Alp's Kitchen in Camden

The decor was fab, you can tell they spent a lot on it. They had the raw meats displayed on the counter. We ordered the Angus Burger, kofte, & ribeye steak as mains, with grilled calamari, sweet potato fries, normal fries as starters. The starters were fantastic, the burger tasted a little odd, the meat too soft. Steak was good, nothing special.

I have meant to post a review since I came here with a friend for dinner last November 2019. Alp's Kitchen is a fabulous steak restaurant and given the very high quality food and the beautiful setting with excellent attention to detail, EXCEEDINGLY Good Value in comparison to some of its peers such as Gaucho's and Hawksmoor. Alp (the owner) is perfectly charming and experienced/knowledgeable, given that he cut his teeth in Aberdeen for several years in the industry. I came with a steak loving friend as my husband is vegetarian(alas) but I hope to be back here again soon as Alp really deserves success and for the restaurant to flourish given the time and money that has invested in this Labour of Love.

Honestly had the best meal and experience I’ve had in a long time, high end cuts of meat.. all cooked the way you like.. staff are super friendly and accommodating. Creamed mash to die for and the beef tartare was delicious.. I honestly have dreams about the food here, worth a visit.

Alp is a great host and cook. He deserves our support. We unreservedly recommend his restaurant for its great food and friendly, efficient service. He also has an interesting drinks menu!

this place is 10/10! service is brilliant, food is amazing and Alp goes above and beyond to give you a great customer experience. Will definitely be back! :)

We had seen an advert in our local paper. Had previously been to this site when it was a restaurant that unfortunately had shut down. Alp's was locely, you had the meat displayed and the menu was varied. The staff were helpful and friendly and Alp himself was very helpful. Nice to meet the owner. Definitely go back. It was a shame that we went on a quiet night. It is always a hit and miss between Christmas and the New Year.

Alp’s Kitchen is Great .... salt bea in Belsize Park ... loved the food , Alp himself a great host... staff very good ... but it’s all about the meat , lamb great , beef rocked... be back ... MICHAEL

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food , the steak was absolutely delicious and great staff who couldn’t be more obliging. The owner / chef gave a real personal touch by coming to the table and checking everything was ok. We also had asked in advance about a little something to be done as it was a Birthday celebration and we got the most amazing cake brought to the table. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went to this restaurant after visiting at Royal Free We were surprised we were the only customers on a Thursaday evening.This made the atmosphere soulless. The good was good and well presented the wine was delicious. Staff were polite and efficient. Owner came and spoke to us. Shame it's not busier. Maybe it's the limited menus and prices are quite high.Most of the previous reviews are positive but there are a few negative comments .

meats compare well to very good places in central london (e.g. hawksmoor, goodmans) Sommelier very knowledgeable and wine list well priced Not cheap - but not too expensive for the quality of meats.

Fab new restaurant in the neighbourhood. Worth the visit and reasonably priced. Great steak, 45 day aged. Excellent. Cooked to perfection. And yummy chocolate soufflé.
