantastic!

They really do have some of the best burgers in London here. The staff are so kind and helpful especially with my allergies, they were very patient! Anna, Sadie and Kim thank you so much! I will be coming back

Estábamos visitando la zona, no tenía reserva, pero caminamos a las 7 pm . . parecía muy ocupado, sin embargo, dijeron que podían hacer que nos sentáramos en 30 minutos, volvimos y la mesa estaba todo listo. El servicio fue rápido y la comida era increíble. Se llevó una pizza a casa como estaba celoso de todos los demás, pero el ragu todavía estaba muy bueno. X

Mi segunda visita y las dos excelentes. El lugar bullía en una fría tarde de febrero. Puede ser ruidoso cerca del kitch, ningún problema se trasladó al frente. El personal es muy servicial y el servicio rápido. Por boa bollos de pato eran excelentes al igual que la ensalada de queso de cabra muy generosa. La cuenta creo que es razonable para Hampstead. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveremos!

La mayoría de los platos aquí contienen MSG. La camarera pudo identificar solo 2 entrantes sin MSG y solo aproximadamente 1/3 de los platos principales cuando se le preguntó. El resto tiene MSG, que ella afirmó que era la 'base para la cocina asiática'. No podían hacer ninguno de los otros platos sin MSG, lo que fue sorprendente. Entonces me pregunto si las comidas fueron cocinadas desde cero o pre-envasadas. La comida era bastante básico también.

Dining here is like authentic Izakaya experience - lots of sake selections and amazing yakitori 🧡 also loved the Una Tama sushi, can taste the fresh ingredients and balanced flavours. The place was a bit packed but not super loud.

Excellent quality of service and cuisine. We went for the à la carte menu: Frogs legs/Goats salad/ Beef Bourguignon x2/Tarte Tatin x2/Fresh mint tea/a bottle of white wine without suphates and coffee. The hospitality was warm, efficient and delightful. The only criticism was no apertif list and no biscuit or chocolate with the coffee. Petty points, but noted ones. Thank-you!

This spot is soooo lovely, the food and atmosphere is amazing, v cute decor and the staff are so accommodating. Thank you Hasan and Jessie! I loved the mussaka!!!

I visited this museum in Hampstead and it truly is a hidden gem! We were fascinated by the history so interesting and beautifully presented. We also had lunch there and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the cakes looked super fresh and homemade. The staff were really kind and welcoming, and the flowers around the house make the whole place look stunning. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
